"by far the best price/performance ratio currently available ... cheaper than a JBL Charge 5"
"It is a fact and would stand up to any comparison that the EarFun UBOOM X is currently the best you can get for around €100 in terms of sound quality and also as a complete package. ... When it comes to the best sound quality, which means reproducing the music as accurately as possible across the entire frequency range, including bass and low bass, speakers the size of a drinks can or sandwich tin can't really compete."
"only costs about half as much. ... for the same money you could buy two UBOOM X and use them in TWS. ... Two speakers in stereo sound more than twice as good as just one and really bring music to life with their wide sound stage."

"Thanks to the EQ, it can be perfectly adjusted for the situation in a small bathroom. ... With the UBOOM X I have almost as good a sound in the bathroom as with my audiophile hi-fi system in the living room. ... With the UBOOM X, EarFun has brought a really exceptionally good Bluetooth speaker onto the market. ... I use the speaker in this situation with a very bright EQ at low volume. And that works so perfectly. ... listening to music in excellent quality."

"The guy who did the DSP tuning (easily 80% of the speaker's performance) for the Uboom X did a pretty big write up lately that's a good read ... He's pretty well known around for having an amazing ability to tune these things and I own a few speakers and headphones that he's done and I'm extremely happy with all of them. ... just make sure you install the Earfun app to update the firmware and select an Oluv EQ like Indoors. Out of the box it sounds like complete garbage (which especially shows how much the DSP tuning matters)"

"Soundwise on a similar level to a JBL Boombox 3 ... The EarFun UBOOM X is a powerful and superb sounding speaker ... The UBOOM X surpasses the Boom 2 Plus in terms of general sound quality and bass depth."
"It can produce a deeper bass and a better overall sound quality, i.e. a more linear frequency response, better clarity, more authentic separation and reproduction of instruments and vocals. ... It really does have audiophile qualities."

"earfun uboom x is perfect for low volume listening, cause it boosts bass and highs at low volume. ... at night i use it between 20-35% volume and it is just delightful."
"the sound of the UBOOM X, which I use in the bathroom, also regularly brings a smile to my face."
"The EarFun UBOOM X has a generally very good sound quality, which is particularly characterized by the authentic reproduction of instruments and vocals. ... But the sound quality is so outstanding that once you walk through that door, there's no going back. You'll be lugging four kilos everywhere with you without a murmur, because it's worth it."

"So instead of trying to do another "boombox" I thought it could be nice to have a speaker for serious listening which could do both, be some kind of portable studio monitor and some boombox for outdoors if needed. ... indoor should offer a pretty neutral response similar to studio monitors with some psychoacoustic stereo enhancing and dynamic bass and treble adjustments for lower levels ... indoor+ adds even more stereo width and has some slight boost at the lowest and highest frequencies. ... outdoor has upper bass slightly reduced to avoid the speaker to appear too boomy when placed at the ground while midbass around 60hz boosted more, at the same time lowest bass is cut quite a bit more as usually outdoors these frequencies are not heard that well anyhow, this together with the less aggressive compressor for treble allowed for the highest SPL levels with less distortion than outdoor+, Boom xXX etc. ... Boom xXX was meant as rather fun for those who simply love that boominess. It is still listenable unlike some Sony speakers that are just knocking and humming with mudiness and IMO Boom xXX works best for maximum volume with the most overall bass and slightly less distortion than outdoor+ while being louder at the same time. ... Ground O which stands for ground omnidirectional should offer you the most bass possible when placed at the ground due to the boundary effect without the boominess you would get with Boom xXX, at the same time treble is boosted a lot to allow for omnidirectional listening when the speaker is aimed upwards. This works fairly well and due to the reduced upper bass it gives a more controlled result than Boom xXX with a cleaner, deeper bass due to the ground reflections. ... I still created an own desktop mode which should give more satisfying results with the speaker placed on some larger table or even at the ground. It should still offer a rather neutral uncolored result compensating for the reflections of this surface."

"I returned them because of sound drops when paired in TWS mode (a known issue)"
"i tried party and tws mode for the first time last week and had stuttering problems as well :( ... only oluv eq that had no stuttering was the "studio" mode. still sounds great, but it is just sad you can't use the powerful equalizers."
"I returned them because of sound drops when paired in TWS mode (a known issue) ... I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the UBOOM X to anyone who doesn't intend to use two of them in TWS mode. ... It happened for me with my own custom EQs and all the Oluv profiles including Studio while playing locally stored Spotify files on Android. ... With two UBOOM X speakers, it would sometimes play for hours with no stutter and sometimes stutter 5 times in 5 minutes (no pattern that I can see... I'd replay the same song after multiple sound drops and it'd sometimes play smoothly the next time and sometimes stutter in different spots). ... I didn't experience sound drops with a flat EQ."

"At four kilos, it is one of the smaller speakers in the boombox class. ... Hahaha, I can tell you, this thing is a big chunk. ... When I held it in my hand for the first time, I also thought it was far too big."
"But they are huge! ... Probably not easily carried from room to room"
"it was too big"
But only in Oluv's studio, indoor and indoor plus modes
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth speaker for vinyl recommendations ->You're not listening close enough... Put it in normal indoor mode, sit in front of the speaker and listen to actual music, you should notice that its hard to even hear the speaker because of how little coloration it has
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth speaker for vinyl recommendations ->Uboom X should've been marketed as a "hifi" speaker with a nicer design, given to some audiophile channels with your DSP as standard setting and it would've been selling like hot cakes for 3x the price... But earfun managed to screw it up, anyway I'm glad that it exists so those of us who want a great natural sound can get what I would consider the finest sounding battery powered speaker at any price and yet its like $125 on average. Still very sad about the channel because there were some amazing videos there but it definitely showed that people even with the best and most objective sound demos simply can't handle watching someone demonstrate a product that's better than whatever they bought, after all, that's a direct intelligence attack for most.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • The truth about the Earfun UBoom X and my part ->Uboom X + Uboom L from Earfun, both in one of Oluv's dsp settings in the app
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth speakers available under $200? JBL vs Tribit vs Bose ->Earfun Uboom X in studio, Indoor or Indoor+ mode... I don't think there's anything battery powered out there that sounds nicer at normal volumes at any price
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth speakers for death metal? ->Earfun Uboom X in Oluv's newest firmware from his patreon and his indoor dsp setting if you can find one. I've heard a lot of bluetooth speakers, I also have the Vifa Copenhagen 2.0 which could maby be the next finest sounding battery speaker imo... Only issue with the Uboom X is the design. Here's a great comparison with Beolit 20: https://youtu.be/yt9X287XsC8?si=26t_CJ88Q6lj2Vz5 (newest video on that channel also demonstrates it against Neumann kh80 which is useful) A lot of people are always saying Go+Play 3 but that's simply way too boosted in bass and doesn't have the same linearity and smoothness of the Earfun
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • ‘Audiophile’ Portable Speaker ->It's weird and most have some problem with this but in terms of pure sound quality when sitting in front of a speaker, Earfun Uboom X in Oluv's custom firmware and indoor dsp setting is probably the best on the market. I would rank Vifa Copenhagen 2.0 (in late night mode and playing in its sweet spot) as close second in terms of the overall sound (obviously not talking only about bass and power here, these two are proper "hifi" compared to the rest of the market and I've been searching for something potentially better than the Copenhagen since I got it 4 years ago).
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best premium medium-large portable BT speaker (can be carried) any price ->Uboom X in Oluv's indoor would be absolutely the best choice, maby you can still find some Vifa speakers? Also, Ldac/Aptx advantage is negligible, you'll get more improvement by lowering some peak in the frequency response via eq
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best 'neutral' sounding speaker with LDAC/aptxHD/aptx under $400 AUD? ->It has deeper bass but Vifa sounds much smoother and more refined (in Late Night setting) and can also play louder than the Hk. Ultimately Earfun Uboom X in Oluv's indoor mode sounds overall better than both imo and will get improved even more because he is working to improve it right now...
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • This thing is absolutely incredible in every way… best speaker I’ve EVER had ->Only in Oluv's studio, indoor, indoor plus modes... It still lacks refinement for on axis listening in any other mode
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth speaker for home audio ->Uboom X, it now on sale for only 92 dolar. Its a great speaker. Especially for this price. If you like deep bass, good mids and highs this is a great pick. Fast charging trough ucb c. Powerbank for your phone. Great eq possibilities. Loud sound with deep bass. Ip67. Pair it till 50 speakers. Aux in. The bose soundlink flex 2 is a great speaker. Portable, good deep sound. It will sound a lot bigger than it is. Ip67. Usb c charging. Great build quality. 3 band eq trough the bose app. Durable rock solid design. Fantastic color options.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best budget portable speaker with great sound quality?(Under $150) ->https://www.myearfun.com/speakers/earfun-uboom-x-portable-bluetooth-speaker-black If you also add the code UBOOMXXX The prise will be 104 dollar or 104 Euro Before it was 92 haha fave fun 🙏🏻
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best budget portable speaker with great sound quality?(Under $150) ->Bose soundlink flex 2 has great bass for on the go. Especially for it's size. If you play with the eq in the bose app and put it in the corner. It sounds way bigger that it's size. Earfun Uboom X is also great. Its larger but almost the same price as the bose. The bass on it is fantastic. Devialet Mania is an wonderful sounding speaker. Big bass, great highs, and a big price haha 😉 Jbl flip 7 or charge 6 are great for outdoor usage.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Smallest BT speaker with Best Bass response? ->I really like the UBOOM X, but I wouldn't call it a premium product. It has cheap startup sounds, and the build quality isn't very premium either. It's just plastic and a bit of rubber. It does sound good tho.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best premium medium-large portable BT speaker (can be carried) any price ->Still doesn't feel like a premium product. And the design is very bland. It just sounds good, that's about it.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best premium medium-large portable BT speaker (can be carried) any price ->I wouldn't recommend any Earfun speaker to someone who isn't very tech savy. Every Earfun speaker sounds mediocre out of the box and they need EQing. I really like my UBOOM X, but I just can't recommend it to my mom. That's why my mom has a JBL Charge. Also, any of the stock (normal or OLUV's) EQs are way too focused on deep bass, which isn't the best with classical music. And it's not very portable I think, it's rather huge.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Super simple to use Bluetooth speaker ->Those are all very different speakers, but if you want to have the best sound, bigger is almost always better. UBOOM X is a good choice.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Which one is best out of these never used a good bluetooth speaker before want to try. For both indoor and outdoor use but mainly indoors ->I will probably get flamed for this, but the UBOOM X was definitely the best purchase of the year, great speaker for the €91 I paid. It can't compete with the JBL Boomboxes, but those are at least 3 times more expensive. I bought a Soundcore Motion 300 too, that thing is pretty good too. Feels and sounds very premium for a low price.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Favorite Bluetooth speaker purchase of 2025 ->Bought it about 6 months ago, had to use a coupon code on the global website, so you pay in dollars. Dollar price and euro price is the same, but the conversion for dollar to euro is pretty good. Sadly they discontinued the speaker, I would like it in TWS. I haven't listened to the Boombox 3, but I feel like people compare the uboom x to more expensive speakers. The UBOOM X is not perfect, the way highs sound is a bit weird because the woofers get a full range signal, but overall it's pretty good. And the speaker gets very loud with decent bass. I mostly use it as a party or outdoor speaker, and it does that very well. At home I have a full surround system with big bookshelf speakers, and a big Edifier 2.1 system at my desk. Those sound much better, but I can't take those with me lol.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Favorite Bluetooth speaker purchase of 2025 ->I think the Oluv eq part is overrated. Yes it sounds pretty bad out of the box, and yes it sounds decent with the Oluv EQ. But people pretend he is the best and whatever. His EQ's lack upper bass and mids, while the normal EQ has mids. For the price it's still a pretty good speaker, but there are much better options if you spend a bit more money or buy something non portable.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Uboomx is not a Unicorn ->Really depends on the EQ, it sounds pretty bad out of the box, but with the Oluv EQ it sounds pretty good for a portable speaker for this price, and it gets pretty loud too. But an Edifier bookshelf speaker with the same price will sound much much cleaner than this, but those lack deep bass. The UBOOM X lacks upper bass and mids tho, especially with the Oluv eq, and the highs can sound weird because the woofers don't have a crossover. I bought it for €95, I'm pretty sure there isn't a better sounding loud portable Bluetooth speaker.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Uboomx is not a Unicorn ->I like the UBOOM X, but it's not neutral or balanced at any point. It's a boombox speaker, lots of volume and lots of bass, and it's pretty good at that for the money.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Uboomx is not a Unicorn ->It might be close to neutral, but it's not close to the clarity that any studio speaker has. It's just not made for high quality audio reproduction. It doesn't help that there isn't a "real" crossover inside the speaker. The tweeters have some kind of crossover so they don't get any low end, but the woofers get full range audio. This makes the treble sound super weird sometimes. It is a pretty good party speaker tho
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Uboomx is not a Unicorn ->I have used it in some cars as well. Tried my old JBL Xtreme first, but the bass doesn't really keep up in a car. The Uboom X worked great with the BOOMXXX eq. No portable Bluetooth speaker can compete with a decent car stereo tho.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Which of these options would be the best choice to have in a car? ->If you can still get your hands on an EarFun UBOOM X, you should consider it. It's a great sounding speaker with a sensational price-performance ratio.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Seeking recommendations for a portable speaker that realistically wont travel often ->If you're looking for high volume and powerful bass, you'll have to compromise on speaker size. I had a Soundcore Motion Boom, which is significantly more powerful than the JBL Charge. But even that wasn't powerful enough for my taste, especially for outdoor use. I switched to the EarFun UBOOM X and couldn't be happier. Yes, it's big and weighs 4 kilos. I even transport two of them on my bike to private outdoor events. It takes some effort and hassle, but it's absolutely worth it. For me, the UBOOM X is the perfect compromise between size and sound. It delivers absolutely great, rich and full sound at volumes that are sufficient for me. A speaker with an even higher maximum volume that is larger and heavier would not be an option for me. However, I wouldn't want anything with less power than the UBOOM X. It offers so much more power than a JBL Charge, and even significantly more power than a JBL Xtreme, Soundcore Boom 2, or Tribit Lava. There are numerous sound comparisons on YouTube that prove this. You might find this video interesting. [https://youtu.be/YAj5BIASWL0](https://youtu.be/YAj5BIASWL0) Whichever way you look at it, if you insist on a compact size, you compromise on sound. End of story.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Looking for Very Loud Bassy Charge 6 Size Speaker in the $100–$200 Range ->If portability and size are not important factors for you and you prioritize good sound quality, I recommend the EarFun UBOOM X. If you can still get your hands on one, it's a particularly interesting option. Here is a sound comparison with the Charge 6 and the Xtreme 4: [https://youtu.be/YAj5BIASWL0](https://youtu.be/YAj5BIASWL0)
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • JBL xtreme 4 or a JBL charge 6? I was also contemplating on getting the Bose SoundLink max but the battery life is kinda letdown from what I’ve read. What do you guys think? ->The EarFun UBOOM X offers by far the best sound quality and performance you can get from your selection. Check out sound comparisons on YouTube. I have a pair of these, and they produce a full sound like a small PA system up to a certain volume, even outdoors. It is clearly a class above the Lava and the ULT 5 and two classes above the Charge and the ULT 3. So, that about sums up my enthusiasm for the UBOOM X. However, if you want to use the speaker often with your laptop, I would recommend a stereo pair of active Bluetooth bookshelf speakers, such as those from Edifier.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Top Portable Speaker Under ₹20k for All-Day Music and TV Series ->The EarFun haters are on the rise again. LMAO! This subreddit is a bit of a joke! If you haven't heard of the UBOOM X yet, I'd suggest having a look on YouTube and in the trade press. If you can, it's definitely best to listen to the speaker in person. It sounds absolutely superb for a Bluetooth speaker and offers sensational value for money. It's a fantastic overall package that is second to none. The negative comments here in the subreddit or the downvotes mean nothing at all, or rather, they just mean there are ignorant people out there. But that's nothing new.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What’s the best Bluetooth speaker right now? any suggestion pls? ->I have a pair of EarFun UBOOM X and I'm thrilled with how good and powerful they sound. Admittedly, it takes some effort to carry these two four-kilogram speakers around everywhere. But the rich sound they deliver at private outdoor events or when meeting up with friends, for example, makes up for it, and I've already received countless positive comments about how excellent the sound quality is. At medium volume, the performance is comparable to that of a small PA system. I recently used them in TWS at a distance of around 30 meters. It worked perfectly. Once you have manually paired them using TWS, they will remember each other and automatically pair in stereo mode the next time you switch them on. I've never had any problems with custom EQs in TWS, these have only been reported in connection with the use of Oluv's DSP programs. I think the UBOOM X sounds even better with a custom EQ, both at low volume indoors and at higher volume outdoors. The battery life is also excellent, and they have an IP67 rating, meaning they are water and dust resistant. The EarFun Audio app works well. They simply offer a great overall package.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What’s the best Bluetooth speaker right now? any suggestion pls? ->If sound quality is your top priority, you should check out the EarFun UBOOM X. If you live in the US, you're in luck. It's still available there. Note that this is a boombox-class speaker, so it's quite large and heavy. I have a pair of these and they sound fantastic, whether indoors, outdoors, at low or high volume. The 10-band EQ in the app allows you to adjust the sound perfectly to any listening situation. And I say this as someone who has a high-quality hi-fi system in their living room. But I wonder why you want a portable Bluetooth speaker if you only use it indoors. Wouldn't two active monitor speakers/bookshelf speakers be a better solution for you? Honestly, I don't understand the recommendation for the Bose SoundLink Flex 2. Its advantages are its light weight and compact dimensions, which make it highly portable. However, when it comes to getting the best sound for your money, this wouldn't even be a consideration.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best sounding portable speaker ->The EarFun UBOOM X is still quite portable, has powerful, deep bass, and excellent overall audio quality. It could be a good alternative for you.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Portable speaker similar to harman kardon aura 3 ->The answer is quite simple, but it doesn't really help: Two speakers in TWS (stereo) sound more than twice as good as one, and a larger speaker generally produces a fuller sound. The first question you should ask yourself is: what size speaker is practical for me? The second consideration is whether you are willing to regularly transport and set up two speakers. Budget can also be a limiting factor, of course, if you can only afford one large speaker or two small ones. I opted for two large speakers and I'm thrilled with how well they perform. I was able to buy two EarFun UBOOM Xs for less than €200. Admittedly, it takes some effort to lug these two speakers, each weighing just over four kilos, around everywhere. However, the sound quality and richness they provide at private outdoor events or when meeting friends makes it worthwhile. I would recommend buying the larger, more powerful speaker from your selection now. Then, you can experience using it in practice and decide later whether you might want a second one.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • 1 big speaker or two small ones ->The UBOOM X would still be my first choice. There are currently four second-hand ones listed on Kleinanzeigen, including one in Leipzig priced at €120 (negotiable). I would snap that one up immediately if I were you! I have two of them. I often use one (or two, if I'm feeling wild) at a low volume in the bathroom, but I also regularly use both in TWS mode at small, private outdoor events. I am absolutely thrilled with this speaker. It's a great-sounding all-rounder that suits me perfectly in almost every way. Edit: [https://ibb.co/JWJwVtCX](https://ibb.co/JWJwVtCX)
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Need ONE speaker for everything - what’s the current best choice? ->Buy him an Earfun UBOOM X for dorm parties. For his outdoor activities, add the Soundcore Boom 3i. Both speakers should fit within your budget, and they will give your grandson so much more than a Flip or UE Boom would.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Portable Speaker suggestions - gift for 22 year old Gen Z Grandson ->The EarFun UBOOM X delivers the best performance and fullest sound available for under $150. Its superb audio quality puts it in a different league than the Bose SoundLink Flex or the JBL Charge. However, it is quite a big chunk.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth speaker ->The EarFun UBOOM X offers a full, powerful, authentic, detailed and brilliant sound at a fair price. If it is still available in your country, grab it! EDIT: https://youtu.be/b2ZI6UncIYg 😉
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth speaker for home audio ->Guys, don't believe this Oluv disciple's fairy tales. The UBOOM X sounds fantastic with custom EQs that allow it to be perfectly adapted to spatial conditions and personal preferences. It sounds great on its own, in stereo (TWS), indoors, outdoors, at low volume, at medium and high volume, in small rooms, in large rooms, in reverberant rooms, in muffled rooms, with acoustic music, with electronic music, with hard rock and metal, with jazz and classical music and so on ...
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth speaker for home audio ->Unfortunately, I can't comment on that. The first Bluetooth speaker I bought was the Xiaomi Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker (16W), which I got for less than €20 in 2021. It was good value for money, but I quickly upgraded to the Soundcore Motion Boom. I've been using two EarFun UBOOM X speakers for over a year now, which together cost me less than €200. The best Bluetooth speaker purchase of my life! I'm still absolutely thrilled with them, and no other Bluetooth speaker has tempted me to buy it so far.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Hownis charge 6 for room use? ->Congratulations to OP for finding a Bluetooth speaker that perfectly suits his needs. It was obviously not an easy journey for him. I can relate to some things in his multi-review, but not others. I would also like to briefly refer to a comment made by the saxophonist, who lives on a boat and frequently talks excessively about his immense collection of various wireless speakers. I can only stare blankly in disbelief at comments such as, "The Tribit Lava sounds good, but the UBOOM X doesn't," or, "The Soundcore 2 Plus and the Boom 2 sound good, but the UBOOM X doesn't." While the UBOOM X may not be as powerful as the JBL Boombox 3, it has more than enough power for many applications and offers a full sound with an excellent audio quality. It's more compact, lighter, and significantly cheaper than the JBL Boombox 3 or 4. The UBOOM X is an attractive option for those who use a speaker on the go and don't require extreme loudness. It's also ideal for those who want to enjoy music on their speaker even at low volumes. Those who don't recognize its quality either have little experience with authentic hi-fi sound or used it incorrectly.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • JBL Boombox 4: My End-Game Boombox ->I don't think the speakers you have in mind are powerful enough for your application. I would at least choose a speaker from the boombox class, such as the W-King X20, the Tribit StormBox Blast 1 or 2, or, if you can still get it, an EarFun UBOOM X, which offers the best value for money. The Soundcore Boom 2 Plus/Pro is quite light, but I deliberately put it at the bottom of my list.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Gym speaker ->For similar events, I use two EarFun UBOOM X in TWS. I would also place the speakers by the nets, but on the outside. Two speakers give you a completely different sound impression compared to a single one.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best 360 Degree Sound For Indoor Tennis Event? ->Forget the Megaboom 4, it doesn't even come close to the UBOOM X. If the UBOOM X is no longer available in your country, alternatives are the Tribit StormBox Blast 1 or 2, the JBL Boombox 3, the W-King X20 or the Zealot ZE21 in the boombox class. Interesting party boxes are the Onn Large Party Speaker, the TRONSMART Halo 300, the W-King T12 or the JBL Partybox 120, 320, 520, 720.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best 360 Degree Sound For Indoor Tennis Event? ->If you want it to be easy to transport, then check out the EarFun UBOOM X.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Advice ->The dance group is surely also enthusiastic about good audio quality. In this respect, the UBOOM X certainly has more to offer than the Turtelbox. But when it comes to volume, you can't compare a Bluetooth speaker with a PA system, of course. EDIT: If you're not on a tight budget, I recommend buying a pair of speakers and pairing them in TWS mode. This will give you a higher overall volume. And I'm sure I don't need to explain the other advantages of a stereo setup to you.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Advice ->My pair of PartyBox 120s are my fav. I also have a pair of JBL flip 6s and pair of UboomXs
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What's your favorite stereo pair of Bluetooth speakers? ->The battery isn't the best but I love the bass. I tried the Earfun uboom x too- I'll say it's the the best bass for the money. It's better than soundcore boom 2 imo
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Punchiest bass on home/portable speaker? 2025 ->That must be really annoying. With the Bose Soundlink Max, I've also often read that the battery drains itself. With the Soundcore Motion Boom, which I have used for over two years, and with my two EarFun UBOOM Xs, which I have been using for a good 3 months, I have never noticed that the battery loses charge when not in use.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Which wireless speaker best holds charge when not in use? ->Take a look at the UBOOM X in particular, which is currently the best value for money in the small boombox class.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Which wireless speaker best holds charge when not in use? ->In terms of price, [this](https://www.amazon.com/EarFun-Bluetooth-JumboBass-Waterproof-PowerBank/dp/B0D53P1PQ8) it is in the middle of the two and in terms of sound, it is at a significantly higher level than the Charge 5. I would advise against the Treblab. It is not a product worth recommending.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Which portable bluetooth speaker for background music, 40-person dinner party? ->I have never heard another Bluetooth speaker that has such audiophile hi-fi sound as the EarFun UBOOM X. But it's not a designer speaker. You have to ask yourself where you are willing to compromise, on looks or on sound. I myself have a high-quality hi-fi system in my living room and am a music lover, but the sound of the UBOOM X, which I use in the bathroom, also regularly brings a smile to my face. Here's a sound comparison with a high-priced designer speaker from a luxury brand: [https://youtu.be/yt9X287XsC8](https://youtu.be/yt9X287XsC8)
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth speaker for vinyl recommendations ->The EarFun UBOOM X has a generally very good sound quality, which is particularly characterized by the authentic reproduction of instruments and vocals. At four kilos, it is one of the smaller speakers in the boombox class. If this size is not an obstacle for you, then this is one of the best recommendations.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Portable BT Speaker-Music & TV? ->Hahaha, I can tell you, this thing is a big chunk. When I held it in my hand for the first time, I also thought it was far too big. But the sound quality is so outstanding that once you walk through that door, there's no going back. You'll be lugging four kilos everywhere with you without a murmur, because it's worth it. You can read more about my experiences with the speaker here: [https://www.reddit.com/r/Bluetooth\_Speakers/comments/1i6uwtf/comment/m8fvf0i/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Bluetooth_Speakers/comments/1i6uwtf/comment/m8fvf0i/)
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Portable BT Speaker-Music & TV? ->For this purpose and your price range, I can recommend the EarFun UBOOM X from my own experience, which is available for around $120. Thanks to the EQ, it can be perfectly adjusted for the situation in a small bathroom. I use it almost every day and am delighted with it. [Here ](https://ibb.co/1v6XFDX)it is, sitting on my bathroom cabinet. In the photo you can still see my old Soundcore Motion Boom next to it, which I'm currently trying to sell. With the UBOOM X I have almost as good a sound in the bathroom as with my audiophile hi-fi system in the living room.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best waterproof Bluetooth speaker of all prices for shower? ->With the UBOOM X, EarFun has brought a really exceptionally good Bluetooth speaker onto the market. If you have the opportunity, you should definitely give it a listen.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best waterproof Bluetooth speaker of all prices for shower? ->If that's the case, forget the UBOOM X, it's clearly too big for that.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best waterproof Bluetooth speaker of all prices for shower? ->If its size and a weight of 4 kg are not an obstacle, I recommend the EarFun UBOOM X. Soundwise on a similar level to a JBL Boombox 3, but cheaper than a JBL Charge 5. The EarFun UBOOM X is a powerful and superb sounding speaker with by far the best price/performance ratio currently available. In terms of performance, it is one step above the Boom 2. Here is a brief sound comparison. Please use headphones and don't be put off by the somewhat strange presentation of the video. r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Portable bluetooth speaker recommendations for someone who enjoys bass ->It's no longer a secret, but it's possible that not everyone knows about this fantastic Bluetooth speaker that sounds way above its price tag. Check out the EarFun UBOOM X.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth Speaker for Car Use in 2024? ($200US or less) ->Neither in real life nor here on Reddit does everyone agree on a topic. This is especially true when it comes to Bluetooth speakers. But at least I agree with the previous commentator. 😂 It is a fact and would stand up to any comparison that the EarFun UBOOM X is currently the best you can get for around €100 in terms of sound quality and also as a complete package. If you can cope with the weight and size, then that's the way to go! If you're in the US, there's a very interesting new discovery that sits between the UBOOM X and the Soundcore Boom 2 in terms of performance and size, but is currently available for just under $40. Its value for money is out of this world: [https://amzn.to/3EiZCJC](https://www.youtube.com/redirect?event=video_description&redir_token=QUFFLUhqbS1jeXRYczRkQ0NyR0ZneU1CT2Vmd1M5dENEd3xBQ3Jtc0trQXNjM0RoMVJuRm16U0F0VDI4aUlhWVVCaWdfelVEZ2Frd2c0NVhiWmNjazZSN2hRWFRTZ3Z5dzhXTXctYm44c0F5NHlKZmlhWVo3cHRRMVVSZFN4RThNYlBYN2Z3OGFBV0FDTGZaR0h1MHZySGlwYw&q=https%3A%2F%2Famzn.to%2F3EiZCJC&v=0M9aNG5Tb1o) [Sound comparison ZZA K8 vs Soundcore Boom 2](https://youtu.be/0M9aNG5Tb1o) [Sound comparison Earfun Uboom X vs ZZA K8](https://youtu.be/YS7zQaaiG3c) Unfortunately, the ZZA K8 is not available at anywhere near such attractive conditions in Europe, where I live. Otherwise I would certainly have already secured a batch of several speakers. 😁
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Which speaker should i get ->The EarFun UBOOM X currently offers by far the best price/performance ratio. It has a very high sound quality, comparable to the JBL Boombox 3 or the Sony ULT Field 7, but it is noticeably smaller and lighter and costs less than a JBL Charge. In terms of overall sound, the UBOOM X is comparable to a small hi-fi system and costs just over 100 dollars. So for your budget, you could easily buy two UBOOM Xs and use them in the TWS as a stereo system if you had the space. Please note that two speakers in stereo sound more than twice as good as one, and that music only really comes to life with a wide soundstage.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Budget indoor speakers with great sound quality ->As I've written many times before, in my opinion the EarFun UBOOM X is by far the best overall package at the moment. You can read about my experience with the UBOOM X here: [https://www.reddit.com/r/Bluetooth\_Speakers/comments/1j6xehj/comment/mh4pp2p/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Bluetooth_Speakers/comments/1j6xehj/comment/mh4pp2p/)
r/WirelessSpeakers • Best portable speaker (best sound) ->I know there's no accounting for taste. But I'm surprised that anyone could find the UBOOM X ugly. The thing is straightforward and simple in design. You could say it looks boring, it's not a designer piece, it looks cheap in photos, but I really don't understand what's ugly about it. I regularly have one in the bathroom. This is what it looks like: [https://ibb.co/bg7QMgP0](https://ibb.co/bg7QMgP0)
r/WirelessSpeakers • Best portable speaker (best sound) ->Yes, in my opinion EarFun hasn't done itself any favours with the cheap-looking lighting effects. The worst thing is that you can almost always only see the speaker in photos or videos with the lighting activated. The good thing about it is that you can deactivate it completely and it is never activated automatically when you switch on, for example. I can assure you, in reality the UBOOM X looks pretty neat. Here you can see it in comparison with various other speakers. [https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61PlQ6nf1tL.jpg](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61PlQ6nf1tL.jpg) [https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61z8-jHMHlL.jpg](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61z8-jHMHlL.jpg) [https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/714bafOIKRL.jpg](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/714bafOIKRL.jpg) You've seen the sound comparison video with the Beolit 20, right? It's strange, but in the current market situation for Bluetooth speakers, you have to decide whether you want to prioritise design or sound. A high-priced designer speaker does not automatically offer better sound. This may come as a surprise, as you can often have contrasting experiences in the classic hi-fi sector, for example.
r/WirelessSpeakers • Best portable speaker (best sound) ->I'm very curious to know how you like it. For a very neutral sound at medium to high volume, you can try out the following EQ in the EarFun Audio app under Custom Equalizer. [UBOOM X neutral sounding EQ](https://ibb.co/C5hJ7rvx)
r/WirelessSpeakers • Best portable speaker (best sound) ->A brief fact-based comparison between the Tribit Stormbox Blast 2 and the EarFun UBOOM X. The only advantages of the Blast 2 are a slightly higher maximum volume with acceptable sound, connection options for microphones (with reverb control) and the more elaborate party lighting. The UBOOM X has advantages in all other aspects. It can produce a deeper bass and a better overall sound quality, i.e. a more linear frequency response, better clarity, more authentic separation and reproduction of instruments and vocals. It really does have audiophile qualities. It can be charged more quickly via USB C, a shoulder strap is included, it is noticeably smaller, lighter and significantly cheaper. It can therefore be said that the UBOOM X is the better overall package for most users. It is the speaker for music lovers. The Blast 2, on the other hand, is better suited for smaller (karaoke) parties. For a real party, however, I would prefer a JBL PartyBox 320 or something even bigger.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What is the best Big Boombox speaker? ->I can only confirm this!
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What’s the loudest speaker, with the best sound, that I can easily take on an airplane? Under $300 please. ->Of the four, definitely the Boombox 3. If money is no object in your decision and you want a branded product, it's not a bad choice. You get the best price-performance ratio with the EarFun UBOOM X. It is more compact and noticeably lighter than any of the other four, i.e. easier and more comfortable to carry around, if that is relevant for your father. In terms of sound, you make no compromises. The boombox is slightly more bass-heavy, while the UBOOM X sounds very balanced and can be adjusted very well in the app with EQs to suit different listening situations.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Help me find the right speaker ->Take a look at the UBOOM X, in terms of performance it is far superior to a JBL Charge 5 or a UE Boom 3, and unlike the JBL PartyBoxes it is IP67 dust and water protected. And for less than $250 you can even buy two and use both in TWS mode depending on your application. This could be a really interesting speaker for your needs.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What is the best wireless bluetooth speaker? (outdoor & paties) ->It's about time those nasty rabble-rousers who have been calling everyone a shill or bot who has spoken positively about or recommended the UBOOM X finally acknowledge it's a truly great speaker. This is being confirmed by more and more people here in the subreddit, including myself.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best boombox speaker ->Check the EarFun UBOOM X. Small is of course relative. Let's put it this way, the UBOOM X is relatively small compared to your car and definitely great! 😉
r/Bluetooth_Audiophile • Best portable Bluetooth speaker for car recs ->As an alternative to the Tribit Stormbox Blast 2, you should also take a look at the EarFun UBOOM X. A brief fact-based comparison: The only advantages of the Blast 2 are a slightly higher maximum volume with acceptable sound, connection options for microphones (with reverb control) and the more elaborate party lighting. The UBOOM X has advantages in all other respects. It can produce deeper bass and better overall sound quality, i.e. a more linear frequency response, better clarity, more authentic separation and reproduction of instruments and vocals. It has truly audiophile qualities. It's faster to charge via USB C, it comes with a shoulder strap, it's noticeably smaller, lighter and, depending on what's on offer, only costs about half as much. Or in other words, for the same money you could buy two UBOOM X and use them in TWS. Two speakers in stereo sound more than twice as good as just one and really bring music to life with their wide sound stage. So you could say that the UBOOM X is the better overall package for most users. It is the speaker with the best price-performance ratio and is equally suitable for music lovers and smaller parties. The Blast 2, on the other hand, is only better suited for smaller karaoke parties. For a really big party, however, I would prefer one/two JBL PartyBox 320 or something even bigger.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • I'm looking for a bass speaker up to 300$. ->Yes, it can reproduce lower frequencies better.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • I'm looking for a bass speaker up to 300$. ->Again, for the record, the EarFun UBOOM X, is exactly what you're looking for. It is more compact and noticeably lighter than the Boombox 2 but performs at a comparable level - both in terms of volume and bass performance. In addition, you get a much more neutral, brilliant and hi-fi like sound. And the price is outrageously attractive. With the UBOOM X, you don't have to sacrifice anything. The only thing you lose is a little weight and a brand name. 😉
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Looking for a Smaller Alternative to JBL Boombox 2 with Similar Power & Bass ->It was exactly the same for me, except that I bought two. 😉
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • The truth about the Earfun UBoom X and my part ->It was thanks to you that I became aware of this great speaker in the first place. Thank you for that and for your part in it. 🙏
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • The truth about the Earfun UBoom X and my part ->The JBL Boombox 3 offers more power overall than the Brane X and the Authentics 500. Alternatively, you could also go for the Earfun UBOOM X, which performs at a similar level to the Boombox 3, but is not only more compact and lighter, but also cheaper. For your budget, you could easily buy two for a stereo setup. If you have enough space in the garage, which I assume you do, you could distribute the sound much better in the room with two speakers. The difference is huge, with a wide stereo stage the music really comes to life and fills the whole room.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What’s the best garage speaker? ->With the EarFun UBOOM X, you get an incredibly huge upgrade in terms of sound. But the speaker is big and heavy. Check out the specs! I have never heard another Bluetooth speaker with such audiophile hi-fi sound. But it's not a designer speaker. You have to ask yourself where you are willing to compromise, on looks or on sound. I myself have a high-quality hi-fi system in my living room and am a music lover, but the sound of the UBOOM X, which I use in the bathroom, also regularly brings a smile to my face.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Bose soundlink max or Marshall middleton ->Some pretty strange recommendations have been made here so far. With the EarFun UBOOM X, you undoubtedly get the best sound for your money. I compared it individually and as a stereo pair with my hi-fi system at home. And we tested them in a friend's music studio. [https://ibb.co/3rHmRRT](https://ibb.co/3rHmRRT) Of course, they weren't on a par with the $3000 ATC SCM 16 monitors and the ADAM Audio Sub12, nor with my Canton Ergo RC-L floorstanding speakers, but they performed damn well up to a medium volume level. And that's saying something. The UBOOM X is not a speaker that sounds good for its price, but a speaker that sounds sensationally good for a portable Bluetooth speaker. It has hi-fi qualities and it's a pleasure to sit in front of it and consciously listen to music. This thing sounds so good that it regularly puts a grin on your face. I don't know the space conditions in your room. For your budget of 250 $, you could also buy two UBOOM Xs and use them in TWS as a stereo system. Please note, two speakers in stereo sound more than twice as good as one and the music only really comes to life with a wide sound stage. The UBOOM X is far superior in terms of sound to the three speakers mentioned in you post headline. I can't understand how anyone can still recommend the Tribit Stormbox Blast 1 today. Most people who have heard both speakers, like me, see the UBOOM X as having advantages in overall sound quality and it also has a deeper and more powerful bass. In addition, the Blast 1 is noticeably larger and heavier, cannot be charged via USB C but requires a power adapter, has no shoulder strap and is more expensive. So what's in its favor? The comparison between the EarFun Uboom X and the Tribit Stormbox Blast 2 is more interesting: The advantages of the Blast 2 are a slightly higher maximum volume with acceptable sound, connection options for microphones (with reverb control) and the more elaborate party lighting. So you could say that the UBOOM X is the better overall package for most users. It is the speaker with the best price-performance ratio and is equally suitable for music lovers and smaller parties. The Blast 2, on the other hand, is only better suited for smaller karaoke parties.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Bose soundlink flex 2 vs jbl charge 5 vs soundcore boom ->I've literally only ever owned one other Bluetooth speaker, the Altec Lansing mini lifejacket 3. I could tell immediately after listening to the u-boom x that it's not an audiophile speaker, and it's insane that somebody would make that claim. The fact that it sounds like complete ass without a total overhaul of the DSP and hella EQing is a pretty good indicator that this is a software solution for a hardware problem. That being said, I got one last week for $150 canadian, and I'm over the moon with the value. I can't imagine getting anything close to this level of performance of another speaker, for this price. Many of the YouTube reviews I watched were comparing it to the JBL Boombox 3, which retails for about $570 Canadian and was on sale on Prime for $399. And while I believe it's probably a much nicer speaker with much better sound, in more conditions, with more daily driver functionality, I feel like I'd still be more pleased with the sound from the u-boom at this price point. Also, until I got this in my hands I didn't realize the scale of these. That JBL must be bloody massive...lol
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Uboomx is not a Unicorn ->Tried the U boom X and seems like a decent speaker. Much better than my onyx 7. Similarly priced in India. Give it a listen. Best part about it is the Eq i usually use Studio for the stable audio and its fucking rugged man. Looking to get another, only on sale tho. The speaker will go Boom boom if you want it to its very bass heavy.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Absolute best speaker under $400? ->The UBOOM X does indeed rock. It's a great budget option for something that gets nice and loud, has quality EQ options, and some cool RGB party lights. Check my review if you want to learn more about it! Cheers.
