"amazing battery (literally all day at work without going into the case)"

"Ok it's great I had them playing for more than 6 hrs with ANC and they didn't die ... Soundcore says about 10hrs and I think it's pretty true you can at least get 8 hrs without ANC and with ANC I reckon at least 7 hrs. ... The case can charge UpTo 3 times and combined Anker says 40 hrs of play time which I think is pretty accurate."

"Long-lasting! Swear! Hahaha. Halos everyday ko siyang gamit and once a week ko lang siya need i-charge"

"superb sound quality when paired to my OnePlus 8T & using LDHC"

"kinda the loudest and best quality mini speaker system you can get"

"the minirig is the smallest thing you can get that can output that kind of sound ... Anything the same size will either... lack volume"

"I am a power lineman, so I needed a rugged watch that could get banged around, be exposed to energized high voltage, and very harsh conditions. The TREX has worked flawlessly through all that."

"Altimeter and barometer and compass (ABC). More butch design and more shock, cold, heat dust and dirt resistant. Feature set more for stuff INCLUDING running. More suited backpacking and hiking which I've used it for a fair bit. Great tool watch"

"it’s super durable. ... The watch clasp has gotten scratched up but the face is still fine after nearly a year of climbing inside with it. ... instinct is very durable"

"If you want portable that you can take outdoors and get wet, check out the Bose Soundlink Max and Soundlink Flex. I have the flex and take it paddleboarding and camping and love it! Bonus: it floats!"

"they are by far the loudest small size speakers"

"The 4 sounds phenomenal given it's size - if I put it next to my hifi speakers you wouldn't realise that the sound was coming from that little cylinder rather than the hifi"

"I personally felt the bass was pretty anemic on it and I'm not a bass-head. ... Less bass than the ER2xr, Blessing 2, Blessing 2 Dusk, IE 200 etc. ... Very thin sounding. ... They have less bass than the Moondrop Blessing 2. ... They have less bass than the Etymotic ER2xr. ... They have less bass than the Sennheiser IE200. ... Just not enough bass and I"m no bass-head."

r/Bluetooth_SpeakersSo far, the best speaker I’ve owned
about 2 months ago

I have 2x minirig3 and 2x minirig subwoofers. It sounds incredible... but not as portable and convenient when setting up 4 devices with cables connecting each device. I've been debating if I should reduce it down to 2 devices for stereo... I'm wondering how it compares to the bluetooth speakers you mentioned?

I think the minirig has the highest decibels to size ratio you can get, not sure how long the battery will last if you’re using it on a higher volume level though. I have two minirig 3s and they are incredibly impressive speakers

It’s honestly hard to grasp how loud it can get given its size, it doesn’t look like it should be able to get anywhere near as loud as it can. I’m not sure about specific model comparisons, but it is louder and maintains better sound quality than many of its larger competitors. They aren’t cheap, but if budget isn’t an issue you can get two and pair them together, and even get a subwoofer to have a whole 2.1 system that stays fairly portable with the right carrying setup

MiniRigs hands down. Listening to them now. Always an amazing experience. Do yourself a favor and spend an extra $150 and get yourself the 2.1 setup with the sub. You will not regret it one bit.

Finicky sometimes but you can always connect them. Well worth it as a minor hiccup. I have the M3s. The M4s might be better

I love the sound profile of the Minirigs myself. 2 x Minirig 3s in stereo and I'm all good.  I'd say every portable speaker is going to have some compromises though. So your best sounding speaker will depend what kind of music you most enjoy listening to...

The downvotes are always cause the Minirigs are fiddly. Mine are too. That's why I hesitate to recommend them to people.  They are the best sound I've heard in bluetooth speakers though - not to mention sick af in design aesthetic. 😜 After using Minirigs for the better part of 4 years I've got a system that makes them solid enough for me now... but still, I wouldn't begrudge anybody for downvoting a suggestion to use Minirigs because there's a decent chance they've had their own horrible experience with them!

Why wouldn’t they auto connect? I have Minirig 3s and they auto connect with my iPhones and androids even in TWS.

Minirigs are the GOAT imo. Absolutely no latency over AUX and very low latency over Bluetooth. Insane battery life, very sturdy build quality and come with their own cases for portability. You can buy several and rig them together over aux or Bluetooth for stereo playback, and they even have a portable sub that goes down to I think 35hz. The bass on the regular speakers is perfectly adequate for anything that doesn’t rely on sub bass e.g. dubstep. The sound quality in general is incredibly clear and blows most other portable speakers I’ve used out of the water. They’re a great company too. I had an issue with one and sent it back - customer service was responsive, they paid for the shipping and made the whole process about as quick and easy as it could’ve been. I have two tweeters and the sub and they’ve been an amazing investment for live performance in off-stage situations. They’re pricey but will last far, far longer than your average UE BOOM-style speaker.

I don't know the exact specs but IMO they're pretty grunty and can easily fill a small room on high gain. I have the 3s but see they've just released 4s that are even more powerful. I used to chuck one in the compartment between the front and passenger seats and it was great for podcasts and music with a clear and transparent mid/high end - but ofc a lot of the low end was lost this way. HOWEVER, add a sub directly under the driver's seat and the sound is full and MEATY. My current setup is a rig mounted on each side of the car and the sub under my seat - saved me from installing an actual system. You can also EQ/change the gain of each individual speaker with the app. The only slightly tricky thing here is connectivity. You can bluetooth the two rigs, but the sub has to be plugged in via aux. So rig 1 - bluetooth - rig 2 - aux - sub. This should be pretty simple using the app - which in theory remembers your connection settings and reboots the speakers when you re-open it, but as you can only initially connect via bluetooth when the aux port is clear, I've had to faff around with getting the two rigs to talk to one another a few times, I assume because the app has forgotten the previous configuration. Luckily the app actually offers has those configuration options on startup so it's never been difficult to fix.

MiniRig 3. Really good sound in an average room size…. You can also get a sub to boost the lows.

r/Bluetooth_SpeakersWhat’s the best Bluetooth speaker right now? any suggestion pls?

I use mine for work. I’m a decorator, it’s ideal as small and low centre of gravity. Even an extra Minirig would be a hassle, and since I only do private work I don’t really need the volume. That’s what I tell myself anyway..

M3 here too. 2.1 setup. I find the trick is to make sure you've only got one minirig paired with your device, connect to it. Switch on the second minirig which should sit there unconnected and then tell the app to set up Stereo linked mode. Then plug the sub into the first minirig and the app will prompt you to set 2.1. Should be stable after that. I've had issues in the past where I've used the button to set link-up mode and ended up with horrendous feedback/squeal. But, overall, I don't think you can beat these little beauties for sound :)

Minirig. I've got the 3. Didn't touch it for a year and it still had like 80% charge. Best sounding small speaker I've ever owned.
