"Something that I really like with this robot is it's ability to automatically detect if not doing a thorough enough cleaning on any section, and deciding to come back for another run, and not only that, even deciding whether that second run should be both vacuum and mop or just the second mop run. Sometimes that happens because my kid came in and didn't want my feet , while other times my dog tracked in extra do it, and other times it's because someone made a mess while eating."

It's very effective, and leaves the mop cloths mildly warm when it leaves the dock to hit the next room (on my old S6, I used to hand wash the mop cloth right before running the robot every night, so I didn't want to take the step down). AccuracyVsPrecision 1.0What settings are you using? I love my edge so far. The only hesitation i have is getting a second one upstairs for mostly carpet i think ill get a S10R to not pull the mops all over.
I like my edge and for $700 on black friday i think its a good balance between top of the line and budget with enough nave that as long as a cord isnt super flat on the ground its avoided everything.
The edge also has one of the largest cleaning times/area. I use almost 80% on just one pass
AceHiStation 1.0I have a [QRevo Edge](https://amzn.to/3NoUAA3) and I'm obsessed. I hadn't had robot vacuum since my robotic swiffer thing \~10 years ago, but this thing is amazing. I haven't set it up yet to automate, but the plan is that once I'm outside of a mile radius of my house and my home hasn't been fully cleaned in 3 days, it automatically vacuums and mops the whole place. Some really slick features, and be sure to get some soap that was deliberately designed for RoboRock.

AdobeFlashSucks 1.0Roborock Qrevo CurvX. Had the Edge S5A for a few weeks I got from Prime day sale, but felt like I should’ve went with one with better threshold clearance and obstacle avoidance. Also getting 10% off on top of the sale price makes it seem perfect for price and features.
aerodynamix 0.1I found the obstacle avoidance on the Qrevo series to be pretty disappointing. Switched to Dreame L40 and have been very happy. They almost never grab a cord.
Airaen 0.1Why are robot vacuum model names so confusing? Anyway, I bought the Roborock Q Revo L (Australian model I think?) in the last Amazon sale and it's been lovely. The spinning mop heads actually work better than I expected - they obviously won't pick up everything like stubborn stains but they do a 90% job every time. I have the one with the auto emptying dustbin, auto refilling and auto emptying water tanks, auto mop washing, and it's great - probably the best money I've spent all year. It does tend to get pretty dirty though, and the area where it washes and dries the mops tends to get a bit gunky and needs a good scrub pretty much weekly. Disclaimer: I've never owned a robot vacuum before this, so I could just be wowed by the whole thing in general rather than the specifics of this particular model
Alfeetoe 1.0I picked up an Edge S5A on eBay as a new in box (though I suspect it was a refurb) for ~$550 shipped. It’s miles better than my last robot vacuum-only (Roomba i8+), and while it’s not a “flagship” model, I definitely notice the improvement. It’s much quieter than my last robot, the performance is better, the mopping has been great for my kitchen, and I definitely recommend it if you can find a deal.
Alive-Cake-1783 1.0I prefer the s8 maxv ultra over the edge (returned the edge) the vacuuming is significantly better on the s8. The mopping is okay compared to the edge. My floors actually seemed worse with dirt after using the edge.
allbecca 1.0I have the Roborock Qrevo edge and fully tile floors on my first floor (and two dogs, with a muddy yard every time it rains…) and I feel like it gets my floors clean!
