"I run it once a day, and mop a couple times a week. ... In fact, my wet/dry floor vacuum just died so its pulling even more work right now as it's the only real mop I now have, other than a Swiffer."

"My GOD am I glad I did. I had no idea how much I had been missing! ... We have 2 dogs and a cat, and live more rural. That means dirty paws folks, and a lot of them. The mopping and vacuuming has been no short of amazeballs. Not amazing. Amazeballs."

"The current champ of perfectly sparkling clean floors. ... Have 5 dogs tracking in dirt all day? Run this mop and go eat off the floor. That's how clean it is. ... Step aside spinny & vibration mops, this constantly clean roller mop is the champ. ... The mopping ability is light-years ahead of the Curv. ... The continously cleaning of fresh water is where is truly unique. ... You will be delighted and shocked on how amazing this E28 is. Its truly incomparable to any roborock. Get ready to start eating off your floors 😁😉"

"I absolutely do not regret buying the robot vacuum. ... My room is a lot cleaner and dust-free now, and I can tell just by wiping my floor with a wet toilet paper and seeing barely anything picked up. ... I've been getting allergens a ton less, most of which not even in my room. ... All this for the commitment of a weekly emptying is miles more convenient than vacuuming traditionally, as opposed to making a few taps on my phone. ... looking back it was definitely worth the investment."

"My cat has very bad mite allergies, and this vacuum is a must have for us for keeping the floors clean of all dust, dander, and dirt."

"The second floor of my house is all carpeted, and I used to clean with a Dyson V8, but since I got the E28, I haven't vacuumed myself."

"A good robovac is a life changer. Even a $350 basic S8. It is a great place to start. ... I promise you that you will not be disappointed by a basic S8. It will change your life even if it can't fit under every piece of furniture you own. ... My two S8s just finished vacuuming our entire house in about 46 minutes. ... While my floors were being cleaned, I sat comfortably on our patio in the cool shade with a slight breeze and composed my far too long response to you while sipping a diet soda and relaxing. ... I will have to spend about four minutes maintaining my two S8s. This will be my entire contribution to my home floor cleaning effort for today. Four minutes!"

"After walking them in rainy or muddy weather, having a robo mop take care of the mess is a real help. ... Without the robot we would need to spend a ton more time mopping. ... the convenienve of not needing to mop the house after you worked for a full day is worth it to us. ... So, 30 minutes for 7 days a week comes down to 3.5 hours of mopping saved. ... if it is rainy/muddy outside, they carry a lot of dirt into the house. ... the mopping robot makes a lot of sense and is a real help."

"I have ours set up through Home Assistant with our Litter Robot. 30 minutes after the Litter Robot signals that it has been used, our robovac automatically vacuums our laundry room where the Litter Robot is kept. It works great!"

"I’ve seen on the camera the poor guy making multiple trips to self empty while in one room but it’s cut the hair buildup tenfold."

"With three they can just make it to a full week for emptying. ... Life changing."

"The roborock cleans the carpet so well I haven't seen or felt any litter anymore."

"Same here the i3 is awesome. ... I bought a parts kit on amazon for super cheap and it has really come in handy. ... I replaced the roller, even though it didn't need it after 3-4 years of use. ... The brush up front I've had to replace twice."

"you can buy replacement parts for under $40ish dollars. ... I have replaced battery, brush attachment, stick attachment, etc. - they are amazing."

"Every part is easily replaced ... It's still robust and serviceable"

"make sure the robot has a setting to empty the dustbin periodically or else it will go through a whole run, then try to empty the dustbin and the charging station will get clogged trying to suck the large clump of hair into the dust bag. ... I have a qrevo and really love the robot but the fact roborock doesn't currently have an option to empty the dustbin every 100 sqft or so, means that I have had to set up separate schedules for each room so it goes back to the dock to empty the dustbin between each room. ... It's frustrating. ... Yeah I also hoped they'd update the app to add that but I've had the robot since it first came out a little over a year ago and it doesn't have that yet so unsure if they will ever add that."

"The auto empty would also jam regularly."

"The QRevo series has the same issue with some dreame models where the dustbin will be clogged with fur but there’ll be a lot of empty space on the sides."

"my only complaint about the QX revo is that if you say go clean the house it never empties the dust bin until the end. ... It's not programmable either. ... If it gets full halfway through it just starts leaving dust bunnies everywhere. ... I break my house up to clean now. The room with a wool rug I do by itself because it will fill the bin by itself. ... it's crazy that they didn't allow for emptying it at some frequency like every half hour as an example. ... Yes it's very stupid of Roborock to sell a simple software feature as an improvement when it is really in my opinion a requirement. ... I like the QX revo, but will be buying a different brand next time because of this."

"when it comes to vacuuming the carpet it's absolutely shit house"

"The self mopping feature imo is not worth it"

"The issue with those brushes is that it will tangle hair like crazy. ... I have multiple females that shed hair at a crazy rate. ... I would think the brush would get clogged after a day or two. ... Can't deal with manually untangling the brush that often. ... I wish dreame had utilized something similar."

"My dreame l20 ultra clogs with pet hair. ... We have one golden retriever dog and it seems to not go back to the dock enough even on the highest setting to empty."

"the vacuum gets clogged with dog fur immediately and then just rolls the rest around and forms clumps. ... I have one big dog. ... My old Roomba never had a problem with two big dogs (one was the same and the other shed waaay more)."

Thank you for this. I bought Roborock Qrevo QV35A after your last thread a few months ago and our life has changed. Your thread really helped me make an informed decision. I was first time buyer so I wanted to see what are the most purchased and best reviewed vacuums in each categories. It made my research seamless!

r/RobotVacuumsWhat are the best robovacuums with mop as well under $400
2 months ago

Have had Roborock QV35a for almost 3 months now and love it. No complaints as such. Vacuums and mops really well and I have it scheduled so that’s easy. It’s obstacle detection isn’t the best but that’s pretty much it

I’ve been using the QV35A and it’s honestly been great. The cleaning’s been reliable, the mops lift on carpet, and the dock takes care of most of the dirty work. For the price, it really feels like one of the best entry-level options right now.

Three floors in my house - three vacs. Yes, I could move them from floor to floor, but I had a bit of money to between black friday and second hand deals: \#1. Roborock Saros Z70 - Bedrooms, with the kids rooms being the trickiest to navigate \#2 Roborock Saros 10 - Main Floor, does well with the mix of hardwood, tiles, and area rugs, and the dirt and slush at the front door in winter. \#3 Roborock QV35A - Basement - mostly tile with some area rugs - the least trafficked part of the house. All set with some kind of schedule and automations with the Roborock app and Google Home for cleaning when we are in or out of the house. I'm really enjoying having one less thing to do around the house.

r/RoborockFirst robot vacuum recommendation Curv S5X or QV 35A?

I just bought the 35A and love it. Easy peasy and cleans my wood and ceramic floors great. Wish there were an indicator in the app for water levels in the base tanks, but otherwise this one works and the price is right. I’d advise buying an extra set of circular cleaning mops so you can put the dirty ones in the washer while you continue floor cleaning, although this would be the same for all mopping vacuums.

r/RobotVacuumsI heard from several people that Roborocks frequently malfunction. Is it the brand or just robot vacuums in general ? Is Dreame a more reliable brand?

I got a l40 for prime day and the mapping software is just terrible even compared to my old q7 max+ so I'm returning it and getting a QV35A instead.

this is the answer, two Qrevo, they are 350 euro direct from roborock on Aliexpress now (QV35A) Dish soap also works in the dirty water bin.

r/germanshepherdsHello fellow GSD owners 👋 I am looking for recommendations for a robot vacuum cleaner that can cope with the all year shedding from long haired GSD's please 🙏 currently considering either a Eufy or Shark but would love advice from people that know the daily struggle is real. UK based. Thank you!

I can say from experience that sharks are terrible. The software is clunky and the mapping logic sucks. I got a Roborock QV 35A a few months ago and it's great. It takes a bit of time to set up but once it's dialed in it's awesome. This is also a vacuum mop combo. Keeps my floors looking good enough to only have to manually mop once a month or so. I have two huskies and a GSD so I'm familiar with dog hair...

r/RobotVacuumsRoborock QV35 vs dreame L40 vs Mova P10 if don’t want my hair to clog it up?

The dreame and MOVA are compatible with the TriCut/CleanChop brush which I found to work well with long hair (also below shoulder length) and my long haired corgi. The roborock qv35 only has a rubber brush which is generally resistant against tangles but you’ll have to take care of the hairs that collect at the end of the brush which is easily removable since they have easily removable brush ends.

Bigger dustbin + good use of dustbin when it comes to fur (no empty space should be in the dustbin when fur clogs it) + frequent autoemptying = better for dealing with hair and fur. For a vacuum only model, the roborock Q5 Max+ and the Q8 Max+ have a sizeable dustbin and uses the dustbin space well and has an autoempty station. The dual rollers help with fur pickup. In the US Dreame’s L/X50 Ultra fulfills these requirements as a combo model. So does the MOVA V50 Ultra for Canadian customers. The QRevo series has the same issue with some dreame models where the dustbin will be clogged with fur but there’ll be a lot of empty space on the sides. It’ll be good for picking up fur on carpets with its dual brushes but I think the eufy X8 should be better for dealing with finer dust.

Same! Got it for 350 EUR. Although technically I got it January 3rd haha. I was judging friends that had one, but now I just love seeing my QV 35A going around and cleaning up my apartment.
