Based on 1 year's data from Jan 28, 2026 How it works
In a 2024 hard top GTS, the Clek can work for rear facing as long as your passenger isn’t very tall, or has a high tolerance for being squeezed :) Might be too tight of a fit for a Targa though.
Unsure of your needs. We have three: - City Mini GT2: least used. We got this in hopes of more stroller walks. Used it heavy with an infant and not at all with a toddler. It sits in our carport. I couldn’t use this as an every-day stroller. It’s not at all compact and the storage is awful. I will say we have an older version at my mom’s house, which is at the beach. It’s great on the boardwalk and has a larger canopy than the 2. I also learned I hate the style of seat recline on the City Mini. It’s just a PIA IMO. - Cybex Gazelle S: I would recommend this to everyone. Again, depending on need. If you live in a city it may not be a good purchase because it does not fold up small. The storage is HUGE, it’s easy to fold, and it glides so well. I also love the newer seats, which have belts like a car seat. However, it’s really big when folded. I really like the basket and storage. This was so nice for grocery shopping with an infant. Now I have a 2.5 YO. It’s been used many times in Disney because of the storage. We use this stroller mostly for anywhere we go where we don’t want to lug around a backpack. - Cybex Eezy Twist: we love this for airplane travel and on the go. The storage is still really good. I can’t fit my backpack in it, but I can take my packing cubes out and throw them under. Lightweight, smooth ride, and easy to pop up or down. For plane travel, I’m not certain it can be stored in the overhead bin but you can fold it down and put it through the xray. Our infant car seat was a Liing. We took a 1:1 class with a local CPST and it was recommended. $$ but our son was 4 lb 4 oz when we left the hospital. I can’t even remember if there’s a minimum weight for car seats or what it would be, but I recall being told we ended up with a good choice in seat. I wouldn’t suggest purchasing a convertible until you are ready. The technology is constantly improving. Right now we have one that revolves and love it!
With my first I had uppababy cruz with an infant insert, she was a July baby so we did outside walks in it pretty much right away. For car seat we had a Graco snug ride, we didn't have a car at that time so needed something light and easy to bring on Uber rides. We got a car when baby was a year old and at that point she outgrew the bucket seat and we got a clek fllo. This time around I'm due in Feb. Planning to use the same cruz with infant insert with a clek liing car seat. I don't find the bassinet attachment to be very important. I love my cruz though, it's a great urban stroller.
We are big fans of clek. My first had a clek fllo from around 1 year to 5 years then graduated to a clek oobr. I'm expecting and due in Feb with my second and just bought the clek liing for the baby. Clek car seats are on sale now for 20% off. I love that they are made in Canada, and some of the best safety tested seats available.
We went with the Clek Liing because of safety and versatility with many strollers. My second choice was going to be the chico key fit
Clek Liing is also very light!
We just installed our Graco 4ever and it fits really well in our Honda civic! :) more room compared to our Clek Liing
I had a Clek Liingo without a base and used it for the first year. It's currently $399, but usually goes on sale... https://clekinc.ca/collections/infant-car-seats/products/liingo Edited to add- I used it with my Bugaboo Fox for everyday (with adapters), and with the Mountain Buggy Nano for travelling (no adapters required). I also flew with it several times, and gate checked it in a carsea bag from Amazon. I now use the Nuna Rava, which is convertible seat and HUGE for everyday, and the Cosco Scenera for flying/travelling
You can reach out to Angelcab to see what car seats it’s compatible with. But we have the u Series and Clek Liing seat and you need to make sure you buy the iso fix adapter from Angelcab to ensure it fits. If you want to use the Angelcab bassinet, it doesn’t use the adapter so it can be annoying to have to switch from bassinet to car seat.
If you have the room, highly recommend just getting either a mini crib or putting the crib in your room. You’re not supposed to use the bassinet once baby starts rolling even if they don’t meet the maximum weight criteria. That can be as early as 3ish months if you’ve got an early roller. I love the ikea singlar. No paint and it’s a smooth finish, best bang for your buck. Clek liing car seat and we love the bumbleride era. The liing is compatible with a bunch of stollers, you just need the appropriate adapter.
I went with the Silver Cross Reef 2 for the stroller and the Clek Liing for the car seat. I opted out of the bassinet option for the stroller since it has a lay flat seat and is compatible from birth. The stroller is beautiful and it feels very study. The wheels have great shock absorption and the basket can carry quite a bit. It is a heavy duty stroller and is great for walking, but I don’t think you would want to travel with it or be constantly loading/unloading it. I love the car seat since it doesn’t expire for 9 years, has a bunch of additional safety features, and materials do not have flame retardants.
Just bought the clek liing also!
