"The feature I like the best is the auto emptying dock which means I don’t need to constantly empty the vacuum box inside it each time."
"D10 Plus is the best bang for the buck with a base. ... Auto-empty is a game-changer in a dusty home. ... great value for the price ... You can go a couple of weeks without touching the robot. Totally worth it if that’s a pain point. ... Best value with base: D10 Plus"
"I have customers come in who specifically come back and want to buy another D10 Plus for a separate part of their home or their office space etc. that don't want to deal with a a big base or too much water and need it mostly for just vacuuming and self emptying."

"Based on the YouTube review below, we picked up a Dreame D10 Plus Gen 2 and holy cow the difference is night and day. ... If you go Dreame, make sure you get the tricut brush as well, it's what really changes things. ... We have two Goldens running around the house, and now that I've set up the D10 with tricut brush to run at night right before the X1 Omni, the hair tumbleweeds are gone and I no longer have to clean hair out of the vacuum rollers. ... TL;DR: Non-carpet flooring with pets? Get a Dreame vacuum and a Tricut brush."
"Got the dream a few weeks ago. It's a game changer. I had a Neato and a few iRobots over the years. With those units, I spent more time pulling out dog hair and untangling rollers than actually using the product."
"The Tricut brush is a double-edged sword in that it definitely does not get tangled with hair. ... I've been using the Tricut brush since November 2024 on 3 Dreametech vacuums (one L40 and two D10 Plus's) and not a single one of them has had a hair tangle yet."

"running it on the lowest (quietest) vacuum setting does not do a great job of picking up dog fur & dog dirt. ... You gotta step it up to the top 2 loudest settings to get good vacuuming."
"The downside is that it definitely doesn't pick up as well as the default brushes that came with the D10 Plus."

We have the draeme. It’s great, we don’t use the schedule as there too much chance of it eating a toy. However, it really encourages the kids (6 and 5) to pick up their stuff. Only downside is that it doesn’t replace a proper hoover, but we have a cleaner anyway so it helps for the gaps between the cleaner coming
DREAME D10 Plus Gen 2 is $179 on Amazon right now. It’s great vacuum and empties itself. The mop is pretty much useless though.
Check Bestbuy.ca, surprisingly their deals on robot vacuums have been wild lately. Good portion of them are on for 66% off or more. There was a high end bObsweep vacu/mop combo that was $1599 down to $399 just last week. I also abused the sale to get myself a Dreame D10+ Self emptying for $199 down from $599
I've got a dreamtech which has self cleaning mops and it does pretty good. I've also got 2 kids and toys all over the floor and it barely gets stuck.
I wasn't planning to spend more than £300 when I wanted one. None is worth 1000s for me. After lots of research I decided on the Dreame D10 Plus, mostly due to hair trimmer accessory and the HA integration. I'm extremely happy with it. I don't understand why people pay so much money for these.
I have the Gen 2 since may and is doing an incredible job
Got the dream a few weeks ago. It's a game changer. I had a Neato and a few iRobots over the years. With those units, I spent more time pulling out dog hair and untangling rollers than actually using the product. This is a lot more advanced, and with the self emptying, it's pretty great. All I do now is swap out the water tanks every day. Gripes? The mop pad on the base station gets hairy. It has difficulty getting dirt between the edge of the rug and the hardwood floors. It's expensive. All in all, it's a nice machine.
The Dreame D10 Plus I'd like to consider one of Dreame's hidden gems, sure you might not think so by looking at it, but it's a completely capable little machine and its more than enough for what some people need. I have customers come in who specifically come back and want to buy another D10 Plus for a separate part of their home or their office space etc. that don't want to deal with a a big base or too much water and need it mostly for just vacuuming and self emptying. If you are looking for mopping feature specifically, it does have it, but routine refilling will be necessary as the water tank is on the bot itself and it does not have a self refilling base, but it does well enough for the price point. overall its a solid little bot that I enjoy selling for those more needing a vacuum first and mopping every once in a while versus daily mopping. hope this helps and happy hunting!
It really depends on the dog. Some dogs tolerate it, some dogs don’t care for it and other dogs absolutely hate it. I have a Jack Russell Terrier who would try to completely destroy this vacuum. It’s all in their personality however, they can be trained to tolerate it more and more (typically with treats).
Gen 2. These have a bigger waste water and fresh water container + extending moppad.
