r/RobotVacuumsRobot vacuum for long pet hair that's JUST a vacuum?!

Dreame lets you do vacuum only cycles from the app, and it’ll stay on vacuum only if you don’t go in and change it so you never have to think about it. It’ll disconnect the mop pads for the task automatically so you don’t risk tangles. At least on the x60 I just got, it’s pretty nice. Roborock was similar but it defaulted to vac+mop, so you have to choose each time. I could be wrong on that, as I returned mine due to really bad coil whine so it was a little while ago.

r/RobotVacuumsFor low furniture homes, Roborock Saros 10R or Dreame X60?

I tried the 10r, it did well going under low furniture. I returned it for poor performance in other areas and preordered the X60. It’s not out yet but YouTube reviews show it doing well with low furniture.

r/RobotVacuumsCostco (Go Vac 508) or stick with what I got (X60 Max Ultra Complete)?!

The X60, will be a way better robot vacuum, but if you dont need the best top of the line performance, and wanna save some money, I would say go with the Go Vac. Also make sure you dont need any of the features of the x60 like the retractable lidar and how thin it is to go under ur furniture.

r/Dreame_TechX60 Max Ultra might be the best flagship Dreame has ever launched

So I've owned the X30, X40,X50, L50, and Aqua 10 Ultra and 8 must say the X60 so far has been the best, least buggy Dreame flagship right out of the box. I've had it for almost a week and here are a few things I like: 1. They finally fixed the carpet recognition. If you have rugs that are close together it now recognizes them as separate rugs and not one big rug. 2. The auto carpet recognition actually recognizes the correct size of the rug, so you don't have to make any manual edits. 3. It now mops right up to the edge of the rugs with no manual intervention. 4. The thin profile allows it to get underneath my kitchen cabinets right up to the edge 5. Battery life is much better than the Aqua 10. Still not quite as good as the X40. The fast charge helps. 6. Auto-empty actually works well like the X50 dust bin design, unlike the Aqua 10. A couple things that still need work: 1. When the lidar lowers for low-clearance areas the navigation sucks. I wish it had a design similar to the Roborock Saros 10 where the lidar still has partial visibility when it's lowered. 2. I'm not sure how good mopping is yet. Overall, I like it a lot so far!

Honestly, I hated the X50. I bought when it first launched and the software was very buggy. The navigation was bad, battery life was bad, and it didn't mop close enough under the edges of my kitchen cabinets, so I returned it. I tried it again 6 months later and had the same issues. The X60 just works better out of the box.The battery life is better and the lower profile allows it to go in more spaces in my place without having to lower the lidar.

r/RobotVacuumsRoborock Saros 10R vs Dreame X60, which would you pick?

The Saros 10R is really slim and can get under furniture easily. Obstacle avoidance is decent, but it sometimes hesitates in tighter spots. I had one run where it rerouted for no obvious reason, which was a little annoying, though it still finished the job. The X60 hasn't gotten stuck for me so far and seems a bit more careful around furniture and small objects. The Saros 10R's suction is fine for normal dust and everyday mess, but with sticky spots it sometimes just passes over them. The X60 feels stronger overall. When mopping it can detect stubborn spots and go over them a few extra times with more water and pressure. The Saros 10R finishes faster and works well for everyday cleaning. The X60 takes a bit longer, but the upgrade feels noticeable and it seems more focused on deeper cleaning. Which one would you pick?

I’d recommend against. Top model broke down in couple of months hard

r/Dreame_TechSo far the X60 has been really awesome!

That’s odd, mine’s been emptying the dustbin pretty well so far. I checked it a couple times after the auto empty and it was basically clean, even with a lot of dog hair.

Mine’s been okay with the lowered lidar so far. It moves more carefully but hasn’t thrown off the map or anything.

It lines up with me. I have all hardwood, and while my Eufy S1 Pro was amazing at mopping, it needed such regular maintenance biweekly that I felt like I had to set aside time to make it work well. It’s currently mopping our garage instead after I bought the X60. The x60 has been an amazing all around robot so far. The navigation is superb and doesn’t get stuck, even things like our dog mat isn’t getting sucked into the robot which was a problem with others. The vacuuming and mopping has been great. I think it’s subjective because while I would say the roller style mops do a “better” job, the added maintenance wasn’t worth the trouble to me. But there’s also a reason I switched back to spinning mops, we simply don’t have large messes. Too many reviewers review huge chunks of ketchup or something on the floor which is fine if that’s your thing but for us the robot is supposed to handle floor maintenance with just shoes and such, not huge messes, and so far the X60 is as maintenance free as I’ve ever gotten. It tackles general shoe tracking and hair perfectly. I don’t even think about cleaning. Bonus points for its slimness it can actually reach way more places than thicker robots. I originally was going to compare the Flow 2 vs X60 but the Flow 2 is still the same thickness as my S1 so I’d rather just have the slimness of the X60 to reach more places personally.

r/RobotVacuumsThe Absolute Best Robot Vacuum and Mop?

Mova Z60 Ultra Roller, Dreame X60 (I’ve seen it on sale for $1500), and maybe the Roborock Qrevo CurvX. If vacuuming performance is your top priority, then I would look into Ecovacs models with the BLAST system (X9, X11). Dreame and Mova are great all around brands that do well in every category, especially in obstacle avoidance. Roborock isn’t known for great obstacle recognition and Ecovacs is hit or miss. Both are great cleaners though in their respective categories.

I’m honestly more into the Dreame X60. Roborock Saros 20 kinda feels like a dock update over the Saros 10R, while the X60 feels like a bigger jump, especially with navigation and avoiding stuff with the dual AI cameras.
