"the real game changers are the Omni-stations. ... You definitely want to buy one with a station, that can empty the dust bin, clean and dry the mopping pads. ... Having to only empty and refill the robot once a week, instead of daily was the hugest step in comfort for me personally."

"I've got the Ecovacs Omni with the docking station and it's great. ... Docking station is a must in my opinion. Especially if you have a larger home. It's the difference between the whole house being vacuumed, and just the remainder of the capacity in the robot, which varies depending on when you emptied it last."

"As it's working, it goes back to its station often, which automatically washes the mop pads and cleans dirt out of the vaccuum with suction."

I personally find x11 does a good job with both vacuuming and mopping. Plus, its large dustbin is a big bonus for pet households since you don't have to empty it as often.

Lol, my wife and I are both not that into cleaning, so we got a robot vacuum after we moved. Then we just threw all the floor cleaning to our ecovacs deebot. It works on our carpets too, so it's pretty useful.

I use the x11 on my tiles and it's been fine. You can adjust the water flow to avoid streaks, which is key. It also has fast charging, so it manages to cover my floor without much downtime. Corner cleaning is decent too.

2000sft place is pretty big. I’ve been trying out my new X11 lately, and the battery lasts a long time. It feels like it could handle your whole place in once. I also have hardwood floors, and the roller mop works great on them and does a good job cleaning.

Maybe ecovacs x11? I’m using one now, it has a roller mop. I have a small tiled area at home, and it usually doesn’t leave much water behind when mopping. For carpets, it really depends on how thick they are. If the carpet isn’t too high, it can get on it and vacuum just fine.

Actually, as long as you set the water level used for mopping appropriately (I usually set it at medium or low), there's no need to worry about damage. I use deebot x11 in my place to mop the hardwood floors, and it does a good job, no water streaks or scratches on my floors.

You might want to look for something with stronger downward pressure on the mop, like some roller mop model, ecovacs x11 should be nice. It presses the mop against the floor more, which may help with cleaning those grooves. For drying water spots, using a lower water level usually helps too. I do that on mine and it dries pretty quickly.

Just bought the ecovac x11. Holy smokes that thing is supreme. My floors are spotless and it navigates around everything with ease. I just sat at work and watched it clean the house via its front camera. Take the plunge, you won't regret it!

Bro, I just got the X11 not long ago. The roller mop is great and I've been using it a lot to clean my wooden floors now. Even those sticky stains, it doesn’t take more than a couple passes to get them out. https://preview.redd.it/pfgczsezfo8g1.jpeg?width=1320&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9383fb89b4a9514f136df2f97a78abe6c90fb059

I've been using the deebot x11. It runs quietly and does a good job cleaning, no issues so far. The industry evolves quickly, and I think their newer releases are generally much improved.

The X11 has a big dustbin, and hair hardly ever gets tangled. I got it when it first came out in India, and I’ve been using it up to now.

so originally I find that mapping was horrible, it would take several rooms and make it one large room, but going against directions and I did a map with the lights off and it did the best map ever. the AI hosting feature to clean takes forever, like my house is around 2600sq feet and after 13 hours it still wasnt done, it was just thinking way too much. Ive decided to use scenario cleaning only. It's faster and I have more control. I don't like how it uses more water rather than cleaning agent for mopping (I have hardwood floors). The roomba I had previously let me use Bona in their liquid container. You need to good amount of customizations to get things right, but after that, it does clean well, it's quiet and does a decent job. I can't get the matter features to work, it just says it can't find the area selected and goes back. I also wish there was a away mode type of cleaning, so I can pick a area to clean when I leave the home.

My advice is to never buy a robot vacuum at full price there are always deals, so it's worth waiting. The Matrix 10 Ultra is an interesting device, but I wouldn't get it. I think it has potential but in it's current state it's almost pointless, kind of like the Roborock Z70 with its robotic arm. It also takes forever to clean since it has to swap pads, wash them, etc. It's a dumb product, although not as dumb as the Z70. As of today, the robots I would get are the Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Track and the Ecovacs X11 OmniCyclone. Maybe also the Eufy E28 (Im a bit unsure about this one), but that's mainly because of how easy it is to maintain the roller and the dock. But I would generally recommend basically any good robot that has a massive price gap. Between the top models as they are like 90% as good as the top end for 50% the price. Also, don't get scammed when deal hunting! Always use sites that show price history so you can see if you're actually getting a deal.

I've been using the x11 for a bit now, the mopping has been solid for me, no weird glitches. And the bagless design is way bigger than I expected, so I don't need to clean it after every use.

I started using the X11 last year, and it cleans well. The upgraded roller mop is also effective for deeper cleaning. With a regular mop, I’d have to go over stains a couple of times, but this one usually gets them in one pass.

My deebot x11 has been working well for me. It puts pressure on the tile floor to take off dirty spots. And x11 won't just drag a dirty mop around and leave the dirty water on the floor. Instead, it washes the roller mop while mopping, so my tile floor came out with no marks.

Upgraded to an x11 for few months. The roller mop system is efficient and self-cleaning also saved me a lot of effort. It's a good choice under nice discount

The ecovacs X11 is decent overall. The dustbin is fairly large at 1.6L, so with a normal amount of dust, it doesn’t need to be emptied very often. The cleaning solution is dispensed automatically based on usage, and the cleaning performance also feels solid.

Hardwood floors here too, and the ecovacs x11 has been working well for us. The roller mop is actually very gentle on the floors, I haven’t noticed any scratches. The robot washes the mop itself while mopping, so dirt won't get dragged around. I just keep up with some regular daily maintenance, and it's been reliable.

r/RobotVacuumsDealing with tons of cat hair, any solid robot vacuum recs?

For three cats I'd prioritize models with stronger suction and self emptying. I have an ecovacs x11 and it handles cat hair better than I expected. One pass on hard floors gets most of it. The roller mop self cleans so hair doesn't build up there. Just check the brush every few runs.

Flow easiest to maintain and quietest. X11 best vac. Z60 best downpressure for deep groves. I have the Flow for 4 months and happy with the performance. Would buy again over any competative bots.
