"IT DOESN'T SUPPORT GSYNC OR VRR ... you have to maintain at least 30-60fps to have a smooth gameplay"
"Mines nice when it works but it does flicker at times, worse when powering on and starting then it seems to stablise but now and then theres a screen flicker as in image drops to black briefly which is annoying af. ... It’s just the persistent flicker is horrid. ... PC black screen flickers with HDMI and steam deck flickers with usbc."

"As some of you know when switching to HDR mode the the overall screen is just too dark. ... The monitor does not save this preset. If you swap apps I.E go from 1 game to another or video app the setting will revert back to default HDR darkness. ... I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS."
"HDR looks pretty yuck imo but I've not calibrated it either. ... HDR was a bit chite but acceptable."

I ended up going with this one from uperfect. It’s pretty good and honestly overkill for the ally x. If I was buying today I would probably get the 2k one instead. Both are able to run off a single usbc with no power cable I’m pretty sure https://a.co/d/0581bfI
Grabbed one of these and the image was great, but SUPER glossy and reflective
I returned mine after a day or so. The screen was too reflective for me.
I used the UColor O2 Monitor [https://uperfect.com/products/16-inch-3k-oled-120hz-monitor?sca\_ref=8577376.wCKusKC7lF](https://uperfect.com/products/16-inch-3k-oled-120hz-monitor?sca_ref=8577376.wCKusKC7lF) It's working just amazing and supper thin!
I have the monitor and been using for gaming, only missing is the vrr, i have UColor O2 - 16:10 Monitor 16 Inch Portable 3K OLED Display 120Hz The graphics is good i have the 5070 gpu.
I have the 16” Uperfect O2. I know it can be hit or miss with them and ymmv but I’m really loving the monitor so I have to share. 😊
I am loving my little 16” Uperfect O2
For anyone considering **Uperfect O2** instead of a miniLED -- don't. I have it, and compared to **BOE NE160QDM-NM4** (Asus Flow X16 2023) it looks pretty bad. There's a new OLED panel in mass production rn - ATNA60HU01-0, 2k 240hz 500nit. Currently being shipped only within Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 to my knowledge. This one looks like a good OLED contender for this usecase.
I bought a uperfect 3k oled 120 hz gaming portable monitor about a year ago for abiut 150 usd. It came with magnetic case that also worked as the monitor stand. Provided power over USB C and all i had to do was plug 1 cable into my motherboard to for power and act as the video source from the gpu. I was specifically looking for an oled and it turned out to be perfect for me. Really easy setup to move around
I have the uperfect 120hz 3k one is fantastic. It's normally cheaper if u order it from there website. Just double check tho
I live in the UK. I got it for £240 from u perfect webstore.
