If you’re really serious about no budget i would seriously consider one with plumbing and drain hook up. All you have to do is change the dust bag every couple months. I just did a rehab and wish i had considered that during the process. Personally, i have a ~1600 sqft first floor. ~900sqft of hardwood, ~500sqft of mid-pile carpet, ~100sqft of low-pile rugs, ~100sqft of tile. I went with the Mova Z60 Ultra Roller Complete. It’s one of the top end choices, has all the specs and features available right now. Roller definitely seems like the way to go now. I like that it comes with a bunch of extra parts and supplies compared to its competition, makes it a bit better value than the others in the long run.

I have had a fully positive experience two weeks into owning the Z60 so far.

r/RobotVacuumsMova Z60 Ultra Roller Complete - Is it really this bad?

I got mine a couple weeks ago and haven’t had any navigation issues. The navigation has been one of the most impressive parts about it honestly. I shared this map in another pic earlier. It detects obstacles, thresholds, and low clearance areas very accurately. https://preview.redd.it/62zxc651m96g1.jpeg?width=1206&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6be7c72ea7e74fd8ba1f3e12c7bffdd61b1f0986

Great and honest review. True to my experience - I have owned the Z60 since the pre-order period (in the US), and while not flawless, it’s a superb machine for 95% of home vacuuming/mopping scenarios.

My Mova Z60 Ultra can get over thresholds in my house about 1 inch high . Technical specs say it can get over thresholds up to 1.89 inches. I hope this helps.

So, i have the z60 standalone, i'm trying to fix water drops with different configuration types. But the mapper and the vacumm works well. I don't know why but compared with my old Dreame L20 Ultra, seem have less built quality, that's why i'm thinking of try luck with Aqua10.

r/RobotVacuumsAre roller-mop robot vacuums still “not fully baked”?

Had my Z60 for 4 months now? If you don’t clean the base regularly then it’ll fail to clean itself and just dump dirty water on the floor. No mildew smell but I bought mine primarily because my dog is a rescue and pees on the floor a lot and now the corner of and sometimes my entire kitchen smells downright awful. Your mileage may vary

For the money, I have a bit of a chip on my shoulder. A $700 investment would’ve been more reasonable If I don’t think about the cost, yes, I’m satisfied

r/RobotVacuumsRoborock Saros 10R is now under $1200, should I go for it?

I just grabbed the mova z60. I'm in Canada, but Amazon US has it for 1099$, marked down from 1499$. It gets great reviews, has a roller mop that gets washed as it's cleaning the floor so you're not just spreading dirt around. Mova is dreame's budget line. This is similar to the aqua 10, but gets better reviews!

By the time we unboxed it yesterday, there wasn't time to get a full charge before my kids went to bed. So we charged it overnight and ran it this morning. Because I did the initial setup a bit wrong the first map was a bit wonky. So o deleted the map and this time sent it on a fast mapping mission which worked well. Then did a vacuum followed by mopping - I have pets so don't want to do both at the same time and want to ensure the floor is fully clean first. I will say we were very impressed. But we were coming from an i7 Roomba which was super loud. Both the vacuuming and the auto empty. The z60 to me is pretty dang quiet. It's a mild background hum rather than a huge vacuum noise. It does power up on the area rugs a bit but even then it wasn't particularly noisy. It also did a great job getting onto our ruggable rugs, which our previous roombas often struggled with. Not only that, it broke out the extended spinning sweeper to get all along the edge of the thicker ruggable rug! And although it did get caught up on the rugs a bit, it was smart enough to figure out how to maneuver to get onto the rug. Vacuuming experience was very good. Super happy. Same with mopping. The amount of grunge in the waste water was surprising, esp since we mopped not too long ago! The floors look great, and the small stains around the dishwasher from loading it (I left them purposefully to see how it would manage), are all totally gone. Our upstairs has our bedrooms with all carpet. For some reason the carpets in the bedrooms are slightly different than the hallway, and they are super hard to get hair off of. My very old non intelligent Roomba could do a decent job because it had one brush with bristles, but the tangled mess had to be cleaned almost every time. The i7 couldn't pick up anything on the hallway rug much less the bedroom ones. The z60 did a great job on both hallways and bedrooms. There were a couple bits left in one room, but generally I was very pleased! One of the double rollers has both the soft plastic and some small bristles, so I think that made a big difference. I checked for tangles and couldn't see anything, so that was very positive. We are a busy household with sometimes up to seven kids around (I do daycare), two dogs, and I have very long hair. This machine will be run on the main floor to vacuum at least once a day, sometimes twice, with mopping done likely every other day, except when it's wetter outside, then it'll be every day. So far so good. I might write a post on a month to share my thoughts a bit more, but right now? We are happy clams.

I'm gonna say this right now I got a Z 60 off of Facebook marketplace. It was a great deal. Couldn't pass it up the performance of the S2 against the Z 60 is night and day the vacuuming night and day the floor cleaning night and day it makes a Z 60 look like the biggest piece of crap.

Amazing review thanks! I just got the Z60 and I am very impressed too. I agree that it's noisy in a work from home setup... I didn't consider that before getting the robot (it's my first one). I knew it was going to be noisy on carpets, I mean, it's a vacuum. But even mopping is a bit noisy tbh. I'm keeping it, but I don't think I will run it every single day. Maybe every other day.

r/RobotVacuumsMova V50 vs Z60 - Should I go for the roller mop?

I'm happy with my Z60 and I don't find maintenance too difficult. The small onboard dirty water tank empties in the station, the roller mop comes off easily and can be washed occasionnally (I do it with dish soap, it just takes 2 minutes). I don't clean the different parts very often either, and it vaccums long hair and cat hair, carpets... It works very well.

So I ended up buying the Mova Z60 Ultra Complete. I am quite happy with it since it is a big step up from what we had before. It gets on the carpets easily.
