Ive been using the xboom Grab for hiking and disc golf. The battery life lasts longer than most portable speakers under $200 IMO, think I grabbed mine on sale for like $170. One thing Id add is that its durability and splash resistance make it perfect for unpredictable outdoor use (I tend to drop things pretty frequently).

LG xboom grab. Its compact, legit sounds way bigger than it looks, and handles both rain and quick dunks with no issue. The battery life lasts over 8 hours. Probably the best speaker for great sound and carry-anywhere convenience.

i've used the lg xboom grab but saw the stage 301 at a store once. it's like angled up from the floor, kinda different setup. might work for what you're doing? think it was around your budget but not sure.

under 300 the lg xboom grab and bounce are both solid picks. grab is smaller and easier to carry, bounce has longer battery and fuller sound if you don’t mind the extra size.

lg xboom grab hits hard for edm. heard it at a friend's place and those drops sounded nasty in a good way. waterproof too if you need it for parties

maybe suggest the lg xboom grab. it has a decent app with eq controls so they can dial down the bass, and placement on a shelf or with some padding under it can also help reduce the low end carrying through.

got the lg xboom grab as my first speaker without knowing much and pretty happy with it. honestly can't judge sound quality that well, but it fits in a small bag and light enough to carry everywhere.

i've got the lg xboom grab and use it in my backyard sometimes. bass is good enough for me lol. if you want something stronger though, lg has other stuff in the lineup like the bounce or stage 301 that might work better for what you're looking for.

got the lg xboom grab without knowing much. accidentally spilled water on it once and freaked out but it was totally fine. they say it's waterproof but didn't expect it to actually hold up like that. pretty happy with how durable it is.

i was looking at xiaomi speakers too but ended up going with the lg xboom grab. build quality feels more solid in hand and it's been reliable so far. hits around 50W like you're looking for.

i've had the lg xboom grab for a while and the sound quality is honestly better than i expected for the price. i don't leave it on all the time but one charge gets me through the whole weekend easily.

I would also recommend LG xboom Grab because it has well-balanced sound and long battery life. I kinda get annoyed when speakers are dangling while I drive or roll-around, but this one fits in one of the bult-in cup holders so it's great! I purchased it after my favorite youtuber reviewed it, so leaving a link just in case you're interested. the lg xboom grab could work for that, small and light but still gets surprisingly loud for its size.

If you’re just getting your first Bluetooth speaker, I’d say give the LG XBOOM Grab a look. I’ve been using it both indoors and outdoors, and it’s held up pretty well! Sound is clear and surprisingly punchy for the size. One thing I really like is that you can tweak the EQ through the LG ThinQ app, which is nice if you’re picky about sound. It’s splash-resistant, so it’s been fine outside. Overall, solid for the price.

Nice vid! Have you tried any LG XBOOM speakers? The Grab, Bounce, and Stage 301 are pretty solid for their price ranges.

For a boat speaker, the LG XBOOM Grab is a solid pick. It’s portable, sounds good, and the water resistance makes it hold up well outdoors.

I have an xboom Grab and the battery life is really good. It's always been able to get loud enough for me and if your goal is to ward off animals then it definitely has the volume for that. It can double as a power bank if necessary too so that can be nice for camping trips if you run out of juice.

Like most speakers in that range, it will start to lose some quality if you pump it up too high but I've never needed to blast it. It's always sounded pretty clean and full even when i do push it up to like 70%.

i've tried the lg xboom grab and it checked most of your boxes decent bass, good battery, and easy to move around. if you want more power for bigger spaces, the bounce is worth looking at too. both should fit your budget.

jbl's solid but i've been using the lg xboom grab. there's construction going on in front of my house and it still sounds clear even with all that noise, so it gets loud enough

yeah for outdoor use i'd go with the xboom grab. it has a very rugged build, and the battery life is much better than the sony, as already mentioned. it also has a more balanced sound, which is nice to have.

LG xboom Grab. It’s IP67 rated so it’s waterproof and resistant to dust and sand. its like 10 hours on a single charge, and has a built-in strap for outdoors. It’s a solid choice if you want something durable and portable without breaking the bank acc.

yeah kitchens are definitely a tough environment for speakers. haven't used it specifically in a kitchen, but the lg xboom grab seems like it'd be a good fit for what you need. i actually upgraded from a soundcore 1 myself and it's a noticeable step up in sound quality. my neighbor's lawnmower is crazy loud and this thing cuts right through it size is about the size of a brick so easy to place anywhere. durability's probably solid — i haven't beaten mine up too much but it's got some water resistance so splashes in a kitchen shouldn't be an issue. for under $100 it's a pretty good upgrade from the soundcore 1.

ah man saw this late lol but lg xboom grab or bounce would've been solid too honestly. similar vibe to what you got, good bass and sound. but hey you already got the bose so you're good!

Depends on what you want! LG Xboom lineup. Bounce is better if you like bass-heavy tracks, grab is great for portability, and Stage 301 is the one to go for when you want it loud outdoors.
