"Battery charge last 8-10 hours."
"But it still sounds AMAZING. And the battery life is still delightfully robust despite years of faithful service."

"And the way it can hold on to my crappy over-crowded 2.4GHz wifi signal at ASTOUNDING distances from my house is downright mystical. ... My kids can be in the neighbours yard, outside, 200 feet from my router & still bark song requests at Alexa and IT WORKS!!"
"plays with Sonos or as Bluetooth"
"the Move/Move2 still has Bluetooth connectivity"

"I’ve had mine for 3 years now and I’ve even left it out overnight in the rain and dried it with a towel and started playing music right away."
"Our Move has had the shit kicked out of it. It’s dented & scratched & has paint flaking off of it. It’s been left out overnight in the rain multiple times. Gets chlorinated pool water all over its control surfaces, weekly."
"Good build quality"

"the sonos move is my favorite in terms of ... sound. ... I really enjoy the sound of those two speakers because it is very clear and solid sounding with pounding bass without sounding cheap."
"But when they work, they’re awesome. I bring them by the pool and the system sounds amazing"
"They are going to be better (in terms of sound quality) than most portable Bluetooth speakers unless you need/want something smaller ... sound great"

"And the portability is amazing. ... I bought it for grilling and hanging outside and being able to come inside with the same music rocking. It does that without complaint. ... The portability has been a game changer as I can place it in random rooms of my house either because I want to, or I’m trying to achieve seamless sound in multiple places."
"For people who want something to move around their house, get the Move, it ’s great."

"The Trueplay feature (room tuning) can be a little fiddly sometimes (if you have objects placed next to the speaker, for instance)"
I love my Sonos move. It makes a lot of sound, and it’s good quality. If I had the ability though I would get some wired outdoor speakers and run the wire into the house to an Airplay 2 compatible amp like the Sonos amp.
r/HomeKit • Outdoor airplay 2 speakers ->Understood. The Move is a good option. I’ve had mine for 3 years now and I’ve even left it out overnight in the rain and dried it with a towel and started playing music right away.
r/HomeKit • Outdoor airplay 2 speakers ->I have 4. Only issue I have is whenever the Sonos system gets glitchy, these seem to be the speakers most affected. Losing volume control, etc. But when they work, they’re awesome. I bring them by the pool and the system sounds amazing
r/sonos • Talk me out of buying the Move ->Not enough to tell you not to buy one, but they can be annoying sometimes.
r/sonos • Talk me out of buying the Move ->Sonos Move. If you’re looking to save money buy a Sonos Move Gen 1 either new or used.
r/HomeKit • Outdoor airplay 2 speakers ->I just bought one and love it. Great sound for what it is. And the portability is amazing. I bought it for grilling and hanging outside and being able to come inside with the same music rocking. It does that without complaint. The portability has been a game changer as I can place it in random rooms of my house either because I want to, or I’m trying to achieve seamless sound in multiple places. I was doing a project that was adjacent to my kitchen where I have to Sonos Ones. I put the move on the adjacent space. Both playing the same music, is it high fidelity, no. But it allowed me to jam out, not use ear buds, and not have to start stop music as I moved between spaces. I want another so I can have true stereo in the backyard. But one is already enough to annoy the neighbors! Maybe in the next house!
r/sonos • Why the SoundGuys complaints/review of the Move 2 is laughable (and questionably dishonest) ->100% my favorite speaker
r/sonos • Talk me out of buying the Move ->Can find a used Sonos move 1 for 140-160, and to my ear, not really a close comp in the same price range.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best BT Speaker Under $150 or Less? ->Was the worst sonos product I owned by a long shot. Returned mine to Costco and upgraded to the Move and no regrets.
r/sonos • Roam SL now $99 at Best Buy ->I’ve had it for a month. I originally dismissed it as I have the roam, but it really is good. Good build quality, no issues with setup or daily use and is a handy portable speaker that doesn’t compromise on spec.
r/sonos • Talk me out of buying the Move ->How does the Bose max compare to the Flex gen 1 and gen 2? I have a gen 1 and am looking to upgrade, use case is mostly outside in the backyard or camping, sometimes indoors when away from home. For home use I already use a Sonos Move gen 1 which has been great for me so far
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth Speaker 2025? ->Can’t talk you out of it. I have 2!
r/sonos • Talk me out of buying the Move ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
