I would bring a cosco scenera next for carseat because its cheap and lightweight and a travel stroller that folds small (i reccomend city tour 2 because it’s inexpensive and we love it, but babyzen yoyo, uppababy minu or bugaboo butterfly are all also highly reccomended). Buy travel stroller secondhand to save money. You cannot use your doona as a stroller in europe. Like absolutely not. At that point its an incredibly heavy carseat, i wouldnt want to lug that accross the globe. Your main stroller is also so bulky and heavy.
Not_a_Muggle9_3-4 1.0We have the Baby Jogger City Tour 2 Ultra compact and love it. We took it on a trip when little dude was 6 months old and he slept in it no problem. He's just over 2 now and he can still sleep in it. We were at the mall this weekend and he slept almost an hour while we ate and shopped. It says it fits in the overhead but we just gate check it so we don't have so many carry ons. Only complaint is the tiny storage underneath but I've now bought a cute Disney attachment for when we go to Disney in the new year.

verminqueeen 1.0I have the city jogger tour 2. I'm also an cruz user but when my 1st was about 20 mo we went on an international trip to France and got the city jogger tour 2 and it was a great fit. Sturdy enough for lots of walking miles but folded with one hand while you held a child with the other. I used it for nearly 2 years after that as our everyday stroller. Great for bus/subway/throw in the car. Im looking forward to busting it back out for baby 2 this spring.
Chickadee486 0.7I was given a used Baby Jogger City Tour and it's really great; It totally saved us on a trip to visit family 5 hours away, and was easy to pack because of the size. This one is in the travel stroller category (folds like a suitcase size, versus an umbrella stroller with 2 handles that folds long and narrow). I'm really happy with it, and I'm happy to have it over the classic umbrella stroller.

Emanemanem 0.7Oh man, I remember the stroller decision all too well. My advice, narrow down to the few you’d like the most and then buy used. Don’t waste your money buying new. You have more time than you need to set up Facebook marketplace alerts and wait for a good deal to come up. You’ll want to buy the car seat new, but you can get adapters to match to a different brand if needed. Also, spending less money takes the pressure off buying a stroller you’ll use forever, and (if you have the space) allows you to buy different strollers for different purposes. At first we bought a Maxi Cosi stroller/car seat package (new but deep discount), but the stroller kind of sucked. So we kept the car seat and sold the basically new stroller and found a good deal on a second (or third?) hand UppaBaby, which we liked because it had a really nice bassinet attachment. Bassinet was great for the first few months, but ultimately the stroller was bulkier than we wanted. When our daughter was able to sit up on her own, we switched to a much more compact Baby Jogger (not to be confused with a jogging stroller) that became our “travel stroller” (bought new in box but for a steep discount on Facebook Marketplace). Shortly after we lucked into a very worn looking but super sturdy Bob Jogging stroller as a hand-me-down from a friend. Our daughter is almost 3 and we still have these two to this day and have been using them over 2 years. The Bob sits in our garage and we take it on walks around the neighborhood. The Baby Jogger stays in our car, and we use that when we drive somewhere or travel out of town. We live in a pretty walkable area so we actually use the Bob more often, but the Baby Jogger is surprisingly durable and has taken a lot of abuse, getting a lot of get checks and a lot miles walking around various cities we’ve travelled to.

I made sure I packed light for my carry-on because my baby is on the heavier side and I’m a petite person. Stroller recommendation: Baby Jogger City Tour. Fits in the overhead bin and about 14lbs. I gate checked the stroller. mlejb4 0.7I love our Vista V2 which I've had since 2022. We're having another baby soon but not sure if we'll bother getting it set up as a double as my older one is pretty happy to walk. We might Just opt for a skateboard or seat attachment. I don't find the pram itself too heavy but I usually disassemble it before lifting into the car. I would say that if you do use public transport regularly or for travel you would probably want to pick up a travel pram too. We use the baby jogger City tour for that. The baby jogger isn't a bad little pram (very happy with it for occasional use) but it doesn't hold a candle to the Vista
