The Marshall emberton 3, UE everboom & epic boom are 360⁰ speakers this is subjectively worse than a forward firing speaker for soundquality.

You speaker recommendations are pretty flawed, the harman kardon go play 3 is not a out door speaker at all because of its exposed subwoofer, and no ip ratings. The motion x600 lacks deep bass, and its high-end can become fatiguing. The soundcore flare 2 and wonder boom are small and a downgrade in soundquality to the soundcore motion +. The UE wonder boom is the best speaker youve mentioned

I have had the flip and the wonder boom, the wonder boom is by far the better speaker, those things are tough, robust, lighter, easier to carry. I got the flip 6 replaced on warranty then a year later had it die again (I never top it out to work ) the wonder boom works out on a mine with me and hasn’t skipped a beat

They are meant to be small, portable speakers… they do the job for that. The wonderboom is the most portable and by far the most indestructible, I’d never buy another JBL speaker again. On a lanyard the wonderboom is so comfortable to carry around on you to compaerd to the flip which swings like crazy. I own a proper hifi system so I do appreciate good sound, but you just can’t go wrong with the wonderboom

I like the Wonderboom - it's about the size of a softball, waterproof and floats.

Nice collection of BT speaker! I see the two Wonderbooms. Did you connect them in Stereo and how did you find the sound experience in comparison to other (single) speakers? I think, connection of 2 speakers to stereo mode is quite nice an can replace a much higher rated and more expensive speaker. Maybe not in volume and power, but much more to a better sound stage.

i've had a wonderboom and i prefer the JBL or the Anker

I've had my Wonderboom for nearly a decade. Battery is starting to go though 

Wonderboom is about the same size, weight and shape of the Marley Chant mini! 420g! Good replacement for the old Marley. JBL Flips are a popular cylinder shaped option but I am a fan of the smaller 300g Tribit Stormbox Micro2 for travel.

Megaboom is 3lbs. Wonderboom is 1.2 lbs, (less than half the size/weight of Megaboom. Earfun Uboom L (1.4lbs) is a good replacement for a Wonderboom. Soundcore motion boom and Tribit Stormbox Lava are 4lb blasters that will crush a UE megaboom if you need to rock out.

The cylinder are a safer bet with kayaking. The JBL Flip or Charge or UE Wonderboom or Boom. The Soundcore Glow should be good too.

I do admit that showering and shaving goes by more quickly with playing podcasts. I have a wonderboom speaker that I use in multiple rooms.

I have enjoyed the UE Wonderboom. Good midrange sound and decent bass for its small size. If I were buying today, I would look at today at the JBL Flip, Bose SoundLink Flex,Bose SoundLink Max, Sony Ult 1, Sony Ult 5, Tribit Stormbox Box 2 or Stormbox Blast.

The Soundcore Glow or Sony Ult 1 seemed solid when I tried those. I have a Wonderboom great item.

UE Wonderboom. It sounds really good for its size.

UE Wonderboom for sound clarity and pretty easy. Very portable as well
