"the real game changers are the Omni-stations. ... You definitely want to buy one with a station, that can empty the dust bin, clean and dry the mopping pads. ... Having to only empty and refill the robot once a week, instead of daily was the hugest step in comfort for me personally."
"As it's working, it goes back to its station often, which automatically washes the mop pads and cleans dirt out of the vaccuum with suction."
"When it's done, the station has a hot air dryer that keeps the mop pads dry."

"Ecovacs has the worst after sales of any company in any place of the world I have ever experienced. ... The company won’t take responsibility and goi around in circles. ... They wasted more than 6 months after talk to multiple people and site visits and it was escalated till the head of the after sales who I will name clearly: Tanmay Gangani, who is an absolute unprofessional and blatant liar with no sense of responsibility and ethics."
"I have never faced such a horrible service from any products in my life. ... Their service is ridiculous. ... The technician would come home and then inspect the device and raise a ticket for the spare part. So the spare part will be couriered to the customer directly after 2 or 3 weeks. Once this reaches your home, the technician will come again and replace that part. This is ridiculous. ... They don't provide service, they don't provide warranty. ... n one of my friends case, they had denied warranty saying there is fungus on board and its caused by water damage."
"Got it replaced and the cost was 8K. ... the replacement cost was again 8K. ... Their service is expensive. Even to just visit and check the issue they charge 1K."

"It was $1000 CAD and a software nightmare. ... the software made me want to throw my phone everytime I used it because I had to remap almost every time I changed floors even though it can apparently save 3 maps."
"Subsequently you don't have the option to re-map a particular area. You have to re-map the entire house."

"After 3 months of use, the machine started working erratically. Cleaning was not proper. ... Even after this the machine is not pulling in dust."
"I've had it a year and a half and have had to replace the brushes on it twice."

"Doesn’t clean the corners efficiently."
Simple answer - no it won't. I'll give you a bit of context and then you decide but from what you've written this won't do your job. So my Y1 does a good job but it got stuck with a dry leaf that has blown in from an open window, it got stuck with a small twine my kiddo pulled from a doll and the dust bag fills up quickly. It works for our home because the mess was already under control. But in your case I think a regular vacuum would be required for the major debris and for regular use, with the dog, I would suggest something which auto empties the bin like the y1 pro plus so you don't spend your time constantly emptying the bin. One more note that nobody, strangely, talks about - these machines are mostly about the software. The first time you use it the house gets mapped. Subsequently you don't have the option to re-map a particular area. You have to re-map the entire house. Also if you want to do the cleaning of a particular area more than once then there is no automatic setting - you have to start the cleaning manually. You can schedule when the cleaning starts but it would clean the full house and you cannot set it to clean a particular area on a schedule. Also there is no way to customize the cleaning depending on what room is being cleaned so you cannot, say, set it to clean the kitchen with a stronger vacuum setting than the rest of the house. These are all things that can be very easily fixed in an update of the software but as of now there are the limitations you'd have to live with.

r/ecovacs • Ecovacs y1 pro reviews? ->Hey, I just wanted to share with everyone, my experience about Ecovacs robotic vacuum cleaner. I have never faced such a horrible service from any products in my life. I have been using several electronic devices and appliances, but nothing horrible like this. My experience with this brand has been ridiculous. Firstly let me tell you, all the reviews that you see about this product on Amazon are fake. If u read closely, all the reviews are about product installation and demo. They ask their technicians to persuade customer to leave a review at the time of demo, Even before they actually start using the product. So my machine was a Deebot Y1 Pro, i purchased 9 months back. After 3 months of use, the machine started working erratically. Cleaning was not proper. Initially they changed the driving wheels, then the brush motor, the the main board. Even after this the machine is not pulling in dust. All this took around 6 months. Yes you heard it right. Their service is ridiculous. The technician would come home and then inspect the device and raise a ticket for the spare part. So the spare part will be couriered to the customer directly after 2 or 3 weeks. Once this reaches your home, the technician will come again and replace that part. This is ridiculous. The technician is never provided spares by the technician despite being a huge brand. After 7 such visits, the machine wasn't still working. Water tank was leaking, cleaning was not happening etc etc. I begged them to provide a replacement which they said is not in their policy. They don't provide service, they don't provide warranty. n one of my friends case, they had denied warranty saying there is fungus on board and its caused by water damage. There are some women sitting in their service, and they are not technical at all. They always play around with you. These are all generic chinese devices rebranded and sold here in India. Its not an indian product at all. I think the story of most other brands also is the same. Even for dreame also i have read similar reviews on amazon. Xiaomi might be better i hope. I bought two Xiaomi S10 recently, lets see how it goes. https://preview.redd.it/4u4gjso6xz9f1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=486d396bdbf8d9bd829fc1c17f0a90af9f2cf9ff https://preview.redd.it/66qosig9xz9f1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=1fa62d8e141b7248f3810994bd9ce201dea71904 https://preview.redd.it/r2g4dy7axz9f1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=48c5a13a72010dc0ae38035e76fa93c6bcf57f66 https://preview.redd.it/ys0ia4saxz9f1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=a6538fcfa7dd87b93b6eb3fd28b82c27bc7a16bf
r/ecovacs • Ecovacs Robotic Vacuum cleaner - Its a scam brand! ->It can’t scrub the floor. Doesn’t clean the corners efficiently. You have to do a pre-sweep to remove debris. It gets stuck on small pieces of kibble etc.
r/ecovacs • Ecovacs y1 pro reviews? ->Ecovacs y1 pro plus Using it from past 3 weeks vaccum is good Moping not upto the mark leaves marks Buy with auto bin otherwise don't Dreame has good vaccum robot under the budget of 30k but there is no service centre ( research once again) Wait for 1-2 months you will get some good offers ebig billion day sale I eyed for Dreame L10s prime @34k which is a very good deal but found the reviews not upto the mark so I dropped the plan and went with ecovacs It is a really good investment
r/BuyItForLifeIndia • Best robotic vacuum and mop for Indian households and your experiences ->We have Ecovacs Deebot Y1 pro. It is good and effective but we need to clean the corners and area where it cannot go. It has services locations all over India.
r/hyderabad • Anyone using Robot vacuum? ->I have Ecovacs y1 pro and my cleaning area is 1200 square feet….which takes around 2 hr 30 min to vacuum and mop. I have one small dog….vacuuming 10/10 and mopping 7/10. I suggest you go with the auto emptying…which will be useful.
r/RobotVacuums • Robo vacuum by eureka forbs ->[Narwal Freo X Plus](https://amzn.to/3UpLnYy) \- double brush, compact dust feature. Good product overall, but service, and service centers are hard to find. [ECOVACS Deebot Y1 Pro](https://amzn.to/45FLaWn) \- easy to find service centres, general positive feedback, great for sweeping and vacuum cleaning, mopping is average Decide based on which sweeping purpose is the priority.

r/chennaicity • Robot vacuum cleaner, which one is worth buying? ->I have a reasonably-older DeeBot with the laser and yes, it does well with avoidance and the mapping works very well -- when I transport it to the basement it knows and uses that map, and vice-versa. The only complaint I have with them is that the main brush motor gear assembly is buried and ALL of these, no matter who make them, have plastic gears in said motor assemblies -- they WILL fail over time (as will the batteries, like any other lithium pack), and when they do the availability of parts from other than "small packet" via China may be slim and none. These things are silly expensive to trash over a $20 part so parts access and capability to disassemble it and change components like this (and the parts are CHEAP -- if you can get them) is and should be a MAJOR consideration lest you wind up tossing it as soon as one of these parts go bad out of warranty.
r/RobotVacuums • Thinking of upgrading my robot vac — does obstacle avoidance actually work these days? ->I have an ecovacs deebot that does both vaccuuming and mopping. I used to have a Eufy, but this one is way nicer. They're expensive, but really amazing, and I was able to buy mine from their website on a payment plan. The one I have has a big tank for clean water and one for the dirty water. As it's working, it goes back to its station often, which automatically washes the mop pads and cleans dirt out of the vaccuum with suction. When it's done, the station has a hot air dryer that keeps the mop pads dry. I have a few sets of pads, and I wash them in the washing machine regularly. I agree with the other commenter to make sure you get one with smart mapping, mine does and it works great!
r/parrots • Does anyone here use any robot vacuums/mops? ->Just ordered the Roborock Qrevo Curv X this morning with the Black Friday sale. We used to have a cheaper Ecovacs Deebot and hated it/sold it because it would get stuck all the time on our carpets and couldn't get over our bathroom threshold. We recently moved into a multi story unit with hardwood floors and excited to see how this new one goes.
r/RobotVacuums • What robot vacuum are you getting? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
