r/WFHAre standing desks worth it in your opinion? How often do you use yours? How “bad” are the budget ones?

Absolutely love mine. Best investment I've made in a long time, but it was not cheap. Mine is an Uplift.

r/StandingDeskWho can help me figure out a family-friendly standing desk that won't become a disaster zone? (New home setup)

Had my Uplift for 2 years with my kids (8 and 10). Cable setup is ok but not perfect. Added some extra clips myself. Seen that LumiDesk on Kickstarter? Their cable management looks pretty sweet.

r/StandingDeskWhy do all standing desks assume everyone is 5'8"??

Yep my uplift hits 24. Goes up plenty high and I’m 6’4”. Not sure what’s going on with OP

r/homeofficeWFH folks, what's YOUR best pick of Height Adjustable Standing Desk? Do you really use it?

Here's my review, from years ago, of the UPLIFT desk I got. [https://www.reddit.com/r/StandingDesk/comments/gqpdsb/a\_few\_months\_in\_update\_on\_the\_80x30\_uplift\_i/](https://www.reddit.com/r/StandingDesk/comments/gqpdsb/a_few_months_in_update_on_the_80x30_uplift_i/) I still have it. It's still rock solid.

I've had an Uplift desk for 5 years. Reliable and sturdy. No issues with it

r/StandingDeskIs it just me, or are standing desks still… kinda disappointing?

I love my uplift desk. I have a much smaller / cheaper one at work that is pretty good too…

This question doesn't make a lot of sense to me - if it's too *high* you have to hunch? That seems backwards. You think they're designed for folks 5'8" because you're 6'3" and it's too high for you? Again, that seems backwards. Uplift standing desks (like mine) go from around 24" to around 50". I'm not sure what you were looking at that wouldn't go below 30.

Same - 6'6", uplift desk, sitting desk is at 31, standing it's at like... 48 I think? No issues.

I’m sure the cost is one reason. They are great desks, but are more expensive for sure.

r/StandingDesk I love my Uplift, but there's cheaper options out there.

6'6 and currently sitting with my desk at 31"... not sure what the issue is here? It goes down to 25". I have my monitors on an arm to raise them to proper height when I'm standing. Edit: Uplift desk.
