"Something that I really like with this robot is it's ability to automatically detect if not doing a thorough enough cleaning on any section, and deciding to come back for another run, and not only that, even deciding whether that second run should be both vacuum and mop or just the second mop run. Sometimes that happens because my kid came in and didn't want my feet , while other times my dog tracked in extra do it, and other times it's because someone made a mess while eating."
"high temperature mop cleaning ... The hot mop washing was one of the things that tipped me towards that model instead of the one you have. It's very effective, and leaves the mop cloths mildly warm when it leaves the dock to hit the next room (on my old S6, I used to hand wash the mop cloth right before running the robot every night, so I didn't want to take the step down). So if you set it to wash the mop after each room, the mop will remain at least mildly warm while cleaning."
"I have the roborock QRevo Curv and the difference is dramatic compared to earlier generations of mopping vacs. ... It has scrapers that remove any debris off the mop pads, and washes them with very hot water and air dries them thoroughly. ... I'm blown away by how clean the robot remains month after month."

"Never tangled on the roller! My sis and mom also shed (hehehe) but their hairs don't tangle too"

"So far my Qrevo Edge 5v1's never got lost. ... Tried picking it up and putting it at random parts of the house and it still manages to find out where it is and reliably go back to it's dock."
"I dint like the navigation so went back to robo rock qrevo s5a"

"make sure the robot has a setting to empty the dustbin periodically or else it will go through a whole run, then try to empty the dustbin and the charging station will get clogged trying to suck the large clump of hair into the dust bag. ... I have a qrevo and really love the robot but the fact roborock doesn't currently have an option to empty the dustbin every 100 sqft or so, means that I have had to set up separate schedules for each room so it goes back to the dock to empty the dustbin between each room. ... It's frustrating. ... Yeah I also hoped they'd update the app to add that but I've had the robot since it first came out a little over a year ago and it doesn't have that yet so unsure if they will ever add that."
"The QRevo series has the same issue with some dreame models where the dustbin will be clogged with fur but there’ll be a lot of empty space on the sides."

If you do compare feature on vacum wars web site You can see which has matter Recommend a robo rock qrevo for auto mation Eco vac t50 pro Omni is $600 n does matter n has mop n vac but I dint like the navigation so went back to robo rock qrevo s5a But robo rock is more $. Bout $850 You get what you pay for

r/HomeKit • Top robot vacuum? Unsure if I want mop capabilities. Must be HomeKit/matter compatible. ->Qrevo edge s5a Goes on sale a lot Workin great for me. Floors are so clean. So clean
r/HomeKit • Robot Vacuum/Mop combos that have HomeKit native? ->We have a q revo and it’s great
r/homeautomation • Wife says it's time, what's the best robot vacuum? ->I just got the edge and I love it (coming from an S6 MaxV), but obstacle avoidance, and specifically the cords that you’ve mentioned, tend to really be the weak spot of this model, at least when mopping. I found that the cords will tangle around the rotating mop brushes and eventually cause them to fall off.
r/RobotVacuums • Which to Keep: Roborock Qrevo Edge, Slim, or Wait for Saros? Cats Included, Need Advice! ->Yeah, my hope is that obstacle avoidance could be improved with future firmware updates, but we shall see.
r/RobotVacuums • Which to Keep: Roborock Qrevo Edge, Slim, or Wait for Saros? Cats Included, Need Advice! ->What settings are you using? I love my edge so far. The only hesitation i have is getting a second one upstairs for mostly carpet i think ill get a S10R to not pull the mops all over.
r/Roborock • Not enjoying the roborock Qrevo Edge. ->Roborock Qrevo CurvX. Had the Edge S5A for a few weeks I got from Prime day sale, but felt like I should’ve went with one with better threshold clearance and obstacle avoidance. Also getting 10% off on top of the sale price makes it seem perfect for price and features.
r/RobotVacuums • What robot vacuum are you getting? ->I prefer the s8 maxv ultra over the edge (returned the edge) the vacuuming is significantly better on the s8. The mopping is okay compared to the edge. My floors actually seemed worse with dirt after using the edge.
r/Roborock • Roborock: S8 MaxV Ultra vs Qrevo Edge S5A vs Qrevo Curv - which one? ->Q revo. Which.... give the stats table might not make sense, but its the most reliable of the three, which i've tested.
r/RobotVacuums • Comparing three vacuums can’t decide! -># [Under $300](https://amzn.to/48R0G4J) Generally speaking, I think its rare you find a great robot at this price, and I've discussed why there's some sense in [not spending the money on real discount robots](https://www.whatrobotvacuumshouldiget.com/2025/06/20/are-budget-robot-vacuums-worth-buying/). Still... there are a few gems worth looking at, as more expensive models drop under this threshold. If you've got a smaller place, or a place with many floor objects, try a Switchbot. Because they're so small, they can get between chair legs and make a small radius around things. Switchbot just doesn't get enough attention, IMO. Lots of people purchased the K10+ Pro on my recommendation during Prime Day and have posted about how happy they are. The 11 made the tower smaller and improved some other specs, but is mostly the same model. The perfect apartment, studio, or office vac. Performs spectacularly well as a vacuum, particularly given the price and stats, but it is ONLY a vacuum. If you're more concerned about a mop, get the 3i. (its great at both, to be clear, but it has the best mop of the bunch). I really like the 3i brand, they're not new, they've been making robots for other companies for years. The G10 is stripped down from premium models, but it had the same sweeper>roller design that is so effective on the higher end models. If you're looking for a carpet forward model, Eureka is the only legacy vacuum brand that successfully transitioned to robots that work. While no brand has great customer service anymore, there's a benefit to Eureka being US based. No waiting 24 hours for a response. |**Model**|**Original Price**|**BDD Price**|**Discount**| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[SwitchBot Robot Vacuum K11+](https://amzn.to/4mOxq1O)|399.99|224.99|44%| |[3i G10+](https://amzn.to/48znS7N)|$449.99|$269.99|40%| |[Eureka E20 Plus](https://amzn.to/4mOwQBd)|449.99|299.99|33%| # [Under $500](https://amzn.to/4o4MPMA) Were seeing some amazing deals in this price band. That L40 Ultra has dropped from the original price of $1499 to under $500. So many people have been grabbing this model since Prime Day and most of them report being quite happy. While it wouldn't have been my favorite at a higher price, at this price, you're getting a premium model at an absurd sale price. I absolutely love the 3i current line up. The vacuum and mop are both fantastic and the app-easy. This is basically my top pick (3i S10 Ultra) minus the dehumidifier. The P10 still has the great sweep/roller design and gets up debris no other brand can without getting clogged. Get this one if you're concerned about larger debris. The Eureka is better than it should be. I loved the sweeper design, it moved debris off hard floors and carpet very effectively and would be my pick for carpet. Rarely got stuck on anything or reported errors, and it was just really reliable. I recommended this model during Prime Day, and got a lot of good feedback from folks who picked it up. |**Model**|**Original Price**|**BDD Price**|**Discount**| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Dreame L40 Ultra](https://amzn.to/48Rswhk)|$799.99|$469.99|41% | |[Eureka J15 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4gUYACY)|699.99|489.99|30%| |[3i P10 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4h1Sy3y)|$1,099.99|$469.99|55%| # [Under $750](https://amzn.to/4nypaUV) Roborock has won my loyalty over the past few years by producing consistently reliable robots, and the S5A is no different. A variant of the Qrevo line, with spinning mop heads that extend. While Roborock may produce an absurd number of models, and the S5A is no exception, they are reliable for an exceptional app experience, with intuitive setting locations, great support and good hardware with easy to find replacement parts. The L40S is the best of both worlds. A premium vac, at a not premium price for now. This is the model with the best balance on this list, of vacuum and mop. It improves over the L40 in the previous band with better nav and suction. Finally, if you want to emphasize mopping, Narwal does it really well. My two issues w this model are that it uses a ridiculous amount of water and there's a giant button on top of the machine your pet or kid will want to bop. If you don't mind refilling a lot, and you dig into the settings to lock the button (or don't have kids/pets) this is ideal. |**Model**|**Original Price**|**BDD Price**|**Discount**| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Narwal Freo Z Ultra (White Version)](https://amzn.to/46IEhUI)|$1,499.99|$550.00|63%| |[Roborock Qrevo Edge S5A](https://amzn.to/46ZYXI5)|$999.99|$649.99|35%| |[Dreame L40s Ultra](https://amzn.to/4o5ARCv)|$1,099.99|$749.99|32%| # [Under $900 ](https://amzn.to/4oad9oS) From the day it was released, I thought the Curv was a steal, most of the premium features of the S8 line, at a better price with improvements to the sweeps, extending out beyond the robot. The CurvX improves on the Curv with higher Pa and better nav. I do think its a better vacuum than mop. The X9 is a better mop than vacuum. but other than getting clogged here and there, was generally a good vacuum, and this is a reasonable price for it. Eureka is the best surprise this year. The J15 line is consistent and reliably performing. I love the sweeps, its a very effective mop and carpet cleaner and offers US based support. |**Model**|**Original Price**|**BDD Price**|**Discount**| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Ecovacs x9 Pro Omni](https://amzn.to/46CySzK)|$1,599.00|$899.00|44%| |[Eureka J15 Max Ultra](https://amzn.to/46UkK3x)|1199.99|$899.00|25%| |[Roborock Qrevo CurvX](https://amzn.to/48PvS4j)|$1,499.99|$899.99|40%| # [Over $900 ](https://amzn.to/48OKBMY) In this band are my top two recommendations. Let's start with my favorite robot of all time (a BIG statement). 3i has been making robots for other brands for a while, but the 3i is their first flagship. The S10 Ultra blew me away and became the only robot I've ever kept after testing. It will vacuum anything, without getting stuck or clogged. I mean, giant pieces of mulch. No problem. It cleans water on its own and generates more from the air, so it truly is set it and forget it. Totally autonomous. I've been yapping about it for months, and of everyone who bought it during Prime Day, I'd say people were split, 60/40. Most loved it, but some complained of a musty smell, which makes sense, since the unit is basically a dehumidifier (that's how it generates water). I've had mine for 6 months and don't notice a smell in a very wet state (Oregon), but it seems like something worth noting. So let's talk about the Flow. I tested the Dreame and Narwal roller mops, (and previously, the Eufy roller mops). Everyone is obsessed with roller mops, but the Flow is the first one I recommend. The flow improves on the Freo Z and X by not needing to be refilled constantly, and the vacuum improves over all other Narwal models. I still don't think roller mops are the end all/be all, so I wouldn't recommend dropping $1500 of this model, but I do think the Flow is worth buying at this sale price. |**Model**|**Original Price**|**BDD Price**|**Discount**| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[3i S10 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4o7hKIe)|$1,899.99|$1,099.99|42%| |[Narwal Flow](https://amzn.to/3IxMoLX)|$1,499.99|$1,099.99|27%| If you're looking for ALL the models on sale for Big Deal Days, they're [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1nvsulx/every_robovac_on_sale_for_amazon_big_deal_days/) or s[ee all sales models at once](https://amzn.to/4nt1sJH). r/RobotVacuums • Big Deal Day Recommendations by Price Band - These are the robots I'd buy ->the edge and the curv are the same machine, with a different tower design. One is taller, the other wider. Personally, I preferred the curv, but that's all it is, preference. Retractable LIDAR is, FWIW< a very good thing, but if you feel this passionately, go w the edge.
r/RobotVacuums • Big Deal Day Recommendations by Price Band - These are the robots I'd buy ->It blows my mind how far Roomba has fallen. I was a die-hard fan and would have died defending them until I got my first Roborock, a QRevo Edge, and my life has been forever changed. It is beyond superior in every way to my Roomba which was demoted to basement duty. A huge plus for me was the ease of integration into Home Assistant. It plays so much nicer than iRobot.
r/RobotVacuums • Hi everyone, I wanted to get my sister a robot vacuum. Amazon has a lot of sales going on. Wondering if anyone has favorite brands OR brands to stay away from? ->I bought the Roborock edge because of their review and absolutely love it. I used to be a die hard iRobot user up until last September. Best vacuum I’ve ever used!
r/RobotVacuums • need a better reviewer than vacuum wars ->I got the Roborock Edge back in September. The other half was not pleased with the money I spent but now she isn’t sweeping up dog fur everyday. She quickly grew to love it. Especially for the kitchen.
r/RobotVacuums • My wife is no longer complaining about how much I spent on the robot vacuum ->I went with the Qrevo edge last September and have been so very happy with it.
r/Roborock • What is the best Roborock vacuum to buy nowadays? ->I hav been an iRobot man for years. Owned roombas since 2009. I bought the QRevo Edge this year and I will never go back to iRobot.
r/Roborock • Best robo vacuum under 1500 ->I have the Qrevo Edge. I never thought I would care about the mop but my god is it amazing on my hardwood floors. Handles 3 dogs and one is a husky. The vacuuming, mopping, and traversal have all been flawless since I bought it back last October or November. I love this robot and I was a die hard iRobot fan until I had enough.
r/Roborock • Rec for self emptying robot, no mop that handles pet hair ->what do you mean? As in they can do them, but terribly, or physically cant do corners? The MaxV has the mop flexiarm, the curve and the qrevo ultra has the side brush and mop flexiarm.
r/Roborock • Which Roborock model to buy from Costco ? ->I've got one, here's my experience with it: [https://www.reddit.com/r/Roborock/comments/1m1fwfz/what\_leveltype\_of\_navigationobject\_avoidance\_is/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roborock/comments/1m1fwfz/what_leveltype_of_navigationobject_avoidance_is/) [https://www.reddit.com/r/Roborock/comments/1m2ct18/dog\_acting\_funny\_vacuum\_not\_charging/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roborock/comments/1m2ct18/dog_acting_funny_vacuum_not_charging/) [https://www.reddit.com/r/Roborock/comments/1m1flq0/qrevo\_5ae\_freeing\_up\_time\_for\_our\_puppy/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roborock/comments/1m1flq0/qrevo_5ae_freeing_up_time_for_our_puppy/) It seems good, it does bump a bit more into things such as corners than I would have thought, this might be normal for a robot vacuum though, it's my first one so I can't really compare. At the moment it does everything I want from it, only thing I'd like is a bit better obstacle avoidance, specifically not climbing on furniture.
r/Roborock • Is the Roborock Qrevo (2024 / 5AE variant) good for a 2-cat home? Looking for real user reviews 🐾 ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
