I use a Eufy 11s max. For the record, I’m 100% blind and this vacuum isn’t traditionally accessible. That being said it comes with a remote control, which is very easy to figure out and remember, and it only has one button on top to stop and start it and we only use four buns on the remote, which makes it a very easy vacuum to just own. I highly recommend this model if you have non-carpeted floors or even if you do have carpeted floors, it does a really great job. It does not have any lighter so it will just go wherever it goes, but overall with about two runs a week it covers my whole entire apartment perfectly fine. Like all robot vacuums, and all vacuums in general you should pick up and tidy up your place like for example, loose socks on the ground and wires that it could potentially suck up. It does do a great job of detecting when there’s a wire in it and it will stop so it won’t damage your wires. Slightly on the higher price for non-App enabled vacuums but for $160 USD I think it’s a great buy. It is low profile so I can get under a reasonably height couch and a reasonably high bed plus it will run for about two hours on its auto setting or about an hour and a half to an hour depending on how much carpet you have on its highest setting. I’m not going to lie to you. I bought it thinking it was App supported since most of their vacuums are, but I was disappointed that it wasn’t App supported but actually after using it for a week I didn’t mind that at all the remote is actually pretty handy and like I said it’s super easy to remember. Last but not least you have to empty it manually we empty it about maybe once every week and a half or two weeks but like all vacuums, you have to empty it in one way or another and it’s really easy to empty.

I have Eufy Robot Vacuum 11S MAX they are on the cheaper side ( $150). They have great reviews for working on hardwood floors. I have dark wood floors they need to be vacuumed at least every other day. I don’t know if they are good on carpet. But you can check reviews. They don’t have the mapping thing, but they can run in different modes, I usually start with vacuum running around the edges of the rooms. This mode is great for kitchen because all crumbs gather at the edges and corners. Later I let it run wild on regular cycle. It goes without any plan but if I let it run for 30-40 min entire downstairs is very clean. Mine is not that loud. I like to have my coffee and watch it. It gives me a lot of joy watching it cleaning. I think I’m happy mostly because I don’t have to clean. But they can sometimes get stuck so I wouldn’t let it run and leave. I have ikea Poang chairs and it gets stuck only on them. Also if you have any cables or chargers they need to permanently tucked in or you will have to put them away every time you vacuum. Another thing I like, it’s very easy to use, I didn’t have to download any apps. It has simple remote. The replacement battery is like $20 and replacement accessories are cheap too.

Eufy s11 max works great on normal mode. 2 cats and a dog and I would never cut its efficiency at collecting hair. I will admit on max suction it’s loud but the dust and dander it picks up is amazing

We have a EUFY11S vacuum, besides it getting stuck here and there or binding up itself after vacuuming up doggy pads, shoe laces and stuff that shouldn't be vacuumed up (100% our fault) , we love it. Idk what some of these guys are talking about, my wife loves these type of things as gifts, hell she even will explicitly request cleaning gadgets as gifts. On the flip side I explicitly request tools as gifts. It didn't imply anything bad if everything is explicit from the get go. I expect her to clean/cook more than I do around the house (although I do help because I'm an adult) and she expects me to do the handy stuff around the house (although she does attempt but it's 100x better to just ask me)

You're probably looking for the "okay-est" since I doubt any could be considered best. You might want to start with a cheapo like Eufy 11s or 11max or whatever their low-end model is called. We ran those for years and they're okay. It's good training wheels for a $1,000 model since you're still going to have to put up with much of the same pain in the ass maintenance. See if you like it and are OK with clearing the brush and banging the filter and digging out the hair and so forth. If you have pets or even more than a few people with long hair, be prepared to clean the brush with scissors or a knife every run. None seems particularly great on carpet. You're just not going to get as good a vacuum job as you will with a power brush on a Miele or whatever.

My old fashioned Eufy 11s max is controlled by a remote. It doesn’t make a map, just bounces around at random. I like it that way: my previous mapping vacuum was too easily confused by moved furniture or being picked up when it got stuck.

> but something will break or get clogged and you won’t be able to source parts for it or something dumb like that. Totally agree. My eufy 11s has been in service for 5 years. While the main parts remain original, I've replaced some accessories a few times (from cheap amazon stores). This hasn't affected its performance, it still works as well as when it arrived. I see it as a mutual process: it cleans your rooms, and you maintain it regularly to help it work for you longer.

If you want better obstacle avoidance, then x10 is worth it. I totally agree with u/licquia, obstacle avoidance is related to price, but x10 is a robot vacuum that justifies its price. My previous 11s max was replaced for bumping into things. X10 has made me realize how advanced robot vacuums are. It can easily avoid cables and slippers. I haven't encountered many problems with corners and edges. Its D-shape design has been very helpful in that regard.

I ended up going over to eufy and paying $69 for a refurbished 11s Max. I have a first gen 11, and while it is now struggling with the mysterious front bumper is stuck error, that seems like a relatively easy fix. Other than that most of the time it's still working just fine. It's sucked up a dead mouse last week. Or at least I hope the mouse was dead. So it's got enough suction for me. So instead of trying to navigate the confusing Prime deals, I just bought something for a price that if it dies in a year I don't care

11S Max which is a cheaper model, although it looks like the C10 is on a huge sale right now on Amazon. I don't have the C10 so I can't speak for it on personal experience, but the 11S Max has been great so I'd assume the more expensive models are also good machines
