"That beast sounds great. 360° sounding speaker ... It sound so darn good, with or without the bass up button pressed on. And so loud, if we push the volume up. No distorsion. ... everything is perfectly balanced, and if you activate the bass up button on (you get even more wonderful sound). Sounds better, deeper, louder than most speakers I've had and tried ... 70 truly watts speaker, 360° sound, Easy to carry, light weight, perfectly balanced sound midrange bass trebless high, no distortion even at full volume (be careful with your neighbors). That thing sounds like heaven!!! ... The sound does not even need adjustment, no need for adjustment. It sounds 2 times better than an xtrem 4 and a jbl boom 3 party jbl, as good as a bose model, better than harman speakers, x times better than the x king/tronsmart/zealot/tribit speakers. ... It is incredible for live performances, albums, jazz/rock/African music/Cuban/Celtic/metal/pop/country/acoustic instrumental/trap rnb etc etc etc. And even superb for watching a movie (I tried). ... I'm a multi-instrumentalist musician. I like everything in music except vulgarity and propaganda. And I can say once again, that the Soundcore Boom 2 cooks all the speaker models I've heard (even those with modified EQ etc.). ... Awesome trebles bass medium high, perfectly balanced. And i seriously mean it is perfectly balanced. It is a beast. If you want to push the volume up, all the neighbor will hear that beast. And if you want to keep the volume low it sounds magnificent like heaven. Great for everytypes of music even the live concert sounds great whatever African music, rnd, trap, cuban, classical, metal, rock, pop, country folk, fusion, jazz ect."

"Changing the EQ makes the speaker sound amazing! ... It’s fantastic out of the box, but EQ’d it’s on another level for the price. ... It really pushes the sound outside of the speaker and makes it sound much so much fuller than you’d expect from a small speaker."
"has great sound when customization of equalizer in the app so you can tailor it to your needs as far as clarity and everything goes"
"has a 9 band eq"

"Only problem is the default EQ is not very good because it just tries to emphasize the bass. ... You need to download the app and EQ it for it to sound good."
"I own the x20 also and can tell ya right now .. in my opinion anyways... that it absolutely wipes the floor with the soundcore boom 2 pro.... I haven't owned the plus version but I bought the boom 2 pro at Walmart few weeks ago for 197.99 and just not at all impressive to my ears. ... just definitely no comparison sound wise to something like my x20"
"They all did worse than the Motion+."

"THERE IS NO AUX INPUT OR OUTPUT. Anything you plug in like a microphone or music source that doesn't have bluetooth must be USB-C."

"Although it is slightly larger than my idea size for a portable speaker ... It just won't fit in a small spot."
"I returned the boom 2 and keeping the 3i. The 3i can get plenty loud and the portability compared to boom 2 is night and day."
"I don't like the bulk of the boom 2. ... I agree with the portability of the 3i vs boom 2."
Earfun Uboom L does. And it's a badass little speaker. And two of them in stereo is pretty impressive. Plenty of volume, great highs and mids and more than enough bass to get the job done well. They aren't bass monsters but they don't lack it either. I have a few sets of speakers and they are well loved, especially for he price. My Soundcore Boom 2 isy favorite right now, but only because of it's loud clear bass. Uboom L are very good speakers. They are super clear at low to medium volume, but they still hold it together at max volume. They don't distort and still sound good.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth speaker under 5k INR ->I love my Boom 2. Absolutely amazing speaker. Badass bass and everything else sounds amazing.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • JBL Charge 6 vs Soundcore Boom 2 ->Boom 2 is a safe option as in reasonable for the money without sounding amazing
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth speakers under £100 in UK ->The boom 2 has a bigger woofer , extra tweeter , and nearly double the wattage so naturally bass will be better and vocals will be louder on it. It’s also a stereo setup compared to mono from the JBL. That being said i absolutely love my charge 6
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • JBL Charge 6 vs Soundcore Boom 2 ->The soundcore boom 2 is legit. I use it daily in a FedEx truck, it’s loud, sounds good, has excellent bass and great battery life.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • I analyzed Reddit for the 25 most recommended portable bluetooth speakers in the past year (Mar 2025) ->Just nabbed it for $70 on sale and I freaking love it (it's on sale right now if u want another)
r/Costco • Speaker review: Soundcore Boom V2 Outdoor- purchased in-warehouse ->Hey could you elaborate on the 3d surround thing with your phone. Also got a boom 2 and sounds the same, no mids but decent bass
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Soundcore boom 2 is very dissapointing ->I can only speak for owning mostly soundcore gear and its done me super well. $80 ish motion+ still slaps years later with EQ bass is better than my friends pricier speakers indoor and outdoor sofar. I has good projection and a wide directionally. I haven't experience 180° (or 360°) speakers. Also a big fan of soundcore boom 1 and boom 2. Biased fan boy I've only heard 1 tribit speaker years ago that was much smaller and I didn't get to fiddle with EQ for whatever reason
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Help me choose the BEST portable speaker (BASE on your own experience) ->If you own the boom 2, try getting another boom 2 and pair it? I think that if you own a working boom 2 right now, then that's the most bass you will get with $150 possible (2 paired together) Also make absolutely sure you're trying out different custom EQs. My boom and boom 2 sounded LIFELESS before EQing
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What's your favorite bass monster with decent sound quality under $150? ->Ah fair enough! Yeah I havnt ventured into any options for the next size up. I do think the boom 1 and 2 are really special for their size, with the right eq and song it still blows my mind, but I'm glad that the bigger ones are in fact putting out real work. I havnt paired 2 boons myself actually, it was just random advice since he wants more bass for $150, and I think he already has one of them. It does sound like he'd be better off saving a little more money and shopping out larger models at the $180-$250 range, cus idk what will make him much happier than the boom 2 for $150 rn (that's really worth the difference over Boom 2 I mean)

r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What's your favorite bass monster with decent sound quality under $150? ->Full review is in the comments, it's apparently too long to post up here. Out of the box audio: 7/10 EQ'd audio: 9/10 App and presets: 6/10 Bass: 9.5/10 Portability/Outdoor: 9/10 Indoor: 7.5/10 Battery: 8/10 Compatibility (with chargers, other audio equipment, etc): 7/10 **Summary**: This is a overachieving speaker for this sale price, that is great for indoor and outdoor use. It is very intuitive to use, and only gets better the more effort you put into fine tuning the audio. The bass cannot be beaten for the size or price, and it is extremely portable. It has some convenient features like device charging and being waterproof, and some novelty ones like RGB lights and AI white noise. It's missing some of the more AV nerds features like a variety of preset EQ configurations, spatial audio, adaptive audio, and even an aux cord input. It can be described as a speaker Apple might make. Class leading in some of the basic functions, easily compatible in its ecosystem, but not offering the most premium specialized features for the hardcore audiophiles, and might require a dongle. Overall, I highly recommend this for people looking for a basic Bluetooth speaker within their budget.
r/Costco • [Review] Soundcore Boom V2 Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker On Sale $69.99 (Highly Recommend) ->**FULL REVIEW** Right now, the Soundcore Boom V2 is on sale at Costco for $69.99 (same online with free shipping to boot). If you've been looking for a speaker under $100, this is your sign to pull the trigger now. It is extremely versatile in sound, with very high sound quality after equalizing. I've seen reviews saying the Costco version doesn't allow you to import equalizer settings made by others, but I have been able to using links I found on Reddit. I'll start with the audio. There are times where it doesn't seem quite as crisp for certain things, like podcasts or classical music, but I had no issue with that after adjusting the equalizer settings. It's unfortunate it doesn't come with all that many presets, but you can download them to really unlock what this speaker has to offer [link to some preset EQs I used](https://www.reddit.com/r/Bluetooth_Speakers/s/5JrFWn6zoU). The bass is incredible. I have never seen such intense bass come out of such a light and portable speaker before. There is an option for a bass boost, and I have to keep it off while inside because it's just that strong. Right out of the box, the bass is pretty bumping, so you don't have to mess with the settings a lot of you plan to just listen to pop, rap, hip-hop, house, etc. The midranges and treble can sometimes be drowned out by the bass depending on what you're listening to. Again, you can fix this with EQ. Again, it kind of sucks there aren't more preset EQ options and you have to customize them. It does not have the feature where it senses the audio in the room and automatically adjusts, which again, means more manual adjustments. It does not have some of the settings of really advanced speakers like increase reverb or imitating surround sound to increase the soundstage and make it feel like you're in a larger (or just different) space. The speaker is quite light, at under 4lbs, making it very easy to carry around. The dimensions make it easy enough to fit in a bag you bring to the beach or the park. It has some novelty RGB lights on the side with a few cute presets. The lights can be turned off to save battery, or just to not distract you. It's rated as waterproof up to and including submersion, also touting its ability to float. There is no dust rating, which could be to keep production costs down (they have to pay for the testing and per unit sold), but could also mean it's not well protected from things like sand at the beach and dust at the park. It's safer to assume the latter. I bought mine mostly for portable indoor use, so you're not gonna catch me testing out these ratings anytime soon. The app is streamlined and intuitive. It's not overflowing with settings, but there are enough to adjust it how you would like. The app gives you an accurate battery measure to keep an eye on that. It also has some throwaway features like ambient white noise and "AI Brainwave Audio" for relaxation. It is fairly gimmicky, but I kind of like it. There are ways for you to control the bass boost and lights without the app, but the app doesn't make you create an account or anything. So why not just use the app? The charging isn't particularly fast compared to other speakers, and can take several hours to fully charge. I haven't had a chance to test out the full battery life yet, but it claims to get over 24 hours in optimal conditions (lower volume, bass not booster, and lights off). It came with a short double-sided USB-C cord and no brick. Not thrilled about that, but I guess it minimizes ways water can get in. There are only two ports, a USB-C labeled "input" and a USB Type-A (the standard one you think of when you hear "USB") labelled "IQ⚡", which I believe can act as a power bank for your devices. It allegedly has a 4900mAh battery, so probably enough to charge your phone and get through a full party. THERE IS NO AUX INPUT OR OUTPUT. Anything you plug in like a microphone or music source that doesn't have bluetooth must be USB-C. I haven't had a chance to test it, but you can apparently connect two or more of these to create stereo sound. You could connect even more if you want to carry the same music between different rooms of a party. At $69.99 per speaker, that's actually an affordable option compared to alternatives. If you would like to donate one of these to me, I can give you a full review.
r/Costco • [Review] Soundcore Boom V2 Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker On Sale $69.99 (Highly Recommend) ->Just got one from costco today, and as someone who DIY small speakers I'm 100% certain that either you got a dud or you're hearing it wrong. The only problem for me is the stock soundcore signature profile makes treble sound weird, turning that off (going to custom eq and leave it flat) alleviate this issue. There's a decent amount of mid, though stereo separation for it is absent (cause of course the singular racetrack driver is in charge of bass to mid).
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Soundcore boom 2 is very dissapointing ->I don't have the Boom 2+, so I can't comment too much on that. I have a Boom v2 from Costco, which should be the same as Boom 2. Sound wise, first the downsides: Treble is very directional, if you listen off axis you can't hear them as well as the mids and bass, making it sound somewhat more muffled. Edit: Boom 2 Plus, given the waveguide's design, may not have this problem, but I can't say for sure without listening to it in person. Mids are coming out of the shared woofer, only the treble has stereo separation, but that's better than the Charge 6 which is essentially only Mono. You do have full stereo woofers with the 2 Plus. Bass is deep for the size and price, I'll say pretty near JBL Xtreme 4 level, I measured it extending effectively to around 45Hz. Plus it should get deeper, but for the extra money and size it better be. SBC codec only, no AAC, no line in. Durability wise, I'll have to rank JBL the highest. Their fabric mesh really helps hold things together. Boom 2 Plus comes next, vanilla Boom 2 the bottom of the 3 due to the amount of plastic they used. Again, factor in the price, I'm talking just about the quality here. Boom 2 is definitely one of the best value speakers out there, and given this fact, a lot of the downsides I mentioned can be ignored.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Soundercore Boom 2 + or JBL Charge 6? Budget under CAD300 ->Boom 2. It's not as portable however
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • JBL Charge 6 vs Soundcore Boom 2 ->The Boom is almost twice the height and 50% heavier. That would have taken a fair bit of space in your suitcase and it's a whole different concept fitting it in a large suitcase v a small backpack. Like I said, anything can be portable but some things are much more convenient than others. I do agree it sounds incredible however. I own both and for ease of use I'd only travel with the charge
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • JBL Charge 6 vs Soundcore Boom 2 ->That doesn't make it easier to carry than the Charge
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • JBL Charge 6 vs Soundcore Boom 2 ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
