Randommaggy 1.0My pair of 18 inch 2560x1600 innoview monitors can run of a single usb-c each on my Asus Scar 18 2023 at a full 500 nits but not on all machines. They do accept supplemental power from my Satchi multi-port GAN charger just fine.
I've worked for weeks on my pair of 18 inch 2560x1600 500 nits matte IPS Innoview portable monitors, together with my Asus Scar 18 2023 and I've never experienced any additional eye strain using them.
My pair of 18 inch 2560x1600 500 nits monitors only draws 15 W each and can be fully powered by my main laptop, an Asus Scar 18 2023. My macbook Air M1 and my GPD Pocket 4 can't run them past 80% brightness without auxiliary power. My X280 can run them at 70% brightness before it's ports run out of juice. Thankfully my 100WH powerbank can supply auxiliary power for them.
There is s reason I've 3D printed corner guards for my pair of 18 inch portable monitors that travel together facing each other inside a thick and protective 18 inch laptop sleve. Feels great to unpack and have 3 18 inch 2560x1600 500 nits monitors anywhere I have a table and an outlet.
