"battery lasts me forever, I charge it once a week and I game every day."

"16 days battery life on my fenix. ... The other aspect I really appreciate about my fenix is the battery life. 16 days or so. With everything I have to change these days (laptops, mice, keyboards, headphones, watches, phones), I appreciate not having to worry about it too often."

"Oh, and the battery lasts days even when exercising a lot (weeks without excercise)."

"Back to back in my opinion they blow the airpods pro 2 out of the water in clarity, separation, and punch."

"these have the deepest, cleanest and "tumpiest" bass out there."

"The gemini 2s 5hz frequency response is incredible. Granted not audible, but you can feel it in certain music."

"The JBL partybox series have zero delay - if you plug into the daisy chain port"

"I have a JBL Partybox 110 and you can daisy chain speakers with it, works very well with my testing."

"Also when you join the max with the flex in party mode there is a noticeable delay between each speaker which you don’t get with the JBL."

"one Minirig3 became faulty, so got a refund instead of a replacement due to the really buggy app connectivity for wireless stereo play. ... The bugginess of the app for the minirig3 is very well documented"

"They can be tricky to pair in stereo if you want to use them with more than one device but the sound is amazing."

"For example I believe some of the JBL PartyBoxes have lag on the aux in but not on the daisychain as that bypasses the DSP :)"

"not very loud ... can't get really really loud"

"none of these will be ideal for filling such a large space with sound. ... The Encores get slightly louder IIRC and sound better at high volumes (given the area you're looking to fill, you'll probably be using them close to max volume)."

"That said, the JBL does get significantly louder overall, so if you plan to use it primarily in large spaces like gymnasiums or outside, then the JBL would probably be worth the extra cost."

r/Bluetooth_SpeakersThe Best Bluetooth Speaker Right Now? Recommendation?

I mean for the big speakers a partybox 210 is like okay (also speakers of the same size usually sound very similar), 310 is the best for medium sized rooms and anything above is practically not needed. For the medium sized ones, a boombox 3, charge 4/5/6 are pretty good cost/sound sound variants. For the smaller/little ones it's hard to choose, since you usually can't get much bass out of them. I chose mine by the specs and knowledge. JBL has been around for years and has developed a pretty huge ecosystem of syncing tws clear sounding speakers. Although they're pretty pricey, I think most of their speakers are worth it. How to choose: Ratings/comments under product Specs (Size, wattage and speaker range. The lower it goes, the better it usually is.) Price: must not be overpriced. The less rgb the lower the price (usually (not talking about partyboxes rn))

Yep but this is ment to be a party speaker not full fledge portable and take everywhere. Mostly ment for taking around the house and putting it on your porch and stuff but still could be better.

Actually, the 310 has more and deeper bass. People say it in their experience and you can also check and compare on rtings.com

I already have 2x520 (just bought the second one, open box, for 500) and one 310 from way back. When I heard two speakers playing together I actually thought that 2x310 or 2x320 would be enough for everything. I just wasn't sure if there was a difference between 310 and 320. Now I plan to get another 310 for cheap for indoors. For outdoors it's 520 or 720, definitely, but they are too loud for indoors - 310 just sounds better and tighter.

Yes, it’s got better lights, better sound, better bass, better eq, better interface, better wheels, better button mapping, it’s even backwards compatible where it can connect to the Encore Essential, 110, 310, and 710 through the app, and it can pair with the JBL Partylight since it’s got auracast. Trust me, I have bought the 310 5 times and returned it 4 times and sold the other one on April 23rd to get the Stage 320 and I have never looked back. From my experience the 320 is much better.

The PB310 has been the ultimate music companion. Use it almost everyday for movies/shows. Bring it to the cottage, gatherings. Im bringing both to my wedding for PA and MC use. It basically replaces the home theatre in a box, replaces the need to rent PA equipment, replaces the need to keep the truck running at tailgating/camping dance gigs

r/Bluetooth_SpeakersPortable bluetooth speaker recommendations for someone who enjoys bass
11 months ago

I’m looking to buy a new portable bluetooth speaker with some solid bass and pretty clear sound. I’m not an audiophile by any means but can tell the difference between quality sound. I have tried several bluetooth speakers in the past such as the beats pill, jbl flip 6, jbl charge 5, sonos move 2, treblab hd 360, and jbl party box 310. Out of the ones i’ve tried, the sonos move is my favorite in terms of size, design and sound. the jbl party box obviously sounds the best for me in terms of bass but is a bit too big for me. the other speakers I have tried were too small/ lacked the clean bass I like. I really enjoy the sound of those two speakers because it is very clear and solid sounding with pounding bass without sounding cheap. what would be a solid speaker for me to buy preferably something portable, durable, has solid bass, and under $400? Also, i am not someone who really cares about having a flat balanced sound signature or accurate sound and all that. if it sounds good and solid then i like it. i guess i prefer the sound signature of companies like sonos, jbl, and harmon kardon. it would also be useful to mention that i usually listen to rap, hip hop, trap, pop, rnb, and stuff like that. that may be why i prefer the speakers that i do since these music genres usually have a lot of bass/treble.

Thanks for those clarifications. In that case, I've got 3 suggestions for you. First, the JBL Boombox 3. Great all-around speaker, sounds good, well-suited to the outdoors, and easy to carry with one hand. This will give you the least hassle when it comes to transportation, and it's very sturdy for outdoor use, with high dust and water resistance. Others have suggested the UE Hyperboom, and I personally think that's a great-sounding speaker, but it doesn't have a dust-resistance rating, which might be an issue when taking it to the beach. If you need a bit more oomph, both in terms of loudness and bass impact, then consider either the JBL PartyBox 310 or the JBL PartyBox Stage 320. TBH, these perform similarly enough that you can just get whichever is cheaper. But both these weigh a little over 35 lbs, compared to the 15 lbs the JBL Boombox 3 weighs. And they're not quite as well-rated for water resistance, and neither is rated for dust-resistance, which might be important if you're going to the beach.

r/Bluetooth_SpeakersAre there any bluetooth speakers that allow you to also plug an instrument directly in?

as others have mentioned, the jbl partybox series is great for this. hard to go wrong with them. but there are good models from sony and bose that offer similar features, too. you'll want to search for things like 'best karaoke speakers' or 'best Bluetooth pa speaker' to get an idea for what's out there.

\+1 for another speaker so you get true stereo. That makes a bigger different than you'd think. If that's not enough, buy as much JBL PartyBox as you can afford...
