If I type and the monitor vibrates at all, it’s a non-starter. You don’t have to live with that. But you do have to pay to avoid it. Weight, 4 legs, and a crossbar. Like the uplift 4 leg/crossbar setup.

Just upgraded from a cheap Amazon desk to the Uplift V2 Commercial and the difference is shocking. The cheap one would shake when I typed and the motor died after 14 months. The Uplift is absolutely rock solid and the 15 year warranty gives peace of mind. Yes it's expensive but buy once cry once. Get the memory pad not the basic switch.

No experience with Deskhaus, but my wife has an Uplift v2 Commercial and I just got the new V3 so I can speak to the differences. The v3 is definitely an improvement over the v2 in terms of the build experience, much more comes pre-assembled and it took me about half the time of the v2 to put it together. The included cable management channel is also much better with the v3 - it's sturdier, has more room, and making adjustments is much easier than the "custom-fit" v2 solution. Granted this part does not matter if you go with a 3rd party cable management option. The only issue I had was on the desktop for the v3, the predrilled holes to install the brackets for the cable channel were about a half inch too close together and I had to drill a new hole on that side to allow the channel to hang correctly. A little annoying, but did not take much extra time or effort. The rest of the predrilled holes in both desktops were positioned perfectly and assembly was pretty simple for each. Again, more steps on v2 both because less was preassembled, plus the extra crossbar to install on the commercial version. Outside of build experience I haven't noticed any significant differences in stability or function between the two versions. They're good quality desks, not much more to say.

Uplift - can program different heights, honestly sometimes i just use it by going up or down an inch or two, and it's a beautiful desk. Got the commercial one so i could go down really low and rest my feet on the ground.

Uplift v2 - yep, I'm five feet nothing so the height adjustability is great for me.

I just splurged on two Uplift v2 commercial desks for me and my wife. We chose their wide-plank walnut surfaces (as opposed to their butcher block). I believe the wide-plank is one of their most expensive tops. I only mention this because, as a hobbyist woodworker, I was prepared to build my own, but slabs and surfacing/finishing take time and money that I don't have right now. For the price, the frame is incredible and the tops are much nicer than expected. These particular tops cost only a little more than I would spend on raw material, let alone the time and money to finish them. The pre-drilled holes match up perfectly with the frame, but I'm still struggling with what to get for aftermarket cable management. The surface comes with holes pre-drilled for the basics: frame, basic cable management device (Uplift seemed too flimsy, so I opted out of that), and the toggle device for the height adjustment. You will need to drill your own holes for anything beyond that. Their accessories leave a bit to be desired, so consider getting the desk and frame and waiting to measure for aftermarket accessories. Regarding promos, I did receive an additional discount. I heavily researched other brands and competitors and put a shopping cart together with Uplift when I thought I was ready to purchase (including a Honey coupon code and the Uplift promo). I called to speak with a sales rep to confirm I had all the necessary pieces, accessories, etc. that I may need. They asked me to screenshot the cart and send it over for review. They returned the next day with an updated order that included everything plus a deeper discount than what I was already working with. I don't recall the specifics, but it was a few hundred dollars less than I was prepared to spend. I am pleased with everything so far.

Still loving mine! It’s my daily desk and 7-8 months on, it still feels brand new. The ONLY thing I am l debating in hindsight is whether I should have gotten the V2 commercial or not. The cross brace makes the desk incredibly stable but I’m curious if it’s necessary. The size and weight of the desk is substantial so I’m fine prioritizing the stability. I would have liked room for a filing cabinet (or some other unit) but the cross brace makes it tough.

I have the V2 Commercial C-Frame (two legs with crossbar) on a 60x24 walnut top. And yes, it is 1.75" thick. It's wonderful. Hope that helps!

I think Uplift would fit with almost all your criteria if you wanted to do minimal DIY stuff. Motorized with programmable presets 48" width Considered to have good stability for a 2 legged desk. Available in C frame with or without a crossbar. The crossbar is for side to side stability, something not really needed for most desk use cases. Uplift states that the standard V2 with wedges has equivalent side to side stability as their desk with the crossbar. The crossbar version is mainly to maintain side to side stability with a lower minimum height. Standard desk shape with a good height range. Large amount of desktop options that are predrilled. It comes with a cable management tray that has an adhesive and two screws. Drilling/screwing accessories is really not as difficult as it may seem but with the amount of stuff you have, you probably don't even need a cable management tray. Using the supplied sticky back cable tie mounts and some zip ties, you can easily use the frame of the desk itself to manage your cables. If you don't like that, there are some lighter/smaller cable management raceways that can be attached using adhesive like this https://www.amazon.com/6X15-7in-Management-Install-Self-Adhesive-Organizer/dp/B07Q8QN5CB?th=1. They have tons of accessories which makes it a one stop shop, but you can find better deals for most of them from other places like Amazon. Grommet holes are more of a personal preference but remember that grommet holes can be added but cannot be removed or moved. Just one power strip is all that you need but if you wanted to mount it to the desk without drilling, they do have power strips that mount to the frame. Most available monitor arms clamp onto the back or have the option to switch for grommet mount, so there is no issue with adding those later.

I had some good responses with Deskhaus, Flexispot, and Uplift. Didn't really contact anybody else.

If the OP does go with this recommendation, the 4 leg model is very large in depth and may not work with a monitor arm clamp without modifying the desk. They may need to remove an adjustable crossbar (shouldn't affect stability per Uplift) or add a block to help with clamping onto the frame.

I was referring to the distance from the front to back of the desk. The frame itself is a little over 25" in depth, so with a 30" depth desktop, there is only about 2.5" of space from the edge of the desk to the frame. Clamps like the Ergotron LX need around 3" of space to clamp, so the desk would have to be modified in some way to get that 3" clamp to fit the 2.5" space.

Yep it is big enough to clamp on the frame but the circle piece of the clamp wouldn't be centered on the frame and the frame isn't thick enough for full contact of the clamp. They would need something like the block of wood I mentioned to have full secure contact, especially if it is holding 4 monitors. Easiest option would be to remove the adjustable cross support but some people have complained about needing to remove a piece to make monitor arms work. The grommet mount would definitely be an option but not everyone likes a grommet mount.

The Uplift V2 and V2 Commercial have additional features to increase the side to side stability (wedges on the column for the V2 and a crossbar for the V2 Commercial). The V3 supposedly has similar/better stability to the v2 without the wedges. The Uplift also has accessories that will bolt directly to the frame, which may interest those who don't want to or can't mount things to the desktop.

Uplift desk no question. Get the Uplift V2 Commercial, allows the desk to go all the way down to 22.6 in. and all the way up to a max of 48.7 in. Ive had mine for over a year and its preformed flawlessly. Very stable with no shake when typing at a 42.8 height when standing with 2 monitors attached.

I have a dual monitor setup with two laptops on it and it is stable enough for me. I am standing at it right now typing and I do not notice any wobble on my screens. I do see a little vibration on my laptop screen as that is on a monitor arm. For normal use I find it to be good. It will move if I lean on it or push it but any two leg is going to do that.

Uplift Desk is having a sale until December 2 that they call the "Best Sale of the Year". Code BFCM saves up to $670. I have their V2 two-leg desk and am very satisfied with it.

I was mistaken. I actually have the V2 **4**\-leg desk -- not the 2-leg one. As you would expect for a 4-leg desk, it is rock-solid when fully raised. This is with a 60" X 36" X 1.75" butcher block top.
