"JBL app support! This was huge for me. As soon as I turned on the device and connected, I downloaded the app and it connected right away and prompted for a firmware update! Thanks to the app support you could also change the eq to a setting that you desire. Since I tried and fell in love with the JBL signature eq settings, I just left it at that."

caddfunk 1.0Gen 3 B&O is out now but, I'm still rocking the 2nd Gen for potable great sound, and it's good enough for under $140 on Amazon renewed, and I'm using my JBL Partybox Club 120 for my whole home theater setup in my Den connected to my JBL Clip 5, and a JBL Go 4 linked in Auracast and it works well all together!
Cup_Of_Ambition 1.0I recently got the JBL Clip 5, noticeably better then my Klein AEPJS2. Depending on the site, the M12 comes out though. The AEPJS3 and M18 Bluetooth Jobsite Speaker stay at home, I definitely have a speaker collecting problem lol. If the whole gang is cool, the 2 speakers above can be linked with others.

Greenmooseleg 1.0Charge has more bass. Flip is lighter more portable. One of my favorite speaker of all time is the JBL Clip 4. But the 5 is better because the power button doesn’t get hit by accident like the 4. Smaller speaker but it sounds great and extremely portable and great battery life.
GsNp 1.0I would definitely return it. I'm on my first foray into bluetooth speakers and got the JBL Clip 5 cause it was on sale at Microcenter, but the sound got distorted a lot and was terrible. Heard about the Costco sale and went in yesterday, I am beyond happy with the sound and quality the Soundcore Boom V2 has. The bass for such a small speaker is amazing. I haven't pushed it to 100% yet to see if it sounds terrible.
