"I have the roborock QRevo Curv and the difference is dramatic compared to earlier generations of mopping vacs. ... It has scrapers that remove any debris off the mop pads, and washes them with very hot water and air dries them thoroughly. ... I'm blown away by how clean the robot remains month after month."

"The Duo-Divide brush was a game-changer for me. We have long haired women in this house and I've had this thing for 18 months and I've never had to untangle anything from the brushes. It's crazy. I have a Q5 on another floor and I have to religiously clean those brushes. But the Curv? I stopped even checking underneath. There's never anything to untangle."

"But the dual roller design has cured the need for constant detangling of the brushes - we have 4 long haired humans and a 4 dogs, one sheds constantly. ... It’s been a game changer."

"I have an even thicker rug than this and my Curv has no issues ... It's the reason I bought mine because I have an even thicker rug than that and no robot could even climb onto it"

"The lifting chassis has been a game changer as well, hasn’t got stuck once, can make it into my bathrooms, and vacuum very high pile rugs."

"Excellent on hard floors with area rugs."

"make sure the robot has a setting to empty the dustbin periodically or else it will go through a whole run, then try to empty the dustbin and the charging station will get clogged trying to suck the large clump of hair into the dust bag. ... I have a qrevo and really love the robot but the fact roborock doesn't currently have an option to empty the dustbin every 100 sqft or so, means that I have had to set up separate schedules for each room so it goes back to the dock to empty the dustbin between each room. ... It's frustrating. ... Yeah I also hoped they'd update the app to add that but I've had the robot since it first came out a little over a year ago and it doesn't have that yet so unsure if they will ever add that."

"The auto empty would also jam regularly."

"My first Q Revo Curv started having docking issues after just a week and eventually failed to recognize the dock at all. Now on my 2nd unit"

"Object detection, specifically the smallest. ... I have cat toys that hang around everywhere and regularly my Q Revo blocks on it. ... Having to put them away before launching the robot and the only reason why I don't start it without my presence. ... This is the worst nightmare for my Q Revo."

"Ah not knowing that there’s a dreame x40 that can avoid obstacles is odd ... Did you know that they are thing called the dreame x40 that can clean better than this and avoid things? ... That’s complete hogwash. It’s marketing bro. There is no obstacle avoidance only an algorithm that’s meant to clean as fast as possible ... Exactly what I meant thank you for saying it for me. After happily using a Roborock S6 for quite a few years in a 600 sqft condo with 1 dog, buying a house, adding 2 additional furry friends(one cat, one more dog), and our S6 dying out with the dreaded “filter blocked or wet” issue(despite my best attempts to rectify it, including a full dismantling), I decided to bite the bullet and upgrade for our new found levels of mess. Our main issues in our fully hard floored home are dog and cat hair, as well as some wonderfully muddy paws that even with our efforts at the threshold to prevent, are sometimes unpreventable(100lb dogs will be 100lb dogs). After lurking in this forum for quite some time, reading countless reviews across multiple platforms, and watching too many YouTube videos, I decided that the no tangle split roller of the Curv along with the reported mopping performance and Roborock navigation system was a no brainer. My floors will be clean! My white kitchen floor will no longer smattered in brown! No more hair balls rolling across the hallway! Rejoice! Woof. We have had this $1400(purchase price) robot roaming our house continuously for 2 months now, and underwhelmed doesn’t describe how I feel writing this today and watching it. My biggest qualm: the mop quality is garbage. With the “official Roborock multi surface cleaning solution” including in the appropriate amounts in the fresh water tank, and the most thorough mop settings, I’m lucky if I’m left with anything better than a very odd brown streak around the edges of my floorboards. Usually, this is also seen in the middle of the floor, but the robot does not do a decent job against edges, vacuuming or mopping. Mopping is great. Just spreading the dirt evenly around the floor….sucks. Mop Score: 0/10. The duel no tangle rollers are great, and live up to the expectations I had. As a vacuum, it is mostly great, with the exception of the nav system. For some reason, it’s allergic to getting into tighter spaces and close to edges, leaving weird spots completely missed. Vacuum Score: 8.75/10 Occasionally, it decides to mop our living room rug. That’s less than ideal. Every time, “smart plan” will mop first, vacuum second. I haven’t found a way to stop this, so I usually run a vacuum cycle and then deep mop to embrace my futility. The app is great though, so cool! Intelligence Score: 6/10 I’m getting frustrated watching it do nothing in my kitchen for the second time today, and enjoying the brown tinge on my tile. I might try to just embrace it. For an evolution in Robovacs, this doesn’t feel like much more than what should be standard in 2024/2025. I wish I had opted for one of the Dreame models at a lower price point, but hey…I’m glad I got a cool rounded dock with no controls.

I went with a QRevo Curv. I'm basically hardwood floors throughout, tile in the bathroom with a bath mat, and a small mat in the kitchen. Floors have never been cleaner. Prior to this I was manual mopping once a week (or realistically maybe 2x a month when I remember to), with a robot vacuuming every day. Now it has been fully handsfree other than emptying the dirty water tank and filling the clean water tank. I run a vac+mop cycle 3x a week, and vac only 4x a week. Definitely doing something - that dirty water tank is definitely not clear when I empty it.

The individual test methodologies are good, but it’s segmented so it’s not really representative of a full circuit “clean my home” test. And they don’t test repeatability - e.g. living with the robot over a week or two to see how it does in practice with a constantly changing environment. As a Curv owner, I will say I have been very impressed with the unit. Impossible for me to tell whether I’m missing out, but I am approaching 2 months of just letting it do its thing, with no issues once the no go zones were set. I wake up to a clean home, mopped 3x a week, with no missed spots. After the inevitable first few days of ownership where I looked at the app religiously to see what the robot did, it has been set and forget. Just need to dump the dirty water tank and refill the clean tank once a week.

I'm on my second roborock, a Qrevo C. Had an S5 Max with a battery that wasn't holding charge well. It is over 3 years old. My first robot was an Ecovacs. Had pretty much constant errors, when I picked it up to clean sensors it wanted to remap again. I sent it for service, got it back 2 weeks later and it was worse. Got one minute off the dock, complained of dirty sensors, picked it up to clean it, started remapping again. I returned it, was only 4 months old. Just junk! Been with roborock since and the model I have now is amazing. I'll never change. Their app is far superior to what I had with Ecovacs, especially for map editing. I can't comment on the Dreame.

I’ve been running the Roborock QRevo Curv for 3 weeks after upgrading from a Roborock S7MaxV and it has been excellent. No hair tangling with the split dual brush. The only issue I’ve had is small objects (2-5cm) getting stuck and halting the cleaning cycle. I have young kids and a wife who crafts. We have an extraordinary amount of the small toys and charms everywhere. I’m sure more than 95% of the population lol, so most should be okay.

The best robots I've had so far are the Roborock Qrevo Curv and Qrevo Curvx that I use on a daily basis. Roborock is just consistently good and they are my default brand now. The curvx got off to a rough start that required a reset and two remaps but it finally got it together. I had a Dreame X50 Ultra that died on day two and a Aqua10 Ultra Roller that was beyond terrible with tons of issues and their support was horrid so I won't be inclined to try them again. I had a eufy x10 omni pro and it was okay until it wasn't and right after that I tried a Samsung Bespoke jet bot ai and it went crazy on its first cleaning run and died in the hallway. I also had a shark matrix and it was okay until it went crazy spinning against the couch in the living room.

I've noticed that mine struggles underneath the dining table and doesn't handle the chair legs very well. It wastes a lot of time bumbling around them while my Roborock Qrevo Curv zips around them and moves on. The battery life on mine is okay if I turn off 2nd cleaning otherwise it will kill it mid schedule and it won't be able to start the next task. The mop wash takes too long and consumes too much water. Mine uses more resources washing the mop than it does cleaning the floor. At this point I wish that I'd just bought another Roborock spinner and I still might send this one back.

In my experience Roborock is the more reliable brand. Recently I've had a Dreame x50 ultra and aqua10 ultra roller and they had terrible performance, the x50 died on day 2 and the aqua couldn't even navigate my dining room or follow the schedule among other things. Dark colored rugs and mats trip up the Dreame sensors causing them to error. Battery life is an issue on the newest brushless Dreame models. Do you have any thresholds that the robot would be required to cross? Most robots can cross from hard flooring to carpet and back without issue. Thresholds that are taller than 1" can trip them up if they don't have the ability to lift their chassis. Tiered thresholds can only be crossed by this type of robot. If you have ramps only the Dreame app will let you mark it on the map. I've seen people create a ramp in the Roborock app by setting invisible barriers to create a path to it. IMHO the Roborock app is miles ahead of everyone else even though it lacks ramps and the ability to rotate the map. Currently I have a qrevo curv and qrevo curvx and they are the best robots I've ever had. I run them daily splitting the house between them. Research whatever model you decide to get so you understand the maintenance required for it. Good luck with whichever one you choose.

I had one for a week and it was terrible. It wouldn't follow the schedule, navigated poorly especially when it had to use its own light and kept stalling on or near dark colors generating an error forcing someone to physically rescue it. It could never navigate my dining room and would get confused underneath the table/chairs and would leave the room without barely cleaning anything. Mine also used more water washing the mop than it did actually cleaning the floor not to mention the poor battery life. I contacted tech support and they were not very helpful so I sent it back. Two weeks earlier I had a x50 ultra and it died on the dock on day two so it went back. Earlier this week when Roborock put their curvx on sale I grabbed one and don't regret it. I also have the 2024 curv and run two bots splitting the house. Both of them do everything very well. My biggest complaint with their app is that I cannot rotate the map which I've hit up tech support about and they said they'd pass it along to their app team. As you can see the obvious with its performance the question is are you willing to pay for a machine that performs like that. I really wanted it to work but realized that what I had was all that I was going to have. Best of luck to everyone who has one.

I've had a Roborock Qrevo Curv for over a year and its been a great robot. In fact its the best robot vacuum/mop I've ever owned. It follows the schedule and doesn't have issues navigating the house, especially the dining room which has tripped up every Dreame robot I've tried (x50 ultra and aqua10 ultra roller). I had to send the curv in for a wheel issue and the side brush stopped turning and they turned it around in two weeks. I've since added a curvx so I can use two robots for daily cleaning but its only 2 weeks old now and too new to give an accurate report on its performance. I bought both directly from the roborock store as I can get an extended factory warranty along with a military discount.

I don't think they would go wrong with either one. I opted for the curvx over the 10r as I'm going back to two units so it will split cleaning duties with my 2024 curv. The x has a retractable turret making it just as short as the 10r plus it has a up facing sensor for the times its operating underneath furniture in addition to the lidar being able to see out the back while retracted.

Roborock Qrevo Curv has been the best robot I've owned. I recently tried a Dreame X50 ultra which died after 2 days and a Dreame Aqua10 Ultra roller which I sent back after a week because it was so terrible in a multitude of different ways. With pet hair the main brush must have antitangle properties or they will become a mess.

If you're so concerned about your privacy go to the the store and buy a broom w/dustpan, mop w/bucket and a manual vacuum and be done with it. My curv has been the best robot I've had by far notifying me when it encounters an obstacle identifying it on the map and if I click on the icon I get a picture.

X50 ultra died on the dock on day 2 but when it was working the battery drained fast and navigation was sporadic. Sent it back and got an aqua10 ultra roller that would error out when approaching dark colored rugs and mats stalling forcing a person to physically rescue it. Mop cover generated random errors which would stall it out and again someone would have to go rescue it. It also suffered from rapid battery drain like the x50. Unit could not navigate in the dining room using its own lighting and had poor navigation around the house overall. Used more water cleaning the mop than actually cleaning the floor. Tech support was less than helpful so back it went. My Roborock 2024 Qrevo Curv has been the best robot I've ever had. Navigation is great and it is consistent day in and day out. Its even better than the upgraded model I have the curvx.

I've had two bad robots from Dreame back to back, x50 ultra and aqua10 ultra roller, so I would lean towards the edge with its larger tanks since you don't have any carpets. Personally I run a 2024 curv and a 2025 curvx and they are great robots but for a single mopping robot tank size matters.

Just A Dad, Vacuum Nerds and Vacuum Wars are great resources to help you with your search where you can observe the different models in action to help you decide how their performance aligns with your expectations. Its a proven fact that some of the best cleaning robots do not possess the highest pa ratings. My 2024 curv has 18.5k and my curvx has 22k and both do very well with particle pickup. I had a Dreame aqua10 ultra roller with 30k and it couldn't do as well as they do.

I would recommend the qrevo edge for its large tanks as its a curv with a different dock. I just went through two dreame flagships, x50 ultra and aqua10 ultra roller and they were hot garbage. Poor navigation, poor battery life, cheap construction and poor support are just some of the issues I faced while having them. Dark colors make them error out and low light conditions will cause navigation issues. I currently have a 2024 qrevo curv and 2025 qrevo curvx as I run two robots to clean the house every day on a 3 schedule cycle each. Roborock's app is the best and the Dreame app is buggy and laggy to use. Duo divide brushes will not tangle, the dreame double roller will tangle and it doesn't pick up as well as normal vacuums even with a higher pa rating. Just a dad, vacuum wars and vacuum nerds offer lots of videos for you to compare different models. No robot is perfect but Roborock is like the Toyota of robot vacuums.

Saros 10R is a slightly better robot vacuum than its predecessor, the Roborock Qrevo Curv. It shares much of its design but adds or improves features. The Saros 10R removes the Curv's top-mounted LIDAR sensor to travel under lower furniture and has a much better obstacle avoidance system. It reuses the Curv's excellent mopping and AdaptiLift threshold climbing systems. Unfortunately, the Saros 10R also uses the Curv's split brushroll, which reduces hair tangling but still performs poorly picking up pet hair. Compare them both here https://www.rtings.com/robot-vacuum/tools/compare/roborock-qrevo-curv-vs-roborock-saros-10r/74367/88296
