This is why I am hesitating on the roborock q10 pf in my country. It is the q10 x5 in US. Will the spare parts be found in 3 years? Only if sales are good enough. The spare parts if too different may not be found so easily. Like the Dreame D20 (only with charging dock) in my country that is not the Dreame D20 Ultra in any way. And so far I have been unable to find the spare parts or know its equivalent elsewhere. For my Xiaomi 1C, I have managed to find parts to it. I have sent it in to get the wheels switched out under warranty, I have changed the filters and brushes at economical prices and I have switched out the batteries twice so far. The new ones are larger capacity but cause the robot vac to be a bit haywire. Perhaps I need to service the front wheel and clean the sensors? Either way, I am undecided between the roborock q10 PF and Xiaomi S20 or S20+. The S20 seems to fit my needs as a basic vacuum and is more compact allowing it to get into slightly tight areas but feels like just a little upgrade over my 1C that still works albeit haywire sometimes. It gets fixated on areas some times. I have put furniture risers ro accommodate the LiDar puck as that was the only hindrance on the new vacuums.
Absolutely yes. I got xiaomi one, with mop function. It has no self cleaning, but I'm completely happy, it doesn't bother me to empty container and wash the mop once a day. I run it 1-2 times a day. I still mop once 2 months, but overall my floor upkeep is completely automated. I hate mopping and vacuuming, I need my floor cozy to walk barefoot at all times.
+1 for the Mi robo vacuum-mop. I got the first one in 2020 on Mi's kickstarter campaign and it's still doing a great job cleaning the house. 8/10 for vacuuming, I can barely manage a 3/10 with a broom. I had to buy spares from lesser known brands on Amazon
I got a Roborock QX Revo Ultra from Costco (basically a Qrevo Edge but made for Costco?). One thing I'm going to point out that would probably blow a lot of minds is that I owned the original Xiaomi Mi Vacuum which is the first vacuum that Roborock ever released and the Roborock S50 which is the second. Both were released around 2017. The navigation, mapping and dock finding on those early pioneering vacuums was faster and **better** than this ultra high end top of the line model. Those vacuums never got lost or struggled to find the dock, they mapped quickly, and they returned to the dock quickly. This new one is trying to do so much, it maps slow, and it needs to think a lot to get back to the dock. If you set it somewhere random and try to send it back to the dock, it doesn't know where the dock is and it needs to think for a few minutes. All of that to say you'd be shocked that vacuums from 2017 that pioneered this tech and only did 10% of what a modern robo vac does already had a lot of what you need, and they were only $300.
They break like crazy. Even the simpler early models break. My Xiaomi MI and Roborock S50 both lasted 4 years and they had only 10% of the tech a modern robovac with a dock does. The Mi died from battery issues and the S50 has damaged capacitors / resistors / transistors.
I am watching this space. Tried MI a few years back. The dust it collected just after cleaning was insane
Owner of MI and Ecovacs for 2 storey house where house help is not easily available. Keeps the place well dusted and clean on daily basis. Once a month or as per need we get someone to do deep cleaning. Works like a charm and the sight of retired dad watching over the robots and guiding and coaxing them on is worth it :😛🙂
Been using the Mi one since lockdown. Maid ko tabhi se GPL diya hai.... I was insisting on buying it when it was on a flash sale for 17000, but mom was only convinced during COVID and I ended up paying 20k... Still worth it..... Today however I'd recommend the newer ones with self clean and vibrating mop at minimum... Will upgrade to those when this one dies ....
Been using Mi since 2020. First issue popped up on 2025 and technician came home with in 2 days to fix. We are in Kottayam. So Mi is good from my experience.

Mi for more than 6 years, satisfied with the vacuming but mopping is useless, brushes and other consumable parts are available from Amazon , service has been okay , had one motor replacement done from MI but took a long time for the part to come
Mine (a Xiaomi Mii from about 8 years ago, though it wasn't the newest and most advanced model even back then) has a voice that will complain when it gets stuck and it sends a notification to my phone as well, so you wouldn't need to keep checking it.
I've had the same Xiaomi Mii for the last 8 years or something. I'm extremely satisfied with it. But it really depends on things like clutter, obstacles like cords, and even how particular you're about spotless floor (imo, it's spotless, but I've seen posts by people who just like to vacuum themselves for a more perfect cleaning). I'm kinda of a slob and also get very stressed with the noise from the vacuum in the same room as me, so a robot I can schedule to run when I'm not at home is very convenient. And now it's just 2nd nature to remove things from the floor (even if that means flinging it onto the closest high ground) so we rarely have problems with the robo half-choking on a sock. Cleaning the rollers off long hair is annoying, though.
