"With three they can just make it to a full week for emptying. ... Life changing."
"I’ve seen on the camera the poor guy making multiple trips to self empty while in one room but it’s cut the hair buildup tenfold."

"the mapping and exclusion zones, and ability to run multiple maps on the Robovac is brilliant."

"They're awesome- LiDAR room mapping ... Um roomba doesn't use Lidar which is why it doesn't do a good job mapping the rooms. Or figuring out what floor it's on."

"I would WAY rather take the vacuum back to the dock once every few weeks than vacuum all the time. ... I am more than happy to pay $150/year to eliminate 99% of my vacuuming. I would happily pay double that."

"A good robovac is a life changer. Even a $350 basic S8. It is a great place to start. ... I promise you that you will not be disappointed by a basic S8. It will change your life even if it can't fit under every piece of furniture you own. ... My two S8s just finished vacuuming our entire house in about 46 minutes. ... While my floors were being cleaned, I sat comfortably on our patio in the cool shade with a slight breeze and composed my far too long response to you while sipping a diet soda and relaxing. ... I will have to spend about four minutes maintaining my two S8s. This will be my entire contribution to my home floor cleaning effort for today. Four minutes!"

"the hair cutting feature on the dock means i havent had to get in there and chop out all the cat hair or long hair from 2x long haired humans."
"That's why I got L60 for my upstairs carpet only. ... It has a built in hair cutter that removed all the hair from the brush."
"Get one with the emptying station and you can leave it untouched for months."

"The charging issues are the most annoying because I have to clean the charging pads 20 times before it starts charging again. ... And the reason I trashed my last Roomba and got a new Roomba was because of the charging pad issue. So i gave roomba 2 chances and both models had the exact same issues"
"The battery life was terrible it couldn’t vacuum my newest 1 bedroom apartment without needing to recharge for 2.5 hrs with the most recent update."

"I have the same hoover and a few people here have long hair, I get maybe 1.5 runs before it gets tangled. ... In the time I spend cutting hair out of the moving parts I could just have used a regular hoover."
"Eufy L60 and x10 pro are both awful at not tangling long human hair. ... I have to clean the main roller and side brush after about every use. ... Hair is always tangled in the side brush (which requires a screwdriver to fully clean) and the main roller."
"The Eufy blade that cuts the hair was completely useless for long, human hair on one of mine (eufy L60). ... It did equally as badly as my Eufy x8 Pro, but the blade seemed to make zero difference in the way the brush looked after a cycle."

Roborock and Eufy are among the top brands right now. I have a Eufy L60 SES, and I love it.
I currently own a Eufy L60 and quite frankly it’s lacking in it’s ability to pickup all the cat litter around the house that the cat’s drag with them. It does a decent job for the most part, but it never completely sucks up all the little pieces of litter, so bottom line it’s not functioning for the main purpose of keeping the house clean. Only vacuuming manually myself get’s rid of all the litter. I have a hard time finding people online mentioning the ability of models for picking up pine cat litter and was wondering if anyone owns a robot vacuum that does a good job at this. I’m prepared to spend more money than I did with the Eufy but would prefer not having to pay €1000+ for a top model. Could someone help me out here?
#winning. Randomly purchased a eufy l60! Whoop
I got the Eufy hybrid and it mops, as a lightning deal on amazon. Now I cant live without it. Never thought I’d care for a mop. It helps so much, saves my messed up back and saves hubbs’ lungs/allergies. It removes all my old lady shedding hair and that of my cats.
I have a Eufy hybrid and love it. It mops great!
Eufy L60 with self emptying bin - have a chocolate lab that sheds pine needles 24x7. Worth every penny!
I have Eufy L60 SES, it's my first robo vacuum and I'm rather disappointed. It's really loud, bumps into pretty much everything. Attaching a mop and filling water in the robot is a hassle(but I knew that buying a budget vacuum). Water tank leaks after a year. Main brush is designed with a small plastic ending cap that I lost at some point accidentally. Turns out someone already made a 3d print model of that on thingiverse for the same reason. It likes to get stuck under furniture knowing it can't fit under, we had to make no-go zones everywhere. But my main gripe with it is the front wheel. That thing catches more of my dogs fur than entire main brush. It has to be cleaned every other day. I tried multiple 3d printed designs from people with the same issue as me but nothing really works. With certain type of pet hair, front(swivel) wheel just gathers so much hairs it stops spinning after a while. It vacuums alright, although we have only hard floors so it's not a challenge, mopping is just... well, if you set it to 2x passes it sometimes smears dirt enough to not be too noticeable. Hair cutting at the station is more of a gimmick, it doesn't do anything more times than it does. The software is... bad. Eufy has no excuses for their app to be this bad. Map sometimes never loads, there aren't many options that would be useful, like having a 'deep clean zone'. There's even a fairly small limit to no-go zones you can't go above. Vacuum itself likes to lose wifi connection every 2-3 months and needs a hard reset every time too. It's a budget vacuum so I didn't expect much but I'm already planning on getting something much more expensive as our next. Primarily waiting for Dreame X60 reviews and EU release, as I care about the height being <9cm and no-hassle mopping(since our old dog started 'leaking'), it also has a swivel wheel in the back which is a much more logical design when pets are around.
Eufy L60 I would recommend because it's only vacuum not mopping. That way main maintenance is just swapping the bags every month or other month. It can be started and run without the app after its setup the mapping. That's the one I got for my mom. But for multiple floors you need to move base station to change map. There's some vacuum base stations that can be connected to mains so they will drain and fill the water tank automatically if you really want a no maintenance mopping vacuum like the dreame x40 etc.
I also had an older roomba that couldn’t keep up. I recently got a eufy brand one that’s self-emptying with a hair cutter. If I run it once a day, it’s usually pretty good at keeping up but if I wait more than two days, there’s too much hair and it’ll get balls of hair that cause an error with the cutter. When they’re blowing their coats I might run it twice in a day or do a little sweeping in between. I have three huskies and they’re in and out of the dog door too so plenty of dust/dirt in addition to the hair. The house is 1300 sq feet but I have it clean probably half that (open family areas) and it will have to empty two or three times during its job. I will say this one seems smarter and doesn’t get stuck as much as the roomba did.
What’s your budget? The Eufy L60 Hybrid is more budget-friendly, and its blade cutting makes it worry-free about hair tangles, but the vibrating mop is average. The Eufy E25 with its dual separation rollers can also prevent tangles and automatically untangle when it returns to the base station. The roller mop is better for dealing with muddy paws.
I have a eufy l60 ses I got for around $150 usd. It’s great for vacuum only I think. Handles everything I need and is reliable. Doesn’t hit much stuff (isn’t good at cable/obstacle detection for random objects though)
