Based on 1 year's data from Mar 17, 2026 How it works
I’m in a similar boat (US based) with extensive hardwood floors and scattered low pile area rugs. 2 young children and plenty of long hair to vacuum. Bought the S1 Pro in 11/2024 - clearly outdated by the robot vac/mop updated by all brands in 2025. Hands-off and accurate navigation, thorough maintenance mopping (not 3 day old ketchup as the marketing tests love), and corner/edge vacuuming are the biggest priorities. I’m ordering the MOVA Z60 for the 9/16 release - $1199 w/ 3 yr warranty is attractive. Don’t think the price will be lower than that even w/ Black Friday/Christmas. I’m tempted by the Eufy S2 Pro as well - the water ionization is honestly more a gimmick, and the seemingly similar large dirty water tank is still there - and it’s my least favorite thing about the S1. But the vacuum tech is upgraded in addition to extending side brush. Narwal Flow I think is also a reasonable option - but the fact that they will likely release the upgraded version after 1/2026 makes me hesitant. The pre-order for $1090 w/ 3 yr warranty and extra accessories pack was a steal though.
I saw it, im slightly disappointed, i was really expecting great things from this. I did end up purchasing it today at the discount, I’m coming from the Saros 10R so im going to give it a try in my home. But I might be interested in the Flow 2 as well, or even going to the Saros 20R since Roborock usually does an upgrade offer.
I went for it. While I like watching reviews and appreciate them. Ultimately I have to try it for myself and my situation. The return period is 45 days I believe so I’m going to give it a really good test in that amount of time and see how it does.
Take S2 omni one of the best right now in the market 🙂
I have the Eufy S2 Omni and I really dont want to give it back. I got it last Wednesday a day before the recall for the mysterious hardware upgrade. My challenges are the navigation is not the best. The robot won't get edges under the toe kicks of the cabinets and seems to do its on thing. That being said, one of the side brushes was defective and im waiting on the replacement to come so that could be a reason why the edge cleaning is subpar. I was hoping for a firmware upgrade since the bot was so new but since the recall im sure im in robot purgatory and the S2 (my version) will no longer be supported. If I have it on the highest settings, no joke, takes about 7 hours to do 550 square feet with 3 recharges. I know it's recalled for some reason. Im not waiting till April if this thing gets released on time. That being said. I LOVE THE SUCTION AND MOPPING! It really is different from all the rest. It almost has a Dyson effect. The floors feel fresh and clean. the mop is super powerful and I love the 32 jets for water vs the competition which isn't even close. Im torn here, What do I do? I need a device now....... I told EUFY customer service I'll ship the S2 I have back when the new one is released since its under warranty. Im also looking at the Dreame Aqua 10 Ultra, Mova Z60 Ultra, and the Roborock Curv2 Flow Does anyone have advice, btw the 3 bots named above have awesome reviews (prob all paid) and are def 100's cheaper.
My argument is I will give it back. It's under warranty and essentially it has an issue. If I send it back today or in April what's the difference if it's not a hazard. I need a vacuum today........and really dont want to settle. took me a long time deciding on the S2 cause I was worried about the Eufy name vs Roborock.....I never even thought of Mova or dreame even though I know they're all under Xinomi
Persistence prevails Eufy is letting me keep my S2 and letting me exchange it when the new upgraded S2 comes out https://preview.redd.it/xwtbfhf4d9gg1.jpeg?width=1260&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=07b47dd9920b5a9c1c1344256aad6b05cc1081a0
So I got pushed firmware updates up to 4.1.1 still having the tow kick issues maybe it's slightly better but then I deleted the map when the new firmware came out and now it's bad again https://preview.redd.it/iuiq5lehpxig1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b83dd347dcab0567b2c88b733ab446fcc92dc6d2
The entire process it never went back yes 4 inch or taller
Since it seems that you are a tester, I'm fine keeping my unit right? You're still using it right?
Eufy Omni S2, it’s the new flagship eufy and it seems budget isn’t a problem - I have a Eufy Omni S1 pro and it does a stellar job day or night, cleans up after 2 Australian shepherds that shed 24/7, avoids cords, tangles or any need for intervention. It vacuums well, it mops even better.
do you have any carpet? Most of the reviews im seeing say that the s2 is still underwhelming when it comes to carpet cleaning, and it doesnt clean edges that well. You probably shouldnt get the dyson vac and stay with the main like 4 good companies like roborock, dreame, movva, or eufy. If you want a roller, you should probably go with smth like the mova z60 roller or dreame aqua 10.
Then yeah if you don’t need carpet performance you should def get the eufy, I honestly think they have the best mop roller technology out of any company so far.
I pre-ordered it to replace my Roomba Max 705 Combo that Amazon is taking back. I went with the Eufy S2 over the other roller mop robots because of the electrolyzed water function. I like the idea of the system preventing bacterial buildup in the mop roller. I’m also hoping it will help with the dock dirty water tank in preventing smells. The Roomba is just rancid after about a week. I think I’ll inevitably get the auto drain and refill kit for this robot if I end up keeping it.
The new Eufy S2 lifts the chassis up to get on to area rugs, etc and can vacuum carpet up to 2” high. The ability to lift the chassis is a game changer. It will automatically recognize the different flooring types as well and you can set it to only vacuum the carpet but mop the tile as well in that small area between the 2 rugs.
No one recommending one of our very own vacuum chef is a tragedy.... He was the first person to review the Eufy S2 Omni and note its faults.
https://www.instagram.com/reel/DOKNmASCiX5/ 14N of downwards force when mopping. Higher than other roller mops but not the highest as the MOVA Z60 Ultra is at 17N.
I’m also seeing them market their “AI” a lot more by stating how powerful their chips are for running AI by stating how many tflops of processing power it has but bigger definitely doesn’t mean better as any reasonable person would know a powerful chip is going to be wasted if the software isn’t good. I am hopeful the eufy s2 is going to help with the filtration but cyclonic vacuuming doesn’t always mean better filtration.
