Two long haired dogs and long haired people here: the cutting comb on the C20 works great. You still have to check the brush every so often and get the hair off the ends of the roller, but it has kept the main roller almost entirely clean without my help, and the ends pop off so you can simply remove wound debris - it takes seconds and is without a doubt the easiest brush roller to clean we've ever had, in any kind of vacuum. I check it whenever I refill/empty the tanks, so maybe once a week or so. Mop function works great, and app is easy to use and very customizable. It navigates well and mapped our home easily. It detects big stuff like furniture just fine; not great at detecting smaller items, but it hasn't been a problem for us. I'm a fan!

r/RobotVacuumsChoosing a robovac for a housewarming present. Any suggestions?

Yes! Self empties dirt, cleans roller brush of hair with a cutting comb, washes mop heads, and dries mop heads. It uses room temp air to dry them (they have never smelled bad - it's a non issue) which saves energy costs over other models.

Two long hair dogs here - it has managed very well with their fur. The brush needs occasional cleaning out (I check it whenever I fill thr tanks) but waayyyyy less hair collects on it than previous model - the cleaning comb works well and the ends of the brush twist off easily to clean the hair that gets wound onto the mounting/bearings. Mop is no louder than the vacuum - it's just a humming noise. Suction is loudish on Max, but no louder than an upright vacuum, and standard suction is pretty quiet imo. The suction is powerful enough we don't need to run it on high unless there's been a spill. The self-empty is loud (they all are), but it's only a few seconds and you can schedule "do not disturb times" so it won't empty ie if you're asleep. The mop washing at the base station sounds about like a fairly quiet washing machine but, again, it's only about 45-60 seconds. The drying fan is about as loud as a fridge compressor; I don't even notice it while it runs. Obstacle avoidance is good for big objects, not great with small ones like cables and socks - it doesn't have an on board camera to spot those things. It's been fine with furniture, shoes, boxes, handbags, waste bins etc. Mapping has been excellent and it has adjusted to changes well (eg if a chair gets moved). As long as you have realistic expectations it is phenomenal value for a lot of high end features imo.

Eufy Omni C20 - affordable model with LOADS of higher end features. Excellent mapping, very flexible app with lots of scheduling and customization options, cutter comb to clean the brush at the self empty base, solid cleaning at 7,000 pascal with excellent active mopping. Regularly in sale in the US for $399 (not sure of the Canadian pricing).

The Eufy Omni C20 has NO camera. Cleans well for the price. Its mapping is good, and it navigates big things (furniture, boxes etc) fine, but isn't great at avoiding small objects like toys or cables.

r/RobotVacuumsIn Australia, Robot vacuum and mop recommendations for those with pets
10 months ago

I have both bagless and bagged and there are pros and cons both ways. While it's super nice not to need to bags - and I thought I preferred bagless - I will say less dust escapes both in use and when emptying with bags, which has been reeaallly nice. Our bags hold 2-3 months-worth in our house (even with daily use and two large hairy dogs) so it has been nbd. Neither is a dealbreaker for me, but I think on balance I've changed my tune and now prefer with bags. 🤷‍♀️

We've been very happy with the Eufy Omni c20 - 2 long hair dogs and people and it's managing better than any vacuum - robot or traditional - we've ever had. The cutter comb works well, and we've had no issues with blockages in the 7 months we've had it other than the one time a leaf got caught and blocked the outlet. The roller brush is particularly easy to clean, as the ends pop off so you can easily pull off wound hair and debris regularly goes on sale for around $399..

I really like Eufy - the Omni c20 is my third Eufy unit, and unquestionably the best of the three (traded up gradually from a superbudget 11s 5 years ago). Their customer service was responsive when we had a problem with the 2nd unit, and I have found the products offer a lot of bang per buck. Since I've always been on a strict budget, that has worked me :)

If you can find it in on sale, the Eufy Omni c20 is great and in your budget. Once you take a little time to set it up - user friendly app - it pretty much runs itself except for filling/emptying the water tanks and occasionally cleaning the roller brush and unit itself. Also, Woot (US) frequently has refurbished Shark models on sale - the Shark app is kind of a pain, but the prices are verrrry attractive.

The Eufy Omni C20 has a blade cutter and it works beautifully on all the long hair in our house (humans + two long hair dogs). Roller brush ends also pop off so you can easily clear anything that gets wound there too. I love this thing - it has been lifechanging for our domestic life at the price we could afford (yes, I know there are fancier/better/newer models out since last November, but few of them are anywhere near the price point of this thing. Can't promise it will make it to 5 years, but our budget 11s was still going strong for that long, so I'm going to hold out hope for this! (That said, the more features they have the more likely they are to break or succumb to planned obsolencence, which is another reason I prefer the budget end of the pool......)

I've had 3 Eufy robots. The only one which has been a problem was the second one (g35) but Eufy made it right with a replacement snd excellent support; it still works. The other two have been great (the ultra-budget 11s was still working well after 5 years when I gave it away last fall, and we are currently in month 7 with an Omni c20 and very happy with it!). That's a small sample, but they have earned brand loyalty from us.

E25 for carpet. C20 for excellent mopping and acceptable carpet on a budget.

r/RobotVacuumsEUFY C20 vs E25

I don't find the c20 bad on our rugs - it's more than acceptable relative to previous models we have had. However, we only have area rugs, not fitted carpeting.

r/RobotVacuumsEUFY C20 vs E25

Indeed, but so is the C20. My understanding is that the E25 is a much better carpet vac, and also nearly double the price.

r/RobotVacuumsMy Review of the new eufy E25
10 months ago

So glad at least one Manufacturer is FINALLY going to streamline the naming so that consumers have some idea what they're getting. I'm a very happy C20 owner and will stick with that for now - my budget ceiling was $400 which is why I didn't get an X10 last November, even though I considered it - but it's good to see that Eufy is consolodating their offerings, which will make it so much easier to choose a model next time we need to upgrade (we have 3 units in different parts of the house which are blocked by the layout of stairs/doors etc). One feature I am REALLY hoping will be added soon is the ability to deactivate the roller for certain kinds of rugs - they seem to detect the different surfaces well now, but for softer area rugs and things like Ruggables it would be fantastic if the roller can be turned off for those and only suction used. Here's hoping that's on a future feature list for the app soon!

r/RobotVacuumsMy Review of the new eufy E25
10 months ago

I've had that kind of service EVERY time I've used them, tbh, and it's why I didn't hesitate to purchase another one. We had major issues with our G35 (purchased in 2022) and they were great. Recently the C20 developed a squeak - responses were prompt and helpful (turned out to be due to the 3rd Party replacement brush I'd used, and nothing wrong with the robot at all).

We have 2 long haired dogs and LOVE our Omni c20 - mopping is great, snd the detangle comb on the base station works, plus the ends pop off the brush roller pop off to easily pull off all the hair that gets wound there. Super happy with it for the price.

r/RobotVacuumsHow should I make the right choice between budget and features?

Extra features are neat, but not "required". I wanted something I can run most days that does a better job than me having no time to do it at all, and didn't get choked with dog hair. Our Eufy Omni c20 is that and more and we LOVE it. Very affordable - regularly turns up on sale for $399.

r/RobotVacuumsWhat is your current robot, and what features would cause you to upgrade next?

Very very happy with Eufy Omni c20 and no intention - or need - to upgrade soon. Future requests: - ability to turn brush roller off while retaining suction (for softer rugs and things like Ruggables) - ability to run as a steam mop on demand? Prob not possible but could be a great future inclusion. - love the idea of an embedded mini robot! But honestly, I'm good. This thing already far exceeds anything I hoped for at this price, so I'm happy!

r/RobotVacuumsWould the Eufy 11S Max meet my needs?

The 11s is a great entry level robot - it was my first robot when I still wasn't sure if one would work in our small, rather cluttered environment. It is robust, snd was still working great after 4 years hard use, when I gave it away after upgrading to the Omni c20 so we would have active mopping too. HOWEVER: Cons 1. it has ZERO navigation - bumping against walls and furniture is how it knows to turn around and go another direction. It absolutely will hit objects and walls. This also makes it slow - cleaning 175sf takes it about 40-60 minutes. 2. it has the worst tangling brush of any of the robots we have used (we also have a Shark IQ in another part of the house, as well as an Omni c20 in our main space). I had to clean it every time I used it, and you can only cut long hair off it - the brush is a single molded piece and there is no way to get to the ends other than scissors. 3. You can only put it on a schedule with the remote, and it can only do a simple repeat of every day at the same time. 4. It will eat cables (and shoelaces, and yarn, and scarves, and coat sleeves and... anything its path) - get them out of thr way. 5. It will struggle with dark vertical surfaces. We have a black dog gate and it just banged against it repeatedly every time. I don't know if it will notice a dark horizontal surface or not. Pros 1. It vacuums pretty well tbh. Not as good as more powerful vacs, but not bad at all. 2. It does have one of my favorite features ever that I wish mfrs would bring back: a single button to do a "spot clean" so you just take it to where it's needed and push the spot button (fancy vacs have "zone" cleaning tiu can set in the app but, honestly, spot was easier and better lol.) If your expectations are realistic, you don't mind it taking a while to run, and you're willing to clean the brush and bin regularly, it's a good and very affordable robot. If you have a little more budget and want a better - much better - budget robot, look at the Eufy c20. Decent navigation, anti tangle brush that works pretty well, more suction, self empty, and good mop. The c20 is pretty much the answer to all I have ever wanted in a robot within my budget (regularly goes on sale for $399). Sure, there may be "better" models put there, but not that I can afford, so I'm very, very happy with mine for the price!

r/RobotVacuumsQuestion about mopping with pets
9 months ago

Two long haired dogs, plus currently a foster dog. Eufy Omni c20. Floor dries almost immediately. I run it on double mop, and by the time it's gone both directions the mops have used and then wiped up any water. If they come in with wet feet it's dirty again, but since I run it most days I don't really care and just wipe up any big bits, quickly swiffer over just the wet part, or run the mop again as a zone clean. Nbd to me. Dog 1 just goes into another room and gets out of the way without issue. Dog 2 initially barked at the old 11s and G35 and ran away from wherever it was, then decided he didn't care at all and let it literally roll over him until it got his long tail fur caught in it 🤦‍♀️ Then we got the Omni c20 which is more predictable in its route and he figured out just to move away from it. The foster dog who is only here temporarily was initially terrified of it, so I have been running it on demand when they are all outside to minimize drama. In general, I run it when I'm home, just in case (cf tail-hair-in-bot), but they definitely acclimatized over time. Even the Foster has learned to ignore it to some extent.

I cannot adquately express how much I think the mop station is worth it if you're using it on tile/lvp/laminate/hardwood (that can take mopping). HARD YES. I think some people may be pickier than we are and are disappointed if it doesn't make their floors look brand new, but we LOVE LOVE LOVE it. We had a passive mopping unit before and while it was ok, it was nothing like the current spinner/roller ones, which really do a great job. Sure, it will occasionally need a human to go over it, but it will greatly reduce how often, and makes it a whole lot easier. I can imagine that I will still pull out the steamer every few months to get it super clean, but other than that, it's basically set and forget while the C20 does its thing. Works for me!

Mopping is excellent, but if you don't need it you can just turn it off.

I LOVE my C20 for the price and honestly wouldn't have gained much by getting an X10. The navigation is fine - I've had no issues in our space (fairly small but quite a lot of furniture). Object avoidance is OK for big things, not so good for small ones, but we had to clean up for a dumb robot so no big deal. Mopping is excellent. It has been reliable for 9 months and thr hair cutter for the brush in the base station works well. It was a great upgrade for us, and no regrets!

A lot of folks in this sub seem to have very very high expectations for both robots and their floors, and are disappointed if a robot isn't up to their own scrubbing and vac-ing standards. Personally, I'm very happy with the budget/mid Eufy Omni c20. It has run well for nearly a year, does the floors more often than I would have time to do and does a pretty great job, is quiet, has a small footprint, and was $400. r/RobotVacuumsWhy is Eufy so rarely recommended?

I have had 3 and have liked them all for different reasons. US. 1. 11s. Budget model I picked up cheap to see if I would like a robot. It was still working 5 years later when I gave it away. 2. G35. This is the one I have liked least, simple because we got a lemon that broke (base station pins broke off). Eufy replaced the entire unit under warranty, no problems. It's not their greatest model, but at the time was the only one with any kind of mopping option that I could afford - even a wipe was better than nothing. Self empty and vac work great. It went upstairs when I got the c20 last year and works fine as a vac only which is what I need up there. 3. Omni C20. I jumped on it this time last year twhen I saw I could get active mopping and other features I wanted for under $400. It has been a champ all year and I love it as much as I the day I got it. I think if you're on a tight budget and want acceptable customer service, Eufy is the way to go. No,I am not a bot or a shill, just a very average customer on a budget with hairy dogs. I appreciate being able to find units I can afford. The S1 was the golden child a year ago, so think it's fine, other brands have simply caught up with it's features so there are more roller options to choose from.

Eufy Omni c20. Great for the price and does very well in smaller spaces. It has a cutter comb in the base station which handles our dogs' long hair better than any vac we've ever had.

I sometimes wonder if I have the best C20 ever released, as after 14 months I think it works as well as the day it arrived, and I'm always surprised when people cite bad reviews. Are my expectations for a robot too low? No idea, but I think this machine is really good for the price. It handles our long haired dogs and humans well - the cutter comb really works. The only place it is less brilliant is object avoidance, but it's WAY better than our Shark AI, and also has an infinitely better app. Here's the user review I wrote at 5 months: https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/s/A8hllOT4MB

Eufy Omni c20. It's waaayyyy better than the 11s (which is what I came from), and is a perfect upgrade. Can currently be found for just over $300 I believe, and it is worth every penny IMO. We love ours!

I have had the Eufy Omni c20 for 14 months. My needs were active mopping, brush detangling for long hair people and dogs, smaller base station for a small-scale house, and low profile to go under furniture for $400 or less. Bought it November '24 and still 100% happy with it for our needs. I plan to use it until it dies - obviously, no way of knowing how long it will last, but so far so good!

Not in the slightest. It doesn't do it that often, and even if it did I don't mind, as it accurately follows the map it made. Tbh, as long as I don't have to do the work, I don't care if it turns around a few times! It's a huge upgrade from the 11s I came from, too.

The detangle cutter comb works well, and the design for cleaning the axles/bearings of the brush roller is genius: you just pop the ends off so you can get ALL of of the hair and debris thdt gets wrapped there, without scissors. Not sure if Eufy now uses that design for all its robots, but it really is great.

r/RobotVacuumsLow furniture: Eufy or Roborock
about 2 months ago

The c20 object avoidance is fine around bigger obstacles like a chair that has moved; it's not great seeing small things on the ground like toys. It might touch the furniture as it first registers something new is there, but it doesn't crash into it with force, and has not, for us, got stuck on anything.

r/RobotVacuumsWhen will robovacs actually be affordable ?

I've been very happy with the Eufy Omni C20, which is now priced in "budget" territory even though the feature set is closer to "mid". It's not a flagship. It doesn't have top-of-the-line object avoidance. But it has done a GREAT job of mopping and vac'ing in my smallish space, and handles dog hair like a champ. It's been a lifechanging addition for us. I believe Dreame/Mova has a couple of models in a similar under-$400 price band. I believe they all vac without using the mop features - we love it and use it all the time, but if you don't want it you can just run "vac only".

r/RobotVacuumsRecommendations: Long Dog Hair but No Camera?

Omni c20. No camera. We have long haired dogs and the cutter comb on works well to keep the brush relatively clear, and the ends pop off the roller to make cleaning the axles of hair a piece of cake. Object avoidance isn't best-of-the-best, but it's fine going around big items like furniture, not so good with dog toys or dishes, but we just clear before it runs. The C28 has just been released it seems, so the price on the c20 has dropped well bow what I paid in 2024.

Navigation and object avoidance aren't the same thing: navigation is finding its way round your house. Object avoidance is making sure it sees but doesn't roll over things on the floor eg toys, electrical cables etc. I'm a fan of Eufy (I've had several since 2028)- I have the budget-minded C20, but a lot of folks like the E25, and the successor to the c20, the C28, has just been released.

I've had my c20 for over a year and still love it. I've had three different Eufy robots since 2017 and no regrets. Here's what I posted about the c20 after 5 months use: https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/s/wcdbzVnu5K

r/RobotVacuumsEvery brand says they solved hair tangling but is ""zero-tangle"" actually zero or just less frequent maintenance?

The Eufy cutter comb in the base station on the c20 (and a few other models!) works great. I still have to clean the ends/axles where our dog's long hair gets wrapped, but they just pop off and it's super easy to remove. This model has been infinitely easier to keep hair free than any other vac we've ever had, traditional or robot. I've never had to use scissors, which is already a bonus! Right now our dog is blowing coat so I have to do it after most runs, but in more normal times I just check it when I empty and fill the water tanks.

r/RobotVacuumsEufy Omni C20- any long term users?

We got ours shortly after the release in November 2024 and I still think it is the best household purchase I have made in decades! Absolutely love it. We have long hair dogs, and use it on tile, hardwood, and area rugs. It's a small space, so the smaller base is great for us, (and we don't have to worry about battery lasting - never an issue for us). Navigation has been great, and while it doesn't have best-of-the-best object avoidance for smaller objects, it is absolutely fine with furniture and bigger things, eg boxes, snd goes around them without issue. The only thing I have needed to replace other than ordinary consumables is the front wheel, which got very slightly damaged and was collecting hair, which interferes with docking. I wrote to Eufy asking how to buy one, and even though it's out of warranty they sent me one for free and then followed up to make sure it has worked! I'm sure there are fancier models, but this has honestly been great for us at the price we could afford. Here's the review I wrote 5 months in and I stand by all of it. The ONLY thing I could wish for in a next Gen model is that it lifted the mopheads slightly higher when they're not in use so it would be guaranteed to clear any area rug, (but that is as much to do with our soft rug as the unit tbh). https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/s/wcdbzVnu5K

r/RobotVacuumsAre “low-maintenance” robot mops actually low maintenance? Real experiences needed
3 months ago

Two hairy dogs and a Eufy Omni c20 here. We are usually DEATH to vacs. I check the brush every couple of runs based on past experiences with other vacs - traditional and robot - but the cutter brush does well and it is usually pretty clean. I pop the ends off every so often to clean accumulated hair off the bearings/axle; recently learned how to clean the front wheel out and again nbd (once I found out how to do it). I swap the dirty tank when the clean one is empty, or every week-ish, whichever comes first. Have only needed to swap the bag out 4x in a year - nbd. Swapped the mop pads once while I washed the other set - the self clean does a good job, so again nbd. I clean the filters if performance drops or the robot sends me a reminder. It's pretty low maintenance compared to any other unit we've ever had.

Tl;dr I still absolutely love it - for the price, I don't think you can do much better. It is regularly on sale, and for under $500 (I got mine for $399 during Black Friday sales) it's a great budget model with a LOT of bells and whistles for the price. I'm sure there are pricier models out there that can do more, but this thing is imo a lot of vac for the money. Our home: long haired dogs and people, tile, hardwood and rugs. Pros 1. Navigation/mapping: great 2. Reliability: so far so good! 3. Smaller footprint and lower clearance (ideal for us as we don't have a lot of room for the base, and it gets under the edge of our kitchen cabinets) 4. Brush roller cleaning: the automatic cleaning/cutter comb is good for the big stuff, and accessing the roller bearings is a breeze: the ends twist off so you can just pull off anything that got wound onto them easily (in our case, lots of long dog hair...) 6. Mopping: works best when you run it every day - my floors were spotless when it was daily (which I can't do right now due to fostering a dog who's scared of it so I have to be home to use it) - it is still mostly keeping up though, even with less frequent outings. 7. Suction: more than ample - in fact, I run it on a lower setting than any other vac we've used. 8. Scheduling/app: I find it mostly intuitive. Cons Object avoidance: it avoids big things like furniture, bags, shoes etc. no problem. Not so good with small items like socks/dog toys. For us this is nbd as we got used to clearing for a dumber robot, but for some this could be a deal breaker. Minor niggles (very minor - none are dealbreakers imo) 1. Fine in our smaller space, but in larger areas it might need to go back and recharge mid run. 2. Consumables have to be replaced more often than some, eg cleaning will deteriorate if you don't replace the brush guard every so often. 3. The cover for the bag housing in the base is a little awkward to remove and replace. 4. Sometimes the tanks don't immediately reset (status ring turn to white) when you replace them - it's usually fine if you wait a moment or two. 5. It doesn't remind you to empty/clean the bottom tray unless it's actually about to overflow. 6. Can't turn off the brush roller for softer rugs. 7. it occasionally has a minor nervous breakdown after a firmware update - just goes in circles. Rebooting fixes things. Other: I was initially annoyed by the requirement to ONLY use Eufy cleaning solution, as $25/two bottles seemed exorbitant. However, it's actually pretty economical as you only use a capful. Even though I add it every time and refill the tank 1-2x a week, I'm not even halfway through the first bottle yet. I definitely notice a difference in effectiveness between plain water and solution runs. Overall: It is truly one of the best domestic purchases I have ever made, and a huge improvement over previous vac robots we've had. :)

I got the Eufy Omni C20 hybrid and it mops, vacuums, does edges, maps, cuts the hair, cleans the mop heads AND drys them. Does a good job. Bought on Amazon in a lightning deal. I have no complaints and it saves my back and hours of vacuuming, sweeping and mopping. I have a low pile rug (everything else is mfg wood) and it always looks great. I also have two giant long haired (nonshedding excessively) cats. I shed hair a LOT. Worse than the cats. It works so well. I’m super happy with it.

I did months of research on this and settled on a Eufy C20. It has a mop and it self cleans. I loved it so much that I bought my best friend one and plan to buy one for someone else who is close to me for the holidays. It regularly goes on sale for under $400. It's worth the price.

If you want something that actually mops hard floors well without daily pad washing, I’d recommend the Eufy Omni C20 as your go‑to under $500. It’s simpler but gets the job done with rotating pads and low maintenance. The Mova P10 pro ultra, is a solid option too. It is great on mixed floors, but it’s currently over your budget. So for vinyl/hardwood and a tighter budget, Eufy’s the better fit. If you have more specific needs,[ this comparison ](https://www.reddit.com/r/VacuumsTips/comments/1pv7usl/robot_mopping_finally_works_the_models_that/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)might help.

r/RobotVacuums2 weeks after Prime Day, do you still like your robot?

I bought the eufy Omni c20. Honestly a much more expensive model than I was previously looking for. With prime day deals I decided to go for something with a mop function which I had not previously considered. My criteria was something that self emptied the vacuum and the mop. Also something that could map multiple floors. The c20 was the one that fit my criteria and price range on prime day. Overall I am extremely happy with it. It took a couple days to get it programmed in a way I was happy , there is enough customizing options for my needs. I am a very lazy cleaner with a lot of animals, so these things were made for me. Would be nice if it had a bit more suction, but after its first few runs and the floors got to a decent state , it seems to be doing a good job. I was a bit disappointed to find you couldn’t put detergent in the mop water, but that seems to be a thing with all of them, so not an issue with this particular one. Overall very happy, I wish it was in my budget to have a seperate one for the second floor.
