I've only ever used the SuperComp Trail so I don't know either, but looking at them I'd go with Fresh Foam personally. I see some wide's available in your size here (where I buy all my NB for road and trail): [https://www.joesnewbalanceoutlet.com/pd/fresh-foam-x-hierro-v9/MTHIERV9-50176.html](https://www.joesnewbalanceoutlet.com/pd/fresh-foam-x-hierro-v9/MTHIERV9-50176.html)

New Balance Supercomp Trail is this shoe. You can get them discounted these days too.

The more a shoe is a tight (race) fit the more likely I have this happen. I don’t think sizing up would help those type of shoes. For example I can run in the New Balance Supercomp Trail for 14-15 miles if steep but I couldn’t do that same run the next day because those shoes are very hard on the toes. But I could do any steepness in the New Balance More Trail v3, which has a bit bigger toe box (but not as roomy as an Altra Olympus, which I find too roomy for moving fast).

I currently use new balance garoe, previous ones were fuel cell. As with all new balance you wear them in and not wear them out. Perfect trail grip too.
