r/ROGAllyHave you bought a Portable OLED monitor? 4k, 3k, 1080p?

I purchased and returned the Newsoul 3k one recently. It had terrible flickering - and no amount of troubleshooting (cables, device swap, setting changes, etc ) fixed it. It was probably just a defective unit, since no other review mentioned similar issues, and to Newsoul's credit they were very on top of trying to help me fix the issue/offered an exchange without me needing to ask. I decided to just stick with using an iPad for a secondary monitor, so I returned it. I liked the panel quite a bit though, and notably it had pass through charging to the Ally which was really nice. Had it worked without issue, I might've kept it.

r/sffpcNew Portable 3k/4k OLEDs (14-24”) expected for CES or should I just get the existing 16” 3k 120hz options?

I have an iPad Mini 7 but moonlight just doesn't work consistently enough for my taste, even with a dedicated Wifi 6e router in line of sight. I already had the NewSoul 16" 3k oled and loved it, I just got unlucky with the bad usb port 😭
