"It’s not precious because it was only $50 and it is very sturdy. We’ve gate checked it about 10 times with no damage."
"We rolled it right up to the place, gate checked it, and then picked it up on the other side. ... then you get a solid stroller to use on your trip."

"The Babyzen and City brands don’t really have much adjustment capacity for the the steering handle, so if you’re too tall or too short it may be extremely uncomfortable for you to use something if you need to constantly hunch over."
"I don’t like that you can’t adjust the handle."

"There is one caveat: it does not do parent facing. ... My guy has outgrown the bassinet/car seat but is not quite ready for world facing. So the City Mini GT is now waiting for him to get a bit bigger. ... If it had a reversible seat it would be the perfect stroller for every situation."

"I expect the city mini *could* be used for an infant. The real issue is that their body wouldn’t be big enough to secure in the straps, and they can’t just be free in the seat to lay down bc they’d fall out with any slight bump."
I love my city mini gt, one handed fold and it was great for my off the charts tall toddler
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel strollers for tall toddlers ->Absolutely agree with the City Mini GT. Folds very flat, seat lays back and has mesh that allows for ventilation (great in Florida heat!), and you can fold and steer it with one hand. It’s an absolute dream to push around Disney. It’s a VERY popular stroller rental choice and for good reason.
r/WaltDisneyWorld • Single stroller recommendations if you were to do it again? ->Another vote for the City Mini GT. I’m a nanny and have pushed everything on the market; City Mini is my absolute favorite.
r/WaltDisneyWorld • Single stroller recommendations if you were to do it again? ->I love the Baby Jogger City Mini GT (the old version). Big wheels, extremely manoeuvrable, easy to fold, and comfortable for a tall child (and a tall parent). It has served me well on cobblestone streets, forest trails, beaches and everything in between. The newest model GT3 has just been released.
r/toddlers • Best Stroller for tall 2 year old for Europe/ cobblestone ->Are two single strollers an option? I regret not getting two single strollers - it seems much more compact than any double “compact” stroller out there. We have the donkey which is a nightmare to transport and the city jogger gt for travel/car use but I still kind of hate it and am considering getting two single compact strollers.. but I already have 2 double strollers and I just feel like this is first world problems 🙃
r/parentsofmultiples • Best travel stroller for twins? ->GT city mini! Got mine used for $90 with snack tray & it was perfect for Disney. My son was almost 2 but he’s 38lb so he’s huge!
r/toddlers • Travel stroller!! ->Totally agree. City mini or GT but the GT lasts longer (higher weight limit). After a few trips renting, I bought the GT on Facebook market because it had all the features I wanted. One handed fold is way more necessary than you realize!
r/WaltDisneyWorld • Single stroller recommendations if you were to do it again? ->Not sure in this is in the thread already but a used City mini GT. You can get them for like 50$ used, they'll have better handling than any travel stroller, and they very sturdy. This way if it does break in baggage handling it won't matter because it cheap to replace. It would probably work on a well traveled trail but probably not necessarily something less traveled. You would need a jogging stroller for true hiking and they not really travel friendly. If you want a pure compact in the overhead bin travel stroller I recommend the mountain buggy nano! Its in your price range and really well built.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Travel stroller [on] ->I have 2 strollers, one is a jogger for the farm and the other is a travel one that goes everywhere with us. I do own 2 others but they're at my mom's and they were free. People basically just gave us strollers. I absolutely love the City GT Mini we have (I think that's the name), it's the best, I got it for $80 on marketplace. It fits my car and is very easy to use on the go.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Do we really need multiple strollers ? [qc] ->It’s my time to shine. I have spent an enormous amount of time researching strollers. I walk a lot with my baby, and we are out and about everyday. I have bought and sold several, and my final conclusion is: there is no such thing as the perfect stroller. There isn’t one stroller that does everything. What has worked for us is having one workhorse of a stroller for around the neighbourhood, and a lighter one for keeping in the car. Here are my recommendations: *Baby Jogger City Mini GT or GT2* This stroller is almost perfect for every situation. We were given a used GT and I love it so much. I bought a bassinet for it second hand, and bought the car seat adapter for our car seat. I took all of the fabric off of it so it was the the frame and it was so easy to transport in the car. It has big rubber wheels, so it’s great on gravel. There is one caveat: it does not do parent facing. My guy has outgrown the bassinet/car seat but is not quite ready for world facing. So the City Mini GT is now waiting for him to get a bit bigger. I can’t wait to use it again. If it had a reversible seat it would be the perfect stroller for every situation. *Uppababy Cruz V2* I bought a second hand one from marketplace to bridge the gap until he is world facing in the city mini. It’s a solid stroller, and easy to get in and out of the car. I don’t think it’s worth the price new, especially after using the City Mini. It doesn’t handle as well and the tires aren’t as beefy. I don’t love it on gravel, but it’s great for shopping and strolling around town. I also bought a second hand three-wheel Peg Pérego Book Scout to use as our neighbourhood workhorse until he’s ready for the City Mini again. It is a BEAST of a stroller and I love love love it EXCEPT the fold is huge and it’s heavy. So it stays at home. It handles like a dream and the tires are huge, plus it has a reversible seat. It’s at least 10 years old and I’m the third owner, so I can vouch for the quality of Peg Pérego products. Conclusions: Three-wheel strollers handle extremely well. I prefer them to four-wheel strollers. If you can find a three-wheel stroller with a reversible seat, that is your best option. There aren’t many out there. Strollers with reversible seats and beefy tires are bulky and heavy, so they are better for keeping at home. The City Mini is absolutely incredible and would be my choice except for the months in between the bassinet and world facing readiness.
