Using 2K Arzopa model, not sure which model exactly. It's amazing. LG Gram mentioned here is also awesome (well, actually better) but it's only USB-C, so if you need HDMI, it's not an option. Also, if you travel a lot, get a sturdy laptop case just for the monitor, because it gets squished in the backpack, broke one like that haha.
I have [this one](https://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-Electronics-Portable-Monitor-16-inch/dp/B09XMSQS8B?crid=1QSS1LZB3M6W1&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.n31IDyY5aUzRBzEsxEL7C0F8n01SUxa48eqlu1eSUMeLGPoIT7p3znoNuutk7ocAbcnrGvNusgtIJfPkPtMr115_mJabkexGokRd54zcgKI.VYfiuG7tvC4iWe1Gu4Zjut4STh95sxVlWyQxagX8bNs&dib_tag=se&keywords=lg+16mq70&qid=1745920793&sprefix=lg+16mq70%2Caps%2C96&sr=8-4). It's very lightweight, good quality, and pairs well with my MacBook Pro.
My LG16 is USB-C powered so a single cable from the laptop is all that is needed. I do wish it was touchscreen though I'd also look for a nice stand to raise whatever monitor you choose.
I just got one of these and returned it because for the life of me I could not get a decent picture from it. At full resolution it looked great but the UI was way too tiny to be usable. I tried cutting the resolution in half to 1280x800 but it just looked super blurry. This was confusing to me because I thought Macs did integer 2x scaling? Using it with a 2019 iMac 21".
I tried the LG gram + view first and retuned it because I could not get it to look right. I could not get the resolution to scale 2x. The full 2056x1600 made the UI way too small and no other scales sizes looked sharp or were distorted. I thought the 1280x800 was supposed to work but it didn’t (this was meant to be a supplement to a 2019 iMac but will eventually get connect to my mini I just ordered. Anyhow, I retuned that and got the viewsonic vx1655-4k (non-oled). It automatically scales the 4k to 1080p at 2x and looks amazing, better than my iMac retina or very comparable to it. She’s a keeper. But now I need to figure out a stand.
The LG Gram, I have it and it’s beautiful. Very light and great colours. https://www.lg.com/pl/laptopy/gram/16mq70/
Got an LG gram + view 16”. Looks great, single cable setup, cover doubles as the stand and works flawlessly with my MacBook Pro. Zero complaints.
Have one of these as well. Colours are great but don’t like the stand or that there is no power pass through. I saw a newer version - don’t think much has changed though.
If you can get one, the LG Gram 16" IPS Portable Display. It's the lightest one I know of that is also 16". I don't know if they still make them, but you can find them on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BZQJ5SPC
I posted the same above. It's the lightest screen you can find at that size. I don't think there's anything that weighs less.
The LG gram +view for me, hands down. Got one for myself and my partner for our work. Power + display at 2k res with only a single USB-C, without a separate power cable or brick. Comes with a folio cover that also functions as a (albeit finicky) stand My partner uses it for home as well too, with a 3rd party ULTI monitor stand. She just unplugs the cable from her laptop and brings along the folio cover whenever we head down to the office
Lg gram view 16" and pretty lightweight
