Months of looking at too many desks and too many reviews... flexispot arrived today.
Desk is still good! Went with the 40x24 solid top piece. The packaging was good but did end up with a small ding in the side during shipping. It also ships in two separate packages which many miss in the description.
I just went through this, but my requirements were strict (needed to be at least 30" in depth). I landed on Flexispot since it fit my criteria and was still affordable. They have a 48"x24" EN1 on Amazon for $109 right now or an EN2 for $159
If anything short people need this more than tall people lol. It took me forever to find a good desk, I got a flexispot 2 leg that goes down to 23.8
Most of my office bought standing desks during covid and I've found it great - tend to use it during the afternoon after a morning of working sitting down. £500 sounds a lot though, everyone I know has a Flexispot which works brilliantly, I have the basic one which was about £130, holds dual monitor arm, 2 laptops etc and solid as anything. The best add-on is a wiring basket to hang underneath - I have a 6-socket extension lead in there, so there is only 1 long cable going from desk to wall socket, and all cables are neatly tidied away out of sight.
I got a flexispot frame and added my own worktop and absolutely love it. Have been using it for a couple of years with no issues and it goes up higher than any other desk I tried which is great for my height
I have an ikea countertop and a flexispot standing desk frame and it’s the best decision ever.
I bought a flexispot but just the frame as I already had a desktop I wanted to use from Ikea - it was £135 and really easy to fit
I got a flexispot frame for £135, I already had a top I wanted to use from Ikea which was dirt cheap so just bought the frame. One reason I wanted a flexispot is it goes lower as well as higher. I’m average height (5ft6) and the average desk is too high for me (70 cm) so having something which goes lower is just as important as something which goes higher. Going to grab a stool to go with it
I bought flexispot frame and nagpa-customized ako ng acacia table top. Total would be around 21k since mahaba yung desk.
It’s great, I’ve had one for about a year. I bought a frame from Flexispot, and a nice desk top from Ikea. Monitor is on an arm so that’s also adjustable. I spend about half the day standing, half sitting. Buy a decent chair to go with it though.
I did the same, got a nice frame from flex spot and a massive fuckoff piece of oak that I couldn’t even get up the stairs without help. Definitely worth it and much nicer than the plastic mdf stuff they have.
