"I can close it one-handed while still holding my toddler (and a diaper bag, of course). I don’t need to put him down on gross airport floors anymore"
"It’s my daily pram and I’ve taken it on 5 overseas trips plus many miles in the city and trains/overground."
"I live in a walk up and use as my daily stroller."

"and it fits as cabin luggage"
"Also fits comfortably in the overhead compartment."
"It’s super light, fits in overhead bin, and very sturdy. ... It’s survived about 20+ plane rides, we traveled a ton with it."

"true one-handed collapse and push ... one-handed close/open/push is better than both"
"I have a joolz aer but the driver for buying it was that we live up a flight of stairs so I need to fold with one hand and carry with baby"

"I feel like it reclines enough, my mate commented today he looks like he’s reclined way back and chilled out. ... He fell asleep in it on the golf course last week so no issues there."
"Personally we got the Joolz Aer+ international version as it has a flat recline. ... Used it for 3 months in Europe and was fantastic!"
"Got the European version for the lay flat options and we used it from birth, and it's great for naps on the go."

"What both the bugaboo and the Joolz is NOT good for is the rough terrain of Central Park. ... We tried it and it was terrible. ... A lot of the Central Park winding paths have bumpy roads because of the large tree roots so it was such a pain to maneuver."
"because the strroller is so light, it puts more effort on you to keep it steady and that got tiring QUICKLY and i usually do that walk with no problem. ... becaues at every driveway on the sidewalk it wants to roll towards the street."
"We go on walks in forests and on non stable ground, plus it snows where I live and the wheels wouldn’t be able to handle it."

"The aer doesn’t even hold my daily diaper bag. ... The basket is so small."
"I walk to the grocery store with my babe often and the basket on it is way too small."
"not great...if regular use involves needing to cart your groceries home in the basket"

"Tried the Aus version in store and the half recline was just not great. ... I got the Aus version first too then hated the recline so had to make the switch."
"I got the Aus one because I was impatient but I sort of regret it. ... I got the Aus version first too then hated the recline so had to make the switch."
"I found the aer+, where you have to unzip the seat all the way around the back, then pull on straps tucked into the back of pram to tighten/loosen, really awkward in store tests (though I’m sure you’d get used to it)."

"Have the joolz aer+ with no accessories. How annoying that everything is extra. ... In Australia the accessory prices are daylight robbery."
"It also rubbed me the wrong way that you have to buy the footrest separately for the joolz aer+."
"you have to buy expensive extras that should come with it (footrest, bumper bar)"

"We had the Joolz Aer Plus but returned it because I was hitting my feet on the axle in between the rear wheels (I am tall) ... it doesn’t have an axle between the rear tires so if you push the stroller close to you and have long legs, you won’t hit it (the main issue that was a dealbreaker for me on the Joolz)."
"most people much prefer the travel stroller except for my 6’3” husband (travel strollers don’t have adjustable handlebars)"
"The only downside is that it’s on the smaller side for us (we’re both quite tall)"
I also have the Joolz Aer Plus and just tried out the minu v3. I had a hard time opening the minu V3. It is definitely not as smooth as the joolz. I don’t know if I got a defective one or if that’s the way it is on all. Is anyone having trouble with squeeza and fold/ unfold on minu v3? I absolutely love the one-handed fold, and the light weight of the Joolz. I hate the useless recline and the tiny under basket. The minu has a huge and capable basket and a great recline. It’s a tough choice, but it is 3 pounds heavier also
r/Buyingforbaby • Our Minu V3 review vs Aer + ->We are in the same situation as you, city living, no car, no option to store the stroller at the ground level of our walk up. We bought a Joolz Aer + with a bassinet attachment- baby’s not quite here yet so I don’t have a full review. But I am happy to say it feels really solid and not like just a travel stroller, especially with the bassinet attachment. It’s a lot smaller than my friends bugaboo (because of course it is) so I dont know if we will use the bassinet attachment for as long. But it folds great, with or without the bassinet, and the bassinet is easy to take on and off, which is what we wanted for our 2nd floor walk up (3rd floor european) apartment. And I cannot imagine buying a heavier stroller than this - it’s supposed to be one of the lightest but still damn! 2 things I might see as negatives with use- 1. The suspension isn’t as good as a full size of course. I am hoping it is good enough, but we live in a town with a fair amount of cobblestones and even some “stroller approved hikes” so I will definitely be putting it to the test! 2. I wish an engineer would make magic and find a way to make a lightweight travel stroller with the storage capacity of a full size- since we also don’t have a car I know I will be filling the storage underneath to absolute max capacity and I wish it was bigger, but I know it’s not possible and actually the Joolz aer has been praised for having more room than other compacts. The way I reassured myself to pull the trigger on this one was to start with the smallest stroller that could work and get it on sale/ used. That way, if it didn’t work out as an every day stroller, we had a good stroller for flights (all family lives abroad) and we could feel better about keeping this one for travel, store it away (like I said, it folds great) and then invest in something more robust for every day if we really needed it. Good luck with your search!
r/BabyBumps • Lightweight strollers useable from birth without a car seat? ->Seconding this! It’s so smooth over bumps and easy to maneuver.
r/Buyingforbaby • Compact stroller that rides well ->Ditto! It’s great.
r/Buyingforbaby • Best reclining travel stroller? ->Hi there. If you are worried about travel and wanting your stroller to fit in the overhead on the plane, then do NOT get the Butterfly. It is slightly too big to fit. I cannot speak for the Redsbaby Skip as I have not used it. I have the Redsbaby Jive though and I am 100% happy with the quality. For travelling we were gifted the Joolz Aer+ by my inlaws. I absolutely love it. It is light and practical and very easy to carry around. Also fits comfortably in the overhead compartment.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Help - Bugaboo Butterfly, Joolz Aer+ or Redsbaby Skip 3? ->I have the Aer+. There’s a bassinet attachment that you can purchase for a newborn- my baby used it and it seemed quite comfortable for her! I love that it’s a one handed fold too- very helpful when I’m managing things by myself day to day. As for the recline, does your baby only sleep in full recline mode? My baby actually sleeps better in the Aer+ than my full sized Uppababy Cruz 😅 I’ve since discovered she doesn’t like sleeping flat on her back when out and about
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram - joolz aer or redsbaby skip 3? ->i have the joolz aer+. bought it for a holiday abroad and ended up selling my other prams (nuna mixx and cosatto giggle) and keeping the aer+ for my daily. i bought it when my baby was just turned 1, she's 3 next month and it's still in like-new condition. it's so sturdy and good quality, you can tell it's well made. i cant recommend it enough. the accessories are fab, it's lightweight and compact, easy to fold, easy to push, the extendable hood is a good size. absolutely 0 complaints from me! my friend has the bugaboo butterfly and the leather is scuffed from her walking through doorframes etc and the seat fabric has worn away - she's only had hers a year and has spoken with bugaboo who essentially said it's normal / common so i would avoid tbh
r/UKParenting • Travel Stroller - Best Options / Real World Experiences? ->joolz aer+ ticks all of your boxes (but has a completely flat recline, therefore safe for sleep) x
r/UKParenting • The goldilocks travel stroller - does it exist?? ->I was at Baby Bunting recently and the Bugaboo Butterfly was on a raised shelf and did not have time to take it down and test it. I have used the Yoyo and though it feels strong, my partner and I could never get it to collapse effortlessly without some issue. The Joolz Aer+ test was fantastic. My partner struggled on first go to collapse as she was being too gentle, but on subsequent attempts was a natural and the weight and stretchy strap made it a breeze to carry. We were looking for a primary full size pram with parent facing and larger wheel features and ended up going with something else however out of all the travel prams this was the easiest and simplest to use and felt quite sturdy. Side note, the Bugaboo Butterfly has a 2+2 year warranty whereas the Joolz Aer+ has 10 years transferrable. I do not think you can go wrong with either so long as they are accepted as carry on. You may be able to get the Aer+ with bonus bumper bar for as low as $604 by clicking on Baby Bunting's product page price match + -5% link and using the current price at Banana Baby. I have used their service in the past and usually their response time is less than 24hrs.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram recommendations? ->Another vote for Joolz Aer+! We bought it for an international trip (went in cabin overhead), but have been reaching for it over our usual big pram since we got back too. Fantastic fold, zippy and lightweight, shade canopy is about the biggest I’ve seen on compact prams, and the basket is way more functional than the yoyo without two rods running straight through the middle.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram that’s an excellent all-round everyday pram ->Second this - love my Joolz aer+. Only con is the extra attachments you can buy are expensive (footrest, belly bar, rain cover, bassinet attachment). It's also only 6+ months Can confirm Australian one does not lay flat.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram that’s an excellent all-round everyday pram ->Where did you buy the International one? I got the Aus one because I was impatient but I sort of regret it. Love everything else about this pram.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Best carry on travel pram ->Ugh, we went to the UK just a couple months after I bought ours. I should have just waited.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Best carry on travel pram ->Joolz aer+ for its one handed fold. It doesn’t recline flat but the canopy is larger than most other travel prams. Bought new when it was discounted for less than I was seeing second hand yoyos on marketplace.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Best Travel Pram ->I'm a huge fan of our Joolz Aer + (one hand fold!) but I ended up buying new because there was hardly any secondhand stock in my area.
