"We got in a bad car accident a while back and my baby was in a Nuna Rava at the time of the accident. ... Even with that, she walked away with a teeny scratch from the seatbelt and nothing else. ... I immediately went home and ordered two more so we’d have one for each of our cars."
"I've used them for 1500 miles of multi-day hiking with no issues!"
"I've used a Big Agnes Blacktail Hotel for years now. ... I've grown up in the bush and it's by far the best tent I've ever used. ... I've never seen or used a better tent."

"Me too. And I use Apple Airpods. $$$$$"
"$179 is pretty nuts. ... As long as people keep buying them and paying the esports tax, they're gonna keep selling them at this crazy price. ... The G305 feels really similar, but at 1/3 the price. ... I don't truely understand why the G pro light is all the rage. ... I used a G pro for a week, and while it did feel very smooth and responsive, I also had a G305 that felt very similar."
"overpriced and don't ever prove the price difference in sound over the az100."

"the headband fatigues my skull"
"wanted a more FPS friendly gaming mouse ... Mice as big as the Razer Naga, but lighter ... I still use my Naga for mmorpgs and I switch to the Pulsar for every other game."
"Or the Razer Naga that is 122g ... I've used all of them and the weight savings on the Aerox helped me no longer get any kind of wrist discomfort after days of longer gaming sessions."

"The mix is heavy, bulky, and doesn't fold/unfold easily."
"It’s massive ... It takes up the whole trunk of my large SUV. ... It’s heavy"
Uppababy Vista V2 for the win! We didn’t like the uppababy car seats so went with the Nuna Pipa RX and got the adapter. It’s super easy to snap on and both are working really well for us. I also was dead set on a bassinet attachment and am really glad I followed through because we love it and use it all the time. Baby is 1 month old and we use the bassinet attachment when we go out to dinner. She sleeps so well in it! We also use it daily for walks.
We absolutely love our Nuna Pipa RX. The base is so easy to install and takes me all of 15 seconds, which is super nice when we need to change vehicles. The bucket seat clicks right in. 15/10, would buy again. My LO is 14 months and just outgrew it due to her height and graduated to the Rava. Edit to say I bought it on sale during the Nordstrom anniversary sale. I want to say I got ~$150 off, but can't remember exactly.
We just purchased a Nuna Swiv and Nuna Pipa RX! If you have time, wait and see if the new triv LX comes back in stock. I recommend to go to a Nordstrom or somewhere to try them in person
I personally didn’t hate it but also didn’t love it. I had the Keyfit 35 cleartex zip. The elastics for the zip canopy always came off. It was extremely annoying, and it was HEAVY. I felt pretty uncomfortable hand carrying it, especially with its weight. And the straps on it were super annoying to get a decent fit. They’re super thick, and always looked like my babies weren’t tight in it but they were. I did like how it was safe, and the seat at the time went up to 35lbs. Plus the no-rethread harness is super nice. I’m due next week with my 3rd and had to get a new infant seat since the mice got into our Chicco Keyfit. We ended up getting the Nuna Pipa RX and I’m pretty pumped for the weight difference (I make large babies haha) and the shape of the handle. The squareness of the handle seems like it will be more comfortable on my elbow when I have to hand carry? Idk, I hope it’s helpful at least! Lol
I don't know why everyone is recommending the doona. If you're walking around NYC - it will not be a comfortable stroller. With all the cracks and bumps on the street. With zero storage. Hard Pass. You can get a regular nuna pipa rx. You can strap the baby into any car. And get adapters to click into other strollers like Uppababy.
You can’t order Lyfts and Ubers with car seats anymore. KidCar is an app that allows you to order a car with car seats but the app is not very user friendly and I believe you have to pre-order in advance. It’s also more expensive. We’re a year in and when we need a taxi, we use the Nuna Pipa RX because it’s very light and can be installed without a base using the European seat belt path and we purchased adaptors for the Uppababy Minu V3. I also purchased a very cheap Uppababy Vista V2 on Facebook marketplace - I use this when grocery shopping or when we’re out for the day. We also had a fall baby and we spent a lot of time walking to break up the monotony. Good luck!
This was me a month ago. I did all the research and reading online and was so overwhelmed. I didn’t think there was a baby boutique in our city so we went to Nordstrom. The sales girl there was only knowledgeable about Nuna strollers/seats so she showed us those and I was pretty overwhelmed by all the options. Then my husband found a baby boutique in a city 3 hours away so we took a day trip. That was amazing. They had a dedicated sales person go through all their products and demoed everything. Very thorough. They had a regular car seat there with a seatbelt to show you how to strap these infant car seats in without the base. And I also felt I was less overwhelmed this time bc I had already seen them once. Then they told me there was a baby boutique in my city lol. So third time I went to the store in my city. This time we pretty much know which one we wanted but wanted to check out swatches and compare some minor details and had some additional questions. So I highly recommend going to a store to check these out. Another pro is that they’ll usually let you take the floor model car seats out and test it in your car. You want to make sure it fits bc once opened, they can’t be returned. Con is they usually only have the most expensive brands and once you look at these, the cheaper brands will look like crap lol. My husband keeps going up to cheaper stroller and shaking them and say this is not a sturdy as UB lol. So we decided on the Nuna Pipa RX with the base. My husband wanted the anti rebound feature which is in the base. We’re just getting one bc we use my car 90% of the time. We were debating between this and UB Aria bc the Aria is so light. But the sales person told us the Aria is shorter so babies outgrow it faster. Although a new version is coming out soon. He said most babies will outgrow a car seat height wise before weight. For stroller we’ll probably go with the UB Vista. I wanted the Minu bc it’s so light and compact, can lay flat, and has a strap for carrying but my husband wants big wheels. Then I was considering the Cruz bc it’s slightly smaller and more easy to maneuver. But I don’t think I can wait for the Cruz V3 bc I’m due in September. And we also want to have 2 kids back to back if everything goes well. Sorry for such a long comment lol.
We have the pipa rx. It honestly doesn’t seem any safer than any other car seat, except maybe the stability leg. It looks and feels nice, but idk if that justifies the cost. Check out Wirecutter’s reviews on car seats. Graco and Chicco are perfectly safe!
We have the Nuna Pipa URBN and LOVE it!! This is our first baby though so we don’t have much experience with any other car seat. We initially bought the regular Pipa that uses a base and it made our passenger seats virtually unusable (2016 BMW X5 and 2019 Volvo XC-90). The URBN sits lower on the seat due to not using a base and fits much better. It is a breeze to get in and out of our cars, easy and stress free to use in others’ cars, and I love that when I don’t have his car seat in my car all the seats are usable (none taken up by a base). I will say we’ve put it in a couple cars where the seat latches are covered with fabric held in place by Velcro and it has to be undone to install, which is less convenient, but hasn’t been a huge deal for us and in those cases we just use the included latch guides. We also heard people say the base is easier to get in and out every day but for us it’s been super easy, but again we only have experience with the baseless! I’ve also heard critiques about the size/weight limit, but my son was 16 lbs (25th percentile) at 6 months and it’s already pretty heavy. I can’t imagine wanting to carry a baby in a bucket seat around past the 22lb URBN limit personally.
We have the Nuna Pipa (regular) and used it with our Vista stroller with the help of adapter clips. 10/10, would do again, it was the perfect combo for us and I highly recommend.
