r/RobotVacuumsThinking of getting t50 max pro for my carpets, good idea?

After using it for some time, I personally think it does a great job bringing these tech together, makes cleaning way more thorough. I got one earlier this year and have been using it for a while now. It’s better at cleaning carpets, I used to have a lot of hair stuck in the carpet, and some vacuums just couldn’t get it all out, but this one really does a solid job.

r/RobotVacuumsYet another "What robot vac shold I buy?" question
5 months ago

Hmm, most robot vacuums nowadays come with a mopping feature, it’s kinda standard now. If you care more about vacuuming, I think you could check out some models with better airflow design instead of just focusing on suction power numbers. I know ecovacs got a t50 max model focuses more on that and does a solid job on both hard floors and carpets. But I don’t know your budget, so maybe just take a look at which models fit within your range.

I don’t think robot vacuums are totally useless on carpets. If it’s not too thick, they usually do fine. But I’m not sure how long your carpet is, if it’s really fluffy, most robot vacuums will have a hard time with that. I’ve got a deebot t50 max, and I use it on my floors most of the time, but sometimes on my carpet too when there’s dust or little bits of stuff, and it also handles that well.

If you’re looking for something with strong suction, check out the ecovacs t50 max pro. I got one because I’m always finding snack crumbs in my carpet, and I needed something that could really tackle that. In fact, I found it does a nice job cleaning my carpet, and the vacuuming is pretty decent.

r/RobotVacuumsWhat robot vacuum works best with kids?

I’ve got kids at home too, and I’m using the t50 max from ecovacs. But if there are little toys or pieces on the floor, it’s best to clear them up a bit before the robot starts. If there are crumbs or stuff like that, though, my robot will handle it just fine.

You might want to check out the deebot t50 max. It's been good in my place, the suction is strong enough to pick up hair in one pass, and it has an extendable side brush that can reach the corners.

My deebot t50 max sometimes gets stuck on my thin bath mat, but I just tape it down and then it's fine. It has no problem picking up pet hair from carpet. Just watch out for tassels, those don't work with robots. I've also read that you can put a throw over a big yoga mat instead of a carpet, it's easier to wash and cheaper too.

You should choose models with tricut brush. I’m using the ecovacs t50 max pro, the suction is strong enough to pick up both my hair and my cat’s, and the self emptying works smoothly with no hair left behind.

r/RobotVacuumsBuy a Vac -and- a Mop, or one that does both?

Pick one that does both, set it on schedule, it will saves you a lot of time. See if ecovacs t50 max pro is available in your region. I am really satisfied with its suction power, keeps my carpet clean. Even though it's not the latest roller mop model, I still think it mops well.

God, there're also two little fur guys in our place, I'd like to admit that they're cute, but it's such a really really big headahce to clean they hair, like when I cleaned up the fue yesterday, it needs another cleaning today. I used t50 max pro from ecovacs, it's also need a usual cleaning, but it's sunction is big that I can finish cleaning up so fast.

r/RobotVacuumsThinking of getting t50 max pro for my carpets, good idea?

I'd say yes if your house has plenty of carpets, my t50 max pro vacuums well, and the mop pads are round, I love that it uses hot water to clean. What surprised me the most is that it can even pull dirt out of little cracks in the floor, there was this one time I spilled flour all over the floor by accident, and it cleaned up well.

You may look for models with spinning mops, they can reach into the edges well, and are easier to maintain. My deebot t50 max is one of these, it keeps my floors decent everyday.

r/RobotVacuumsLooking for best Robo Vac/Mop Combo under $500? (1200 sq ft, mixed floors)

We went with the ecovacs t50 max. It has strong suction and has been running well, picking up hair from my carpet and floors. The mopping is also good enough to deal with footprints and stains, even in the corners.

r/RobotVacuumsBest robot vacuum + mop for dog, toddler, rugs & hardwood (~1500 sq ft)?

You could check if the robot can auto lift the mop. It's a must for rugs so they don't get wet. I have a deebot t50 max and its suction is strong enough to get sand and dirt out of the carpet fibers. Plus, it's also super slim, so it gets under all my low furniture without getting stuck.

r/RobotVacuumsIn your opinion what's the best vacuum + mop model available today, if price was no issue?

I'm using an ecovacs t50 now, and the dock handling mop washing and drying has been working well for me so far.

r/RobotVacuumsLooking for the best robot vacuum in 2026 thats worth the money. Need Advice

The biggest upgrade you'll notice is mapping and app control. You can tell it to clean just the kitchen or avoid the rug, which is handy. For around 400euro, you could check out the deebot t50. It sometimes goes on sale at about that price.

r/parrotsDoes anyone here use any robot vacuums/mops?

Can your parrots roam freely around the house? My two can only stay in the bird room, so there're always feathers and bits of seeds on the floor. When I run my ecovacs deebot, I just let it clean the bird room too. After that, I don't really need to clean it again myself.

I’ve got a few carpets, so cleaning by hand was such a pain...There’s always dog hair and bits of kibble stuck in there and I’ll use my deebot t50 max to handle it. After I let it map the place the first time, it just follows that path now. I also like to pick the cleaning mode I want in the app.

I ended up getting a vacuum and mop robovac to help me out, it’s the ecovacs t50 max. Besides sucking up all the usual mess, sometimes I send it after the little footprints and random spills it leaves behind.

Hey, thanks for reffering to my content but i do not think that the t50 max pro and the x9 (what my video is about) do perform the same for 2 reasons : 1. airflow path is different : the t50 max has a more straight one with the suction motor in the back while the one of the x9 is more "curvy" (the suction motor is placed at the side right to the bin) which should give the t50 an advantage 2. on the other side : the t50 max uses a F9 filter while the X9 only uses a m6 filter. The "better" filtration of the t50 max may result in equal or lesser performance. Nevertheless - both filtration filter are not great and do not fullfill even EPA standard - most units have at least E11 on paper - the Dyson Vis Nav is currently the only machine i am aware of that has claimed full machine HEPA filtration with at least an external 3rd party cerficicated test (the true HEPA claim of Neato is only based on "internal lab tests").

Yes, it performs great on carpets. Even on lower suction levels, it still picks up 99.99% of debris it passes over!

r/ecovacsEcovac Deebot T50 Max Pro Omni Review
4 months ago

I have the same model, it's shit I know. It recently had a firmware update that helped with its obstacle avoidance and mapping (v1.61.0 for me) but it's nowhere near as good as competing brands like Dreame which I'm going to be buying one of their robot vacuums soon because I'm still not satisfied with my ecovacs.

r/RobotVacuumsWhich would you buy for under $300?

I would recommend any Roborock, Dreame or MOVA. I used to have a Dreame L40 which did a great job vacuuming and mopping my whole house but I had buyer's remorse and thought i was Missing out in which I bought an ecovacs T50 Max pro 💀. Ecovacs is horrible and the general understanding is to avoid ecovacs as a brand entirely. They have great hardware but software and navigation suck big time. Id go back to my Dreame in an instant if I could. That being said I don't think there's any reason for you to buy the absolute top tier robot vacuums but a nice mid range from those companies will do a great job at vacuuming and mopping.

r/ecovacsNot sure about T90 / T80 / T50 max. Any advice on which to choose?

Ditch ecovacs, they are nothing but trouble. I upgraded to a Dreame L50 Ultra from a T50 Max Pro Omni and the difference is night and day. Save your time and money, don't get ecovacs.

[Ecovacs robo vaccum and mop](https://a.co/d/d1r4SiK) the one with the separate tanks that cleans its own mops and dried them too. I know you said, no internet access and I’m curious as to why not, but man I freaking LOVE this thing! And there are more, better, and stronger coming. It saves me so much of my sanity! Edit to add: you still gotta do a deep clean every now and then, but far less frequent. I have mine do its thing every morning at 8am while I’m still asleep (it’s downstairs so I don’t hear it vacuum)

Pet owner here. Since getting the deebot t50 max, messy floors and hair mixed in the carpets no longer bother me, I think it would work well for your place too, and it costs only about half of that.

TLDR; T50 obstacle avoidance and navigation is so bad it makes any upside not worth it, will be returning. Full story; after probably months of research I finally pulled the trigger and bought the T50, for a variety of reasons. One of the biggest was the apparent value for performance as indicated by Vacuum wars. I got it set up and things seemed fine during the mapping phase. But, everything went south once it actually started cleaning. The amount of times it got stuck on regular furniture is maddening. Some common issues: - tries to go under furniture it is clearly too tall for and wedges itself stuck - randomly ignores “no go” zones i set up in the app such as high pile carpet and gets stuck - gets stuck pushing against an ottoman for no apparent reason?? - tries to run over the thin metal horizontal base that connects the legs of the chairs of my bistro set and gets stuck The app UX is also silly and unintuitive. When (not if) you get an error message saying the robot is stuck there’s no way to close it on the app, you have to restart the app. It also takes too many steps to get to basic features/settings/and functions. The whole point of a robo vac is to be autonomous so having to move or fix it every time it runs is useless. Save your money and buy a dreame or robo rock. And PLEASE @Vacuum Wars, update your rankings to weight navigation and obstacle avoidance more
