"My old robot would have been instantly stuck thanks to my dog, who loves to sploot right in the middle of the hallway. But the MOVA navigated everything without getting stuck once. What impressed me most was watching its adaptive AI learn in real time. On day one, it clumsily tried to climb the tripod legs. By day two, it was more cautious, riding up on them only about half the time. On day three, it had figured it out completely and cleaned neatly along the legs without mounting them at all."
"I left the little door under the stairs open during a later clean, and boom — it updated the map on the fly and cleaned that newly discovered room without needing me to remap anything manually. ... It constantly adjusts, recognizing furniture shifts, new areas, or open doors, or if you've moved a rug, which is huge if you’re not always resetting your home to a perfect layout before cleaning."
"Impressively, the robot managed to escape my shower’s 3cm threshold using its secondary wheels, part of MOVA’s so-called StepMaster system. Older robots would have gotten stuck in there during mapping. I actually expected to configure this manually in the app, but the robot automatically recognized the threshold as passable and added it to the map. Nice."

"This is a very hands off robot as it cleans the filter, the mops, and the base station for you. ... It’ll dry the dustbin, dustbag, and mops to prevent mildew from growing."
"the MOVA V50 Ultra can dry it ’s dustbin and dustbag to prevent mildew unlike the other choices which brings it above the other robots"
"MOVA’s V50 ultra is the most hands off robot vacuum combo I can think of since it can clean its own filter and the washboard very well like the dreame X50 ultra but also be able to dry the dustbin and the dustbag to prevent any mold from growing in there."

"And the anti-tangle claims? Not just marketing. Even waist-length hair—longer than the advertised 11.8” (30 cm) limit—didn’t tangle in the TroboWave™ dual brushes, the side brush, or the omnidirectional wheel. ... It was also brilliant on carpets, where the dual-brush system agitated and lifted my dog’s fur far more effectively than my old single-brush bot ever managed."
"For fur, absolutely. The TriCut brush on my old robot (same vacuum dustbin design as the p50) couldn’t consistently pick up fur as well from carpets compared to the dual antitangle brushes on my V50. ... picks up much more fur (the most important aspect for me)"
"Probably the most important pet-related feature so far is the AI obstacle recognition. That means when my 16-year-old dog has an accident on the tile, the vacuum (so far—crossing fingers) has been able to identify it and avoid it. That one feature alone is worth everything."

"The mopping has been improved with tilting mop pads (up to 5°) to automatically adjust to the floor level and can spin up to 260RPM over the X50’s maximum of 180RPM if it detects a liquid or dried on mess."
"I’ve measured the water outlet temperature of the MOVA v50 ultra and it could easily reach 80°C but for some reason one side of the mop washboard was able to get to 88.5°C. ... When I check the dirty water tank after it has cleaned the kitchen floors, the amount of oil floating on top of the dirty water is *a lot*. ... the hot water mop washing has effectively worked in getting rid of grease from my mops. ... it clearly lifted the grease so I’m fine with that."
"My V50’s dustbag got stuffed with fur after a month and a half and it was all dry and stink free because it can dry the dustbin and dustbag"

"What followed was a masterclass in intelligent cleaning. The robot: Correctly identified the spill and its size, marked it on the app, and slowed its approach. Increased suction while reducing the side brush speed to gently sweep granules inward. Lifted the side brush entirely when crossing the main spill to prevent scattering. Made two slow, methodical passes in perpendicular directions, creating a grid-like pattern. After the first pass, every large granule was gone. After the second, so was the fine coffee dust. A perfect pickup."
"For pet fur, I’d prioritize the dreame X50 Ultra or the MOVA V50 Ultra (...) since it has a rather large dustbin at 395mL and has a fur compression feature that works so the dustbin won’t get as easily clogged with fur and also have empty space at the sides"

"I returned mine due to this issue. ... I do feel like this started happening after it updated to 2501 firmware."
"It's also been identifying patterns in my carpet as cables and not cleaning 25% of my carpet in the living room because of this."
"I think the main issue when it's on carpet that has patterns on it is it a mistake some of those patterns as cords or it's detecting stains or more dirt."

"Mopping: Mova Z60 or Ecovacs Deebot X8, X9, or T80 / Yeedi S14 > Mova Z50 > eufy E25 or E28 > Narwal Flow > Mova V50."
"cleaning it really depends on personal preference and I’m not really a fan of having to stay down to clean under the drain. ... needing to basically lie down on the floor to clean the robot’s mop washboard area (especially under the drainage filter where dust will accumulate) which won’t be great for those that aren’t as physically able."
"I'm still returning it mostly due to the mopping not being up the car that I would anticipate it to be, but it's mostly because I have textured vinyl, it would do great on regular hardwood, non-textured vinyl, marble, or other types of floors, I would assume"
FWIW - I have the MOVA V50 as well (in addition to an S1 Pro). GREAT robot vac/mop albeit w/ extendable spinning pads. Mapping/navigation for me has been excellent. The battery drainage is suboptimal but manageable - I’ve heard the Z60 does a better job w/ battery consumption. As for the Z60, I’m not picky about a self-cleaning dirty water tank especially if it’s small, removable, and easy to access (rear of Z60). I also prefer the retractable/extending LIDAR format of the Dreame/MOVA brands over the Narwal Flow. The Flow seems like a good robot esp w/ the track style, just not sure in my reality of 2-3 scheduled mop sessions weekly that the track will outperform the roller to any notable degree. The track pads (Dreame/MOVA) have been implemented and marketed heavily in Asian markets as well, where I’m sure there’s generally more tiled and hard flooring (vs. carpets, hardwood, and engineered hard floors common in the US market).
r/RobotVacuums • Which would you choose? ->If you are willing to spend, get the Mova V50 Pro Ultra Complete. If not - the Dreame L40s Pro Ultra (brilliant value for money, got ours for about €750).
r/RobotVacuums • Need Real Feedback Before I Drop $$$ – Roborock, Dreame, Ecovacs, Eufy… (or Others) - Help Me Decide ->Nice thanks for the link going with that one I love that it has dual roller brushes
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuums ->We just bought the MOVA V50 Ultra Complete last week (US version) and have been blown away by how well it has worked. We have 6 people and 4 dogs in the home and have it run a full cycle each night and has nearly eliminated all need to vacuum and mop at this point.
r/RobotVacuums • Best vacuum/mop combo in the $500-$1000USD range? ->i will pick mova V50Ultra
r/RobotVacuums • Anyone tried those? Totally overwhelmed on prime day ->sure due to its powerful suction ,and I did try before , I will check if I can take some videos for you
r/RobotVacuums • Anyone tried those? Totally overwhelmed on prime day ->lol I will train it next time after it clean up the spilled protein powder
r/RobotVacuums • Anyone tried those? Totally overwhelmed on prime day ->oh it depands on the height of the thresholds . I guess 2-4cm is piece of cake to it
r/RobotVacuums • Anyone tried those? Totally overwhelmed on prime day ->I just got mine out of the box today. I used it right away despite it not being fully charged, which was to be expected. It vacuumed and mapped my 2 bdrm condo in about 1.5 hours. I then fully charged it and had it vacuum my living room area rug. It finished with only 53% charge left. I am now charging it again. I will say, I am surprised with how quiet it is as I was expecting it to be much louder. I am less than impressed with its vacuuming prowess so far, however. It does well enough on my hardwood, which thankfully is the majority of flooring. Definitely not so good on low pile area rugs though. It’s brand new, so there shouldn’t be any issues with it being clogged already. I was hoping to be able to test out its mopping capabilities tonight, but this is taking a lot longer than initially expected. Not too big of a deal if I’m at work and it’s capable of chugging away in the meantime, but that all remains to be seen yet. I should add that it is more than capable of making it over the “lips” between bedroom floor and hallway. It also made it over the raised trim around my fireplace, so points for that.
r/RobotVacuums • Mova V50 Ultra: Honest Review ->Also, the accessories are pretty amazing. I found the hidden mop pads under the 3 extra bags included too lol. All in, there are 12 extra and 2 on the machine. 3 extra bags and 1 in the stand. As well as all the filters, etc that everyone else mentioned. Very impressed with the accessories. I was concerned about my animals tripping out with them mova, but my elderly dog barely bats an eye (she was eating and it was vacuuming beside her lol) and one of the cats enjoys stalking her new toy so far!
r/RobotVacuums • Mova V50 Ultra: Honest Review ->I am a bit worried about replacing the amazing cleaning and pet solutions though. Does anyone else know where to get these online because I couldn’t find any before I bought the V50? Maybe I was looking as they were switching products though? Would be disappointed if I couldn’t replace those in the future is all.
r/RobotVacuums • Mova V50 Ultra: Honest Review ->Mova V50 is overall best you can do nowdays. It has very few drawbacks compared to others.
r/RobotVacuums • If you had to choose between the Roborock QRevo CurvX & Mova V50 ultra, which would be your pick and why? ->A little late for this but I would go with the V50. Any model can have problems. I haven't tried the curvx but I tried 3 regular curvs and had to send them back. They dragged the mops when going back to the base. I haven't seen a lot of people mention that so maybe I was unlucky, 3 times in a row. The vacuum performance wasn't great either. I always vacuum before mop and there would be lots of pet hair in the base after mopping. I have the p50 and love it. Got it on sale for 799. I did have to send the first one back due to water pump issues, started in less than a week, but the one I have now has been going 2 months with no problem. Hardly, if any hair in the base after mopping. And my dust bag was full the first month. We have 3 highly shedding dogs and the roborock qrevo master does well but evidently the p50 does better. The roborock bag wouldn't be full the first month like this. And I have generic bags that work that are a lot less so it won't get so expensive to change. I have had no front wheel problem at all. Every manufacture can have problems. But if you need to deal with the warranty every time I have emailed Mova with a question or when the water pump went bad, they got back to me the same day almost every time but always within 24hrs. And not during the middle of the night like Roborock then you have to wait until the next night to email you back. Roborock was never a problem with me for warranty work it's just the process takes a while due to the response email coming in the middle of the night. Sorry so long but hope this helps.
r/RobotVacuums • If you had to choose between the Roborock QRevo CurvX & Mova V50 ultra, which would be your pick and why? ->To me personally it doesn't matter how much battery life is left at the end of it's job. It finished the job so that's fine. To test the resume cleaning I set the robot to max+ double pass on about 1000sq home knowing it would eat the battery. It went to recharge to resume and in about an hr it resumed and finished the job. It doesn't matter to me how long it takes for the job. I got it so I could be busy with something else and that's what I do. But again, that's me. Different people have different expectations.
r/RobotVacuums • Mova V50 Ultra: Honest Review ->I have the ultra complete V50, it works really well
r/RobotVacuums • Help with choosing - Roborock/Dreame/Mova ->V50 Ultra Is really a good robot with Proleap System and AceClean dryboard but...I would still take the Z50 Ultra just for the way better mopping even though it doesn't have the Proleap System
r/RobotVacuums • CES just dropped a ton of new robot vacuums—where are we headed? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
