Jarvis (Fully) - Jarvis Bamboo Standing Desk

2.5 years ago I redid my home office and spent up on nice Uplift desks. I didn't go for standing, but the 2 desks/tables I bought are solid and were worth it. I would imagine their standing models are also solid. They all use the same table/top options. If you want more than 1 desk you can mix and match a standing and non-standing and have them match perfectly. My standing desk at work is a Jarvis. It's also fine, though I rarely use it standing up ... which is why I didn't go stand-up at home. As for cable management, the frames are all magnetic. So some magnets & velcro ties have been fine. Google magnetic cable management for ideas.

After years of experience, I would advise my past-me who was shopping for a sit-stand desk: - get the electric version with the memories. Making it easy to change heights is the most important feature. - get a smaller tabletop (or get a 4-legged table). It wobbles the bigger it gets. - the adjustable monitor arm is extremely helpful at getting the correct levels for eye and hands. - you don’t need 2 monitors. Get a wide monitor - the sit-stand chair is a great companion

Don’t ignore edge shape. A beveled or curved front edge reduces wrist pressure more than you’d think. My Jarvis with the curved cutout keeps keyboard/mouse closer and shoulders relaxed.

Just got a desky, honestly didn’t even know it was a thing till the day I ordered it. It came super lightly damaged due to fedex placement and box coming apart a smidge, they were super responsive, offered a replacement part or adjustment within an hour of me reaching out. I also love the product I got the Bambu and it is fantastic.

I’ve had the Fully Jarvis bamboo desk for two years. Rock solid, smooth motor, no weird wobble. Pricey but worth it if you stand half the day. Avoid the AmazonBasics ones, mine died in six months.

I have one I got several years ago, but spent quite a bit on it. Jarvis, I think? Anyway, it's only 36" wide, which I had to have because that's the space I had to fit. It doesn't wobble unless I grab it and shake it. While I like most things about it, the only aspect I truly hate is my own fault: hanging underneath is a Gordian knot of cables and ties and dust and bugs. Well, maybe not bugs, but it's still a nasty mess I don't enjoy looking at. Because of limited space, I almost never stand at it. The mechanism works extremely well, but I'll point out that this is my second motor etc--the first one buggered itself up and couldn't be reset, but the entire desk is guaranteed for 10 years, so they sent me an entirely new mechanism (priority!), and it has worked perfectly ever since. That happened four years ago. It was remarkably easy to file a claim--I called them up, explained, the person had me try a few things, and then said, "I'm sending you new legs and a new mechanism." Less than twenty minutes all told. It's worked faultlessly ever since. Ah. Turns out I spent $500 on it, and that was in 2018. No idea what they cost now, but I'm sure they're worth it. I wish I had more room to get a wider desk, but I still have three years left on my warranty, and that makes up for a lot.

Bought Jarvis. Had for 5 years. Lift started going out. Herman Miller bought Jarvis. They sent me a completely new desk. Top and legs! Recommend.
