"When i run everyday to vacuum first then mop, the floors were noticeably cleaner and my wood floors had a sheen to them and felt softer over time. Much more barefoot friendly if you ask me."

"Both have an auto-extending side brush for corners and an auto-extending rear mop head for mopping right up to the edge of walls. Both features worked incredibly well in our tests."

"It is exceptional at hard floors its mopping and vacuuming capabilities are superb. ... It’s amazing at hard floors we get it and it was in my experience."

"Overall, for $450 (even $500 like it is now) it’s absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it. ... It’s a night and day difference coming from my eufy l40 hybrid. NIGHT AND DAY. ... Resounding BUY from me."

"For the price and what it does and I never have to worry about gritty floors for my bare feet...best damn entry level vacuum robot from where I stand."

"For 500 on the mova p10 pro ultra you get so much more It’s hard to write it all out lol. ... It will 100% be worth the extra money (for something like that) over the bobsweep and roomba. ... Basically you can spend $300 on something that will kinda work, or 500 or something that is way more set and forget."

"The best feature of the L40/X40/p10 pro ultra is that they have class leading object avoidance so you don't have to pick up your cat's toys or prep your house every time you want to run the robot meaning you can run it on a daily schedule which will keep your house cleaner. ... I run my X40s daily and they never get stuck on cables, cat toys and other random junk that ends up on the floor."

"one of the best features is probably the obstacle avoidance. ... In the 300 hours that I've run the robots, they have practically never gotten stuck on cords, cat toys or other common household obstacles, maybe 1-2% of the time. ... This means I can run the robot every night reliably and wake up to the robot sitting in its dock and have a clean floor to start the day."

"It can actually navigate over bath mats on stone floor (my eufy would never)."

"The L40 is one of the top performing robots for the money and has excellent hair tangle resistance since you can run the tricut brush. ... I have 2x Dreame x40s and they have the same brush system as the l40 and I have one running the tricut and one without it. Both have been excellent with resisting hair wrap with the tricut having zero hair tangled on it and the regular brush having a small amount on the ends."

I don’t understand why it doesn’t even get short hair Chihuahua hair off my low pile rug that’s not even a few hours old after running the large vacuum. ... The brush, well either brush option, doesn’t agitate carpets which is weird it’s bounces around is flexible up and down."

Yes, and the mova p10 pro ultra is basically the dreame L40 ultra So whichever you can buy cheaper, get that. (If you're in California, the L40 is on sale for $449 at any store until mothers day? Comes with a few accessories)

It was fine but I returned it for 2 reasons 1) not great in corners (as expected) 2) if I forgot to pick up a wire, this thing was gonna send me an alert while I was at work telling me " mop pad came off" The L40 was on sale this week so I upgraded.

Bang for buck - mova p10 ultra Money is no object/I want the best - roborock Sara's 10r or dreame x50 ultra Budget/cheapest option changes alot based on sales. Just the other week I bought a refurbished L10s ultra for $240 Honorable mention - the new eufy e28 can be had for $800. I think its worth considering because the roller mop system they have going seems to do really good for mopping in general.

Well, Actually, I think his "love" of the P10 Pro Ultra is based on the amazing deal, and the features you get at that price point. It's always human nature to "root" for the little guy. I have a P10 Pro Ultra, and I really do love it - and it's one of the best robots for the money. Even in regards to it's somewhat "weaker" rating for mopping dried up food stains? Well, it sure works wonders on my kitchen floor, and dried coffee and food stains are cleaned up fab, and done so with one pass (I was using 2x mopping passes based on many reviews saying that the p10 Pro Ultra is somewhat "weak" on mopping). So, I not really faulting J-dad for his real love of the p10 pro - it really was a price break-through for what you get. Currently, his home unit he's using is a the P50, and he also (rightfully) raved about that product. Not really sure if that syrup example changes much of the valuable information he's shared......

I have a cheap Mova P10 Ultra Pro and we have an anti fatigue mat that we use in front of our kitchen sink and one time I removed it and set it in the garage thinking the robot would mop where it was and it literally mopped around the anti fatigue mat perfectly as if it was still there (could see where the transition was from mat to hardwood). Amazing.

r/RobotVacuumsIs there any reason to not get the Mova P10 Pro ultra over more expensive brands?

I just bought one and yes it is an incredible value and I’m glad I bought it. Is it perfect?? Absolutely not. I’m finding that if expectations are reasonable you’ll be happy. For example my hardwood floors were dirty and for the first three days I ran a daily mop cycle. Then last night ran an intensive mop cycle on a 3x3 area and then used a clean paper towel to wipe that area and there was visible dirt. Had I started with a perfectly clean floor could the P10 keep it that way? I suspect so but am not certain and that’s what I’m trying to find out now. I suspect that to get next-level go from dirty to spotless floors we’ll need a roller mop that can put a significant amount of downward force on the floor. I just feel like we aren’t there quite yet in the research I’ve done.

Probably the Mova P10 Pro Ultra Gen 2, A lil over budget, but its def worth it in my opinion. You could also get hte gen 1 as its cheaper now.

You should probably return it if you just baught it, roomba as a brand is so far behind the other brand like dreame and Roborock and movva, that’s litterly why roomba went bankrupt. For around thr same price if not cheaper you can get the movva p10 pro ultra which has way more features

r/RoborockNeed help choosing a model

I’m not tryna be mean, but you should definetly try a brand like Roborock or dreame at least once, they are wayyyy better, roomba is so behind in the robot vacuum industry, that’s the reason they went bankrupt and were bought buy some other Chinese robot vacuum brand. The MOVA p10 pro ultra is very well priced, and has so many good features that roomba just doesn’t have even on their more expensive vacuums.

Side brush extends, but no longer spins. The gears are perfectly fine, so most likely a dead motor. It was also making grinding sounds when changing directions, but that mostly stopped for now. Though it did make a bit of extra noise when rolling over a threshold. It’s also a little bit of rattle to it. Certainly not as quiet as when it was new.

Get it. It's pretty amazing. Free returns at Amazon if you don't like it or another one you have your eye on hits a super low price. I bought a p10 pro ultra early in case I would be disappointed. Then I'd be good to return it and grab a BF deal. Don't think I'll be shopping anymore at this point.

Just got a mova p10 pro ultra and loving it so far. Floors are crazy clean, rugs and good, obstacles are avoided. Very impressed so far, but hoping the joy (and the battery) lasts for years. I've got it set to aggressively go after the carpets at the expense of time and battery. Once it's all done w a full vacuum, the mopping starts. Mopping has been good so far. I'm coming from an older ecozy. It was very nice, but the battery stopped holding a charge. Obstacle avoidance was not really a thing when it was made, and the mopping is just dragging a wet pad around haha. So, I may be a bad candidate for a level-headed review... But bang for buck, I'm loving the mova.

r/RobotVacuumsWhich should I choose? Dyson, Roborock, or Shark?

It mops the hardwood and avoids the rugs. Does a great job of it so far. Even has a setting to tell it which direction the wood slats run in so that it mops in the same direction. That helps avoid weird marks on the floor.

That looks broken. I have had a p10 for a few months and have loved it so far. Side note: I am not a paid shill, but do crazy levels of research and comparison before any significant purchase. I picked the P10 bc it seemed to offer the best value and set of features for me and my house. I've been super satisfied *so far*. HOWEVER, I am totally open to becoming a paid shill if anyone is needing one.

Just for fun... I got the mova p10 pro ultra. Cheaper than the dreame ae, less suction, and it doesn't drop off the mop pads. Bought it early to try out while waiting to see if the AE price dropped enough to make me happy. Been loving the mova except I'm watching Amazon like a hawk because someone posted that it dropped to 399 about 3 days ago and almost immediately went back up. I'm hoping that was a mistaken reveal of their black friday offer

Slightly over budget but check out the Dreame l40 ultra or Mova p10 pro ultra. These are essentially the same (sister companies) and you will not come anywhere close to beating the performance for the price. You can get the [l40 ultra on eBay refurbished for $449](https://ebay.us/m/UROL86) right now, or the [mova p10 pro ultra](https://www.amazon.com/MOVA-P10-Pro-Ultra-360%C2%B0Obstacle/dp/B0DGR1VDTB/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?adgrpid=174216578632&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.NzCqKu3nlFFduePFwJznvA5wGHFgebsrMb8FS35FSbaAUmGXuS6Vg62wl60HDi0NsfL0sKU-daX-PmHZhmyCwF-V_KiTFkifQit2gbXYduq_B8rTniWPsOrLCWF6s1as32CqRkvY6O4Mt6RDFrb1dYWtDLseRLNlCsXjWt7Alc8ImSH_68Z_4NVqobo0YugC6y70fpv6CAUrDbqQL-fL_A.sEE2o97Dh-r320pNogxmJHwg9TEW_phCHW3zd6dHgs8&dib_tag=se&hvadid=729579260533&hvdev=m&hvexpln=68&hvlocphy=9061184&hvnetw=g&hvocijid=10306761465268670229--&hvqmt=e&hvrand=10306761465268670229&hvtargid=kwd-2382339236817&hydadcr=27756_14519795&keywords=mova+p10+pro+ultra&mcid=10a88f25aed8360a84279a2103f713f1&qid=1753128734&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm&psc=1) is $499 new on Amazon. Only real difference between the 2 is the l40 ultra can drop its mop pads at the station. I can personally speak to how well they work with pet hair. I have a chow chow mix that sheds an INSANE amount. Ever since owning one of these and running it nightly, my floors are furless. Highly recommend! Also you don’t realize you need mopping til you actually get one that can. I went in not caring either but so glad I got one that does.

r/RobotVacuumsLooking for a robot vacuum and mop with a dock and dustbin under 500$
8 months ago

iRobot is leagues behind the competition so I would avoid.. Shark is fine but there are better options for the money. And dust bags are a positive. They are cleaner, healthier and easier to maintain. Costs less than <$20/year for bags (Amazon knockoffs are cheap) and if you really want, you can reuse any bags by just dumping out its contents. With all that said, Mova p10 pro ultra is the one to get for <$500. And you’re in luck bc it is currently on sale for $499. You will not beat the performance and features at that price.

Obstacle avoidance is pretty good. It will bump sometimes but more often than not it will recognize the object in front of it and stop before hitting it. It also will populate your map telling you what it thinks those objects are like this (the circular blue icons): https://preview.redd.it/dglsvml1x0ff1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e60d2d6a16424a88ba90bcac14f335880b383f34 Mapping is good and only takes a few minutes and continues to learn the more it runs.

Is there a particular robot you had in mind? I personally think the best mid range option is the Mova p10 pro ultra when it’s under $500. And right now it’s [$469 at Walmart.](https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mova-Robot-Vacuum-Mop-13-000Pa-Suction-140-F-Hot-Water-Auto-Mop-Washing-Drying-Dual-Spinning-Extenable-Mop-10-5mm-Lifting-Carpet-360-Obstacle-Avoidan/16322614507?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=102786031&gclsrc=aw.ds&&adid=2222222222816322614507_102786031_181623557182_22934406472&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=770864559835&wl4=pla-2417713174710&wl5=1014218&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=5584646462&wl11=online&wl12=16322614507_102786031&veh=sem&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22934406472&gbraid=0AAAAADmfBIoi3_Yo7lf3nY9jpEMmLKgAq&gclid=Cj0KCQjw3aLHBhDTARIsAIRij58Le4QBgEgxpDCbf2ji31rAlnSzx2h8Tn-1MsukUvbyaIGwC1FgjGUaAsLzEALw_wcB) Lowest I’ve ever seen it is $449 so it’s still a solid deal. But otherwise you’ll likely find the best deals on many other options around Black Friday.

r/RobotVacuumsAffordable options for robot vacuums
9 months ago

Dreame l40 ultra or Mova p10 pro ultra are solid and can often be found on sale for around $500. They are basically the same with the main difference being that the l40 can drop its mop pads at its base station. Don’t know what your budget is but at that value it is incredibly hard to beat. Keep an eye out on Amazon they should at the very least be back on sale on prime day.

r/RobotVacuumsIf money wasn’t an issue, what’s the best robot vacuum right now?

Well said. I’ve tried a few of the pricier ones and just bought a Dreame l40 ultra as my “budget” option to compare. While I think the pricier ones are a bit better in performance (in some ways, not all) it just feels silly spending $800+ on a machine whose features will be dated in just a couple years. I mean just take the Dreame x40 ultra for example. Last year they sold new at $1900. Now you can get one for around $500. And You cannot beat the value of the l40 ultra or Mova p10 pro ultra. I think it’s the perfect robot for most peoples needs.

r/RobotVacuumsIs a robot vac/ mop worth it?

FWIW I always thought it was gimmicky until I bought a good one. Now I wondered why I didn’t buy it a long time ago. Especially with modern features like self emptying dust bins and water. Are you in the US? Idk if this is in your budget range but you should check out the mova p10 pro ultra or dreame l40 ultra. They are probably the best value out there for under $500.

r/RobotVacuumsPet hair: Will a robot vacuum help?

Absolutely. I have a chow chow mix that sheds an insane amount. I kinda had just accepted the fact that there would always be tumbleweeds of dog fur everywhere and have lived with it for years. Always thought robot vacs were a gimmick until I tried one.they absolutely work. It picks up 99% of my dogs fur and I run it daily. I was kicking myself for not investing sooner. Check out the mova p10 pro ultra or the dreame l40 ultra. These are the most recommended in that price range. Very hard to beat that value for the features and performance it comes with at that price.

r/RobotVacuumsHelp me decide!

Mova p10 pro should be <$500 on October prime day. I have the dreame version of it (l40 ultra) and have been using it for the past 3 months. It’s a solid performer but I wouldn’t say carpet suction is the best for pet fur (I have a dog that sheds an insane amount) but hard floor vacuuming picks up pretty much everything. Mopping is good if you have non textured flooring, but same can be said for most spin mops. I do think it is the best you’ll get in the price range when on sale <$500 and is often at the top of best rated robot vacuum lists. I'm just one person but I went through a similar dilemma. I also bought a Roborock S8 Maxv Ultra which arrived defective, returned it and off of ebay I purchased a refurbished Mova P10 Pro Ultra from Mova. I absolutely love it because from what I read the expensive robots have so many bells and whistles that if their break out of warranty you're kinda out of luck but for less than half the price you get a robot that pretty much does the same things. Good luck whatever you get! This is the link to Mova's ebay listing if you want to look https://ebay.us/m/vYr5tU

I agree with the people suggesting you find something used. I bough a refurbished Mova P10 Pro Ultra recently & think it's an excellent value. Maybe look for a used one on Ebay or the marketplaces like Facebook. Good luck!

I got the P10 Pro Ultra for $450 in July's Prime day, I'd say you wait until tomorrow to decide because that robot has been really good all this time.
