"I like how it doesn't just bump into furniture legs but actually follows edges with its side brush."

"I’ve had zero problems with mine."
"I've got no complaints about how my Yeedi S14 Plus handles the floors. ... Since using it, I barely touch the floors myself because it does a good enough job for me."
"The Yeedi I got felt like one of the better value options in the roller mop category. ... Last time I saw it on amazon, it was going for under $700 when they had a discount."

"Honestly I am floored (haha) with the upgrade to the s14 after having dealt with the s5max for almost 6 years. I was constantly emptying the dust bin manually and setting up and cleaning up the “mop” pad. Feel like I actually have a robot vaccum now that I have the Omni station and an actual usable mop."
"The mop roller on the yeedi was a big factor. I have not been impressed or interested in the spinning mop disc pads on most other options though I was hoping for Roborock to make the switch."
"Ours has a mop function that has been a huge help, I was hesitant about how much I’d use it since you can only use water in it but I run it after mopping and it just picks up any cleaner residue and any dirt/dog hair that happened in 10 seconds since mopping."

"Ran it right after brushing my puppy every night, the brush didn’t get tangled so far. that surprised me."

I live in a small apt with a lot of furniture and rugs, and picked up yeedi s14 plus last month during spring sale. I didn't see it slam into my tightly-packed furnitures, or get tripped up by cables. It just glides along my desk and chairs, reaches out with its side brush and cleans the edges.
Yeedi is on sale right now. It has a rotating vacuum brush followed by a rotating mop. It has a large tank, and no smearing mud. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DRNYXDDV It's supposed to be maintenance free. For 6months. Just dump and refill water tanks. Just got it so I don't know for sure.
Working great. It cleans well. It has mapping. It has a camera to identify hazards.
Not sure for you, but I've got no complaints about how my Yeedi S14 Plus handles the floors. I usually run the vacuum every day or two, and mop every few days. Since using it, I barely touch the floors myself because it does a good enough job for me.
I’ve been looking forward to your review of the deebot x8. However I couldn’t wait long enough lol. Upgraded from a 6 year old Roborock s5 max. Decided to go with the yeedi s14 plus, which is identical to the deebot x8 except for AI, camera feed, and detergent dispenser. Honestly I am floored (haha) with the upgrade to the s14 after having dealt with the s5max for almost 6 years. I was constantly emptying the dust bin manually and setting up and cleaning up the “mop” pad. Feel like I actually have a robot vaccum now that I have the Omni station and an actual usable mop. The mop roller on the yeedi was a big factor. I have not been impressed or interested in the spinning mop disc pads on most other options though I was hoping for Roborock to make the switch. The Vacuum portion and suction work as expected and side brush gets most edges and corners. Lot of hate for ecovacs on the internet, which is funny because most of those same people and reviewers (looking at you Just a Dad) give props to yeedi even though they are the same robots. 10/10 would recommend Yeedi s14 plus
If budget’s not your concern, then there are plenty of good options, especially among newer models with improved obstacle avoidance. We're using yeedi's newest S14 Plus for our 60% carpeted home. It always pulls up so much dirt from the carpets, and sometimes goes over areas more than one time. On hardwood floors, the mopping usually gets things clean in one go. I like how it doesn't just bump into furniture legs but actually follows edges with its side brush.
Here's what I think about the roller mop. I’ve been using my Yeedi S14 Plus for about a month now, and it handles the kitchen and bathroom pretty often. I use it wipe up spilled coffee and clean up water stains or footprints in the bathroom after a shower. I guess it doesn’t just push the dirt around, probably cause the roller rinses itself while running, and the mop stays clean the whole time.
I got a yeedi robot vacuum when my baby was about 8 months. Every night after kids fall asleep, I tidy up the living room and let the robot vacuum and mop the floors. Sometimes I’m too tired to pick up toys, I just leave the mess and let the robot do its thing.
Rolling. It cleans/washes itself while mopping (and therefore mops better). Definitely Yeedi S14 (or Ecovacs Deebot T80, X8, or X9, eufy E25 or E28, Mova Z50 or Z60, or Narwal Flow).
Vacuuming: Mova V50 > Mova Z60 > eufy E25 or E28 or Narwal Flow > Mova Z50 > Ecovacs Deebot X8 or T80 / Yeedi S14 > Ecovacs Deebot X9. Mopping: Mova Z60 or Ecovacs Deebot X8, X9, or T80 / Yeedi S14 > Mova Z50 > eufy E25 or E28 > Narwal Flow > Mova V50.
As most of your place is just hardfloor, get one with a roller mop would be better. The yeedi S14 plus from your list might worth a shot for the cost and its roller mop.
I think it's worth a shot. I’ve got a yeedi robot vacuum and I actually use it way more than I thought. In fact I just let it mop the whole floor, and I lie on the couch watching TV.
Looks like hair’s the main problem here. A robot vacuum helps a lot with that, you can just schedule it to run a few times a day, and it’ll pick up the hair for you. I have a yeedi robot vacuum, and I think its suction is decent, does a good job picking up regular hair from my carpet.
We switched to the s14 plus this year. I used to see hair and dust on the floor all the time, now the place basically stays clean on its own. Anyway, I don’t think gifts always have to be super romantic, if a robot vacuum is practical and actually makes life easier, then it’s totally a gift worth giving.
We have mostly hardwood floors. We used to have some rugs, but my kid kept dropping cookie crumbs in them so I put them away. I got a yeedi S14 after getting tired from looking after my kid and I think it mops well. The roller mop cleans itself at the dock when it goes back to get more water, and it also cleans as it rolls.
