Electro Voice Everse 8, got to play a set with a couple of those in a small after party, huge sound for such a small speaker and amazing sound quality. Plus they have battery and are also Bluetooth speakers
I’ve borrowed an Everse 8 from a friend several times. That’s a bad ass little speaker. Definitely on my wishlist
I’m a big fan of the EV Everse 8’s - great battery life, handle on top for easy carrying, good optional accessories, good clean sound w EQ on a app which comes in clutch, RCA, XLR or 1/4” inputs, pole mountable but also shaped to point up like a monitor speaker sideways and straight up but leaned back.
I literally just bought the everse 12 today
No idea.. the 12 can.. I hope
I'm a DJ, so mine will be extra by comparison. That said, Everse 8 is the best addition I've made to my speakers ever. It has 3 separate bluetooth cards so you can stream audio, connect to the speaker for great sound control. It "only" weighs 16 pounds, so I've taken it to the beach, etc. with a backpack style tote. Swappable batteries...the list goes on and on.
I used to sell these speakers. If its just for background noise/ backyard and nothing exceeding that then the Apx12 is good if you dont want to break the bank. If you got money to spend then the everse-8 and the everse-12 will be better ( Basically are slightly enhanced ZLX speakers with a battery ).
As a few other people in here mentioned also. The Thump-Go is a solid option too and has a pairing feature for 2 speakers( for bluetooth ) and the Bose S1 is basically identical to a certain degree to the Everse-8

yes. Just want 2 of them. i run a ot of ceremonies off one. Upto like 100 people if chairs are close
Everse 8 is best thing since sliced bread. 🍞
The 12 must be great…. If it’s anything like the 8
Everse8 fits in a backpack and the battery lasts forever. Dont bother with minirigs…
Small budget and small footprint (110-200 bucks) my favorite is the Anker Soundcore Motion Boom Plus. Larger budget and larger footprint (500 bucks +) I second the Elektrovoice Everse 8. I'm not a big fan of the JBL partyboxes, pretty large for the not-so-impressive sound.
