We went in December for 3 days with our almost 4 year old and 9 month old and took our Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 Double, it’s pretty big and didn’t have any issues! My 3 year old walked a lot, which was fine, but it was really nice when she wanted to ride. We only had to keep track of one stroller and it had a ton of storage! We’re going to Disney World in May and we’ll take it again!
r/DisneyPlanning • Stroller dilemma ->Highly recommend renting a double city mini. We've done it multiple times in the past. Folds up easily and not a big footprint. Plenty of storage room under and they always provide a rain cover. Not sure why you aren't, but a stroller nap is bound to happen at those ages. Let them nap and enjoy the parks. One of our fondest memories is when our four year old fell asleep and our 18 month old chilled in the stroller while we got to enjoy the festival eats in epcot! Either way, have a great time!
r/DisneyPlanning • Stroller dilemma ->We bought a caddy type stroller (babytrend snap & go) when our twins were first born. Really convenient and easy to take around. I waited until black friday to SPLURGEEEEE on not 1 but 2 babyjoggers 😅. Theyre 30% on black friday plus either amazon (15% off) or target (15% + 5% if using red card) completion discount. Getting 2 was only a bit more than getting 1 when not on sale. It worked in our favor bc they were born only a few months away from black friday. Ok we love both the babyjogger double strollers so I imagine the single versions would be amazing as well. The mini gt2 is so smooth and easy to take them shopping and around the city in. Also got the summit x3 because that is an actual jogging stroller (mini gt2 is not). I get such a good workout in with that one. Both worth the purchase and the wait. We still use the caddy as well for more tight places like the doctors office…will be using that one for as long as they fit in their infant carseat.
r/NewParents • Strollers - what did you wish you knew before you bought? ->Baby jogger is owned by Graco but is their luxury line. I LOVE my Baby jogger car seat and stroller. I even got the same brand double stroller for my next!
r/beyondthebump • Stroller Recommendation? ->I did the joovy twin with the car seat adapters and then at like 6 months old I just moved on to my baby jogger double stroller (which is the best thing ever). Honestly I didn’t go out with them much as babies other than doctors appointments and errands I generally had a second person with me until they could sit in a carriage.
r/parentsofmultiples • Best stroller for twins, specifically ones that you can click infant car seats into? ->I love my city mini gt2. Two kids and that thing is still trucking. Plus the shock absorber on that bad boy!
r/daddit • Wife is 15 weeks - went down a stroller rabbit hole… ->First time mom with a Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 + Graco car seat before our baby graduated to the bucket seat. It's been great so far. Very light and relatively compact, which is important for us since we live in the city and don't have a car, so we're on and off public transit a lot. Handled the snow and ice well when we had our winter newborn. Also really love that the seat folds completely flat. Our little guy is a great stroller napper and it's like we have a little mobile hotel room for him when we're out and about
r/NewParents • Strollers ->I’ve only had the GT and GT2 and no, I haven’t noticed that :/
r/toddlers • Best Stroller for tall 2 year old for Europe/ cobblestone ->I ended up with the Baby Jogger City Mini GT2. It’s PERFECT! Yes it is heavy, so that may be a huge con for many… but my 41” 3 year old fits in it comfortably (her head is 2 inches from the canopy which I pop out a little to give her room, and they both always fall asleep, and it’s a dream to push. It’s very padded and comfy, we just love it. The ventilation is my favorite aspect. We are very happy with it and I got it for an amazing price on Albee ($519)
r/2under2 • Valco Duo Trend vs Nuna Trvl Double ->I love the baby jogger city mini gt2. It has a car seat you can pair with it to make it a travel system or it can be used just as a stroller. If you think there’s a chance of baby #2 soon after or want something modular I currently use a baby jogger city select and absolutely love it. Both strollers have a hand brake instead of a foot brake (so no fumbling for the brakes anymore), good shock absorption, good recline (and options so you don’t have to pick between upright or fully down), and large canopies. The city mini is one easy handle to fold and one solid piece. The city select is a frame and then you pick if you want the seat to face you, face front, or if you want to put a car seat on instead. Both have adjustable handlebars. I’m 5’2 and my husband is just under 6’ and the handlebar is comfortable for both of us.
