"Noble fokus rex5 best sounding change my mind. ... Five drivers per ear bud game changing for sure ... Yes, you're so right. They are by far number one. ... There may be a few airbuds that get better battery a little bit, better ANC but right now my two cents worth, there's nothing on a planet that sounds better than these. ... I have all the heavy hitters. The techniques 80/100 Sony 4 and 5 sennheisers 3 and 4 and the Devialet gemini II. ... Ronontech on YouTube did a review on the Aviot a few days ago. I belive he liked the Nobels better. ... Also on YouTube, check out Flossie Carter review on the Nobles, he went absolutely nuts. Best sounding wireless earbuds he has ever heard."
"As for gaming I'd probably rank them 1. A50 ... As for music I'd rank them 1. A50 ... And for movies I would rank them 1. A50."
"these fifth generation A50s sound better than anything I’ve ever used. ... New DAC, new Graphene drivers, really nice sounding."

"Besides the center channel on Samsung is fantastic even on my Q800 which is not as good as the 990. It's so clear it's crazy, glass breaking in movies sounds real as well because of the center channel."
"blew me away with the level of detail it has ... nothing I've had even sounds remotely close ... none of them are even close to the Ambeo in terms of detail to the sound ... it's truly INCREDIBLE!!!"
"Sounds sooooo insanely polished & perfect it's almost scary how clean it sounds. ... If you strictly want the absolute cleanest sounding system, Ambeo Plus is the ONLY way to go!!"

"Little details appear in movies I've seen multiple times that I've never heard before. ... In Pearl Harbor, during the big invasion sequence that must go on for twenty minutes... lol But I swear, you could feel the shell casings hitting the ground below your feet. An actual tactile feeling. So real it was almost disorienting. Color me impressed"
"We have bass modules for both bars as well and they definitely up the immersion factor. Not just by adding bass…the whole setup sounds bigger."
"Dialogue and bass are perfect and have mine set to 0, so I can't imagine you would have an issue."

"The surround effects that come out of this thing are practically otherworldly. ... Just watching music videos on YouTube is an eyeopener. ... The way the sound follows you as you walk around the room or even just turn your head while sitting still are like something that I've never experienced. ... It's that " sound mapping " feature, I forget the official name of it, but it's worth every penny for that effect alone. ... magical surrounding audio bliss this unit conjures up on the spot."

"The rear speakers make a huge difference along with the upfiring speakers for Atmos content."

"A Sonos Ray is perfect for a small apartment."
"For me the Ray filled the niche of an under-monitor soundbar perfectly ... when it was on sale it was well worth it."

"But, in terms of Atmos and the bar's upward firing speakers, the results are less than jaw dropping. ... But so far little specific overhead effects have manifested themselves."
"we don’t get specific height effects either. Just a greater sense of height to the overall presentation."
"Is it as good for atmos? No"

"means carrying two devices, which kills the portability of speakers for travel. ... if the bass isn’t strong, it kind of defeats the purpose for me"
"it lacks a lot of the power of the Polk mainly because it has no woofer. ... If you want sound with power and punch, go with the Polk."
"Must pry off (using exacts or thin bladed knife )glued on panel near right rear of unit looking from back. Mini plug there, rca on jbl subwoofer."

"There's also that Bose BM700 subwoofer popping/crackling noise issues, but depends on your wifi settings apparently. ... But at casual listening volumes that damn subwoofer electrical popping noise (the miss) was just so noticeable it was too much for me, so I sold it & moved on"

"The app for accessing and retrieving the videos off the device remotely is a pile of crap!"
"The app. It's a complete pain in the ass to view any footage ... it won't update the firmware because the dashcam connects to my phone via wifi and if it's connected via wifi, there's not any actual Internet access from the cellular signal so it can never update 🤣 what a joke."
"I could never get into the app to control settings, so I bought the remote. ... It would show up in Bluetooth and connect for no longer than a minute or 2, but the app wouldn’t populate any models to connect with. ... Then other times in Bluetooth the speaker would show up along with a ‘vizioapp’ connection. Same issue, would connect and disconnect and never show the model in the app."
Any suggestions for a soundbar pairing 83 LG g5? I got the s95ar but compared to my Bose soundbar 600 and maybe it's me it sounds super different and not really in a good way. What's your experience and what would you reccomend? My TV getting mounted and I have them mounting a soundbar too so got to figure it out today. Thanks in advance
Hi everyone, wanted to share my experience from having the Polk Magnifi Mini AX for more than a year, and now I have switched to the Bose 600. I have/had them in a kind of small room, and the main purpose was gaming (PS5) and movies to take advantage of ATMOS effects. The Polk has good audio quality, very punchy sound because of the woofer, but the ATMOS effect is not great (neither top nor side effect). When compared to the Bose, the Bose gives us more details and the high-ends are better, but it lacks a lot of the power of the Polk mainly because it has no woofer. However, the Bose is way better in Atmos because of the top and side speakers, would say it is a bit better for music also. So mainly because of the Atmos, the Bose is better for me, but if you don't care about Atmos, for overall (TV, Gaming, movies, music, ...) use, I would say the Polk is a better package and most of the time it costs less....even more if you intend to add the satellites for surround since they are much cheaper.
Sorry for the late answer. If you want sound with power and punch, go with the Polk. If you want detail, clear voices, and atmos performance (the difference in atmos performance is significant), go with the Bose. Performance for the money, Polk is better IMHO, but I really wanted atmos performance.
i had both and the 900 is far superior to the 600, especially with the bass module. Get the 900 or Ultra
Just a thought: I don’t know the construction method or date of your building, but having lived in 1930s builds with plaster and wood walls/floors, I can tell you a sub and any rear-firing speakers are gonna carry through to another unit if your building isn’t good at sound dampening already. Or if you luck out and the wall cavity isn’t near another dwelling space. Bass travels. And they tend to build more cheaply these days. If you currently can’t hear neighbors above or below in daily life, maybe that’ll be fine. Not much one can do except have sound dampening products like rugs and fabric in your space, and be considerate after hours. On your actual query: I’d go soundbar. I have a Bose 600 with sub now and it’s great. I had a Sonos Beam and sub before. Also good but Sonos kept having garbage software updates and dropped connection to WiFi.
Top picks (all true Atmos + wireless sub, ≤ 42”) • Vizio M-Series Elevate M512e-K6 (41.38”) — 5.1.2 with included rears + up-firing in the bar. Killer immersion per dollar. • Samsung HW-Q600C (40.6”) — 3.1.2 with up-firing drivers, eARC, and works with Samsung Q-Symphony (your Q90T supports Q-Symphony with compatible bars). Great if you want the TV+bar to play together. • Polk Signa S4 (41.2”) — 3.1.2 with two dedicated up-firing heights; simple, slim, and dialog-friendly. • LG S75Q (35.1”) — Compact 3.1.2 with upward-firing height channels, HDMI eARC, Dolby Vision passthrough. • Bose Smart Soundbar 600 (27.3”) + Bass Module 500 — Small bar with 2 up-firing drivers; add the sub for real low-end. (Sub is separate.)
The bose 600 is nice !
Ultra. Granted I’m not a bass head and live in an apartment and tried both the 600 and Ultra. Wider soundstage and room correction(not sure if they’ve added it to the Smart). I’m still sometimes surprised at how sounds feel like they’re coming from the sides of my living room. If you feel the bass isn’t enough, you can save up and get the BM but you can’t add to the bar.
I preferred the Bose 600 or whatever they’re calling it now(Smart something) to the Beam when I tried them out. Size wise they were about the same.
That sucks that it doesn’t work well w the Hisense. I have a 900 and 600, both connected to Sony TVs and they’ve been pretty much plug and play since day one.
I own both and a lot depends on room size. The 900 has a wider sound stage and maybe a little more detail. For a small room, you might not hear the benefit of the 900s soundstage because the 600 does a great job filling smaller spaces.
For a room that size, I'd go with the 900 due to the wider soundstage. Our TV room is a little smaller than yours and the 600 doesn't sound as big and wide in there as the 900. We use the 600 for our bedroom which is a smaller room.
You might want to check out the Bose smart soundbar. In our bedroom we have a soundbar 600 (predecessor to the smart soundbar) and it sounds really good. It sounds much bigger than it is and does a great job with immersion and detail.
In one room I am suing a Soundbar 600, with the smaller surrounds and 500 sub. It works for me except sometimes when connected to LG tv I have to unplug and replug the soundbar. In another room using a Ultra with the 500 sub. For my needs, a 600 would be fine but when moving the Ultra into a different room with older wood paneling on the sides , I noticed some nice seperation from cymbals. Since I moved the ultra to a new tv from an old one- I will need to get another soundbar (smaller space) and might get a Beam or the current $400 Bose and no woofer.
I have a C4 77 as well in a room about 13 feet by 11 feet and using a Bose Soundbar 600 (now replaced with the Bose Smart SOundbar) and the 500 Bose subwoofer. One of the reasons i picked the Bose was I already liked the sound for the type of music I listen to.

I got a lot of shitty soundbars before for cheap. I invested in a Bose 600 Atmos soundbar and a subwoofer for like 1200. It sounds great and shakes the room and the fake up firing atmos works pretty well. Although the bar itself has technical issues all the time with connecting to the tv
