**Edited: For Women pala OP hanap mo! Here's the updated recos:** **Trail Running Shoes (2-3k)** - **[Merrell Fly Strike WOMEN](https://s.shopee.ph/6fXxkuvac6):** Solid to maganda grip nya and okay for hiking and trail running. Lightweight lang din. - **[PEAK Dune WOMEN](https://s.shopee.ph/6Abh9xuNlx):** Good trail running shoes din eto. Much better option compared to Camel na nagiging stiff and madulas ayon sa iba. Maganda stability + comfort. - **[Adidas Terrex Soulstride WOMEN](https://s.shopee.ph/4VTTB2Zzdq):** Maganda yung grippy traxion outsole niya. Good talaga for hiking and trail running. Maganda grip sa madudulas na surfaces. - **[Merrell Morphlite WOMEN](https://s.shopee.ph/4VTTB5ic0P):** Sticky rubber outsole niya so solid din grip and traction nito. - **[Merrell Burlwood Women](https://s.shopee.ph/qaAoOzcZU):** This one is 3.9k na but good rin as trail running shoes. Outsole is made of Vibram so maganda grip niya talaga and good for muddy trails. - **[Merrell Antora 3 WOMEN](https://s.shopee.ph/4q6JZtGUsb):** May odor control tong shoes na ito which is what I like about it. May shock absorption and maganda outsole niya Vibram TC5+ sobrang ganda ng traction neto 3.9k siya.

I've done hundreds and hundreds of miles, all year round, in a £60 pair of Merrell Fly Strike. Which demonstrates that budget options can work, so long as you find a shoe that works for you. I've hiked 20+ miles on hot sunny days, torrential downpours, through heavy snow. All low-level England. I would switch to boots for hills/mountains. I pair them with dexshell waterproof socks and never had wet or sore feet.

I wear Merrell Fly Strike as my casual trainers. Look like a trainer and can go hiking or trail running in them.

Hello, OP. Marami naman affordable options online. Ito mga budget line up recommendations ko: Budget line up (1k-2k) * The best option is [**Sandugo Fuji Trail Running Shoes**](https://s.shopee.ph/1qRZTovz8h) 2k lang yan, size 5 yung smallest pero out of stocks try to check physical stores. made for hiking and maganda yung traction and stability ng sandugo. * Next on the list is [**Merrell Hydro Runner** ](https://s.shopee.ph/9pUQemyVOO)smallest size is 5 as well. You can never go with merrell pagdating sa hiking shoes, the best brand out there. May [black variant](https://s.shopee.ph/4q5khcvlT7) ito. Check yung availability ng sizes here sa links. * [**Camel Women Hiking Shoes**](https://s.shopee.ph/9pUQehIOGn) (smallest is size 35) is a really good quality for a hiking shoes considering na 2k lang din siya. Really stable and makapit. You can check their [shopee store](https://s.shopee.ph/4q5Ug9RMby) for more options. Midrange (3k-7k) * [**Merrell Fly Strike Trail Running Shoes**](https://s.shopee.ph/7pjMHG7ulV) around 3k+ lang ito, budget model from merrell. Smallest size is 5 as well. * Next is [Merrell Agility Peak 5](https://s.shopee.ph/Vw0v3PziU) (6k), yan ang pinaka balanced na model ng merrell for me, good stability and traction. Merrell is one of the best brands in hiking.  * [Merrell Nova 3](https://s.shopee.ph/VwPNRrqib) (5k+) is also a good option. Makapit at stable din.

If shoes, mas okay pa rin talaga mga Merrell for hiking. Sa madulas at mabatong trail pinaka okay iyong **[Merrell Agility Peak 5](https://s.shopee.ph/30eiRn7lK0)**. May Vibam MegaGrip outsole siya. Okay sa mga wet & rocky terrains as well as for technical ones. Maganda grip & stability nito. Also, si **[Merrell Nova 3](https://s.shopee.ph/7fQY0J5hmm)** it has Vibram TC5+ outsole so sobrang strong ng grip nito. Maganda cushioning niya and versatile choice of shoes since good for both hiking + trail running ito. If gusto yung cheaper pa, I suggest si **[Merrell Fly Strike](https://s.shopee.ph/6AcxvsT8WB)** trail running shoes na siya. Maganda traction and grip niya plus okay sa mabilisang kilos. Breathable and may shock absorption na so okay na option din talaga siya.

I use Merrell Fly Strike Trail as a general wear shoe, don't feel too hard on tarmac but have a reasonable tread for light trail

Over the years I’ve worn trail runners from Merrill and Salomon, or standard running shoes from Nike and NB. A comfortable fit was the main criteria. Even on wet ground I’d rather have fast drying sneakers than boots.

I wouldn't know haha. I have some wide feet and have no problems. About 100 miles of trails and they look like they are brand new besides mud stains.

Just came back from Val Gardena area (Col Rodella/Antermoia/Vajolet Towers). I used my Merrill Trail runners but packed a pair of black Rothy Mary Janes for pre and post in Munich and Innsbruck. They pack up flat, go anywhere and are comfy for walking. Highly recommend if it's not too late!

I’ve got two pairs of trail runners 1 merrell and 1 Nike Pegasus gtx. Both 9.5ik size. The merrell are roomier but have a slightly harder sole. The Nike have a softer sole but are tight across the width of the foot. So as others have said try and get to a running shop and try them on with different types of socks.
