"I LOVE how I can close it with one hand, lift it into the trunk, all while holding my toddler as an ex. ... The selling point for me on the trvl double was that close. It is so incredibly handy with the two of them when I’m solo."

"We’ve traveled hard with it internationally and domestically, and live in an urban area with bumpy sidewalks and a brutal Midwest winter. Zero damage after 2 years of vigorous use."
"We’ve abused ours across 5 countries in 4 months and it doesn’t have a scratch on it. The quality is great."
"is really quite heavy duty so you can treat it as your daily as well as your travel stroller ... it holds up with daily use! ... still going strong as a daily with kid #2"

"you can gate check it and it’s a very very airport friendly stroller ... I have flown solo parenting with a baby at 9 weeks and at 7 months and it was fantastic, easy to wrangle through TSA and it’s sturdy enough for gate checking ... We’ve done about 10 flights with it in 2 years and zero damage"
"the one button collapse can be done one handed and it can be carried one handed"

"a very low back, which became uncomfortable as my child got bigger ... Grew out of it before even turning one"

"I tried the Nuna TRVL in store and its a bit sturdier than the Joolz, but I don't believe its small enough to be compliant with airplane overheard compartment so you'd need to check it, so I feel like that defeats the whole purpose"
"I think if you don’t need it to fit in an overhead bin, the TRVL is really nice and the self-fold is cool. ... I was set on something fitting in the overhead because I’ve had a couple friends experience their gate-checked stroller being lost or damaged by the airline."
"too big to take into the cabin"

"the basket underneath was completely inaccessible from the back. I thought there would at least be some give in the back but there wasn’t lol. Like 2 inches of space to get in the back."
"The Nuna unfortunately doesn’t have a large basket."
"the ONLY downside to it imo is the storage bin under the seat is quite small"
The Nuna trvl double it’s a quick fold light travel stroller. Would be good on like paved surfaces and stores. Not as great for playgrounds/parks etc though
r/parentsofmultiples • Lightweight double stroller for grandma? ->Hey! Just wondering what you mean by the valco stroller tipping over? We had the nuna trvl double and it also tipped forward and we returned it cause it was not safe at all! Was considering valco trend duo, but you said it also tips? Does it tip forward? Did you have rhe upgraded wheels? Considering bombi twin also with the upgraded wheels to prevent tipping
r/parentsofmultiples • Side by side stroller ->Omg this happened to me also! I think I also read a comment on tiktok that it happened to them! What is Nuna doing? They just told you to go away?! Will they return the stroller? It is so expensive so we cant just throw it away either and we dont feel safe using it!
r/2under2 • Valco Duo Trend vs Nuna Trvl Double ->I went to a stroller store yesterday to check out the jet double, uppababy minu duo, Nuna trvl dbl, and bugaboo donkey. I ended up liking the Nuna the best by far and went with that! The silver cross jet double was my second favorite but quality just wasn’t good/ even close to the Nuna. I wanted to love the uppababy but the push was by far the worst and it felt a little too small imo. Bugaboo took way too long to fold down as it’s not a true travel stroller and the seats have to be removed before collapsing. Just sharing in case this helps anyone!
r/Buyingforbaby • Uppababy minu duo or silver cross jet double for toddler and baby?? ->Listen, it tipped forward on multiple occasions. I’ve worked w Nuna to get my money back and filed incident report. It’s happened to many others that I’ve connected with through Reddit. I would go with the Zoe. Truly my kids would have been hurt if I didn’t strap them in well
r/2under2 • Side by side double stroller recommendations ->It’s just not worth it.
r/2under2 • Side by side double stroller recommendations ->I ended up buying the Nuna double yesterday too!! I had a chance to push it somewhere and it was literally miles ahead of the silver cross jet. Never got to try the uppababy but I’m so glad you said it wasn’t as nice so now I won’t have regrets lmao people who say silver cross was better have to be paid actors because it wasn’t even close to being as nice imo lol
r/Buyingforbaby • Uppababy minu duo or silver cross jet double for toddler and baby?? ->I just bought the nuna travel double. Have a 7 month old and 2.5 month ok. Do you still love it? I realize this is an older post so just checking in because this is a big purchase for me- had the mockingbird but HATED it and wanted to try a side by side
r/2under2 • Valco Duo Trend vs Nuna Trvl Double ->Just got mine in the mail and am very impressed but have noticed if you wiggle it side to side it wobbles a bit- does yours?
r/2under2 • Valco Duo Trend vs Nuna Trvl Double ->I have a Nuna Trvl DUBL and use it daily for pickup/drop off for my 3.5yo and 1.5yo. It's great that it's lightweight and incredible easy fold. People stop me all the time when they watch me take it in/out of my trunk. It is wide and can be difficult to get through doors. I've taken it grocery shopping and does great with the GIANT under carriage. That said, I have wild boys and let's be honest a 3.5yo isn't getting strapped in. Any bump or crack can cause the stroller to very harshly tip forward and any climbing can cause it to fall over backwards. The single bar is a bit of a hassle. It's tough saying this after spending $850 on it.. it feels flimsy 🫠I'm looking at other double strollers because it just isn't practical with two very active boys that also love their stroller.
r/2under2 • Valco Duo Trend vs Nuna Trvl Double ->I have the Nuna Trvl DUBL - I got it the second it came out for my 3yo and 1 yo and use it daily for pickup/drop off. It's lightweight and the one handed fold is truly incredible. The under carriage is GIANT. I've taken it grocery shopping and can shove everything and more underneath it. That said.. the lack of accessories is hard and ay 30.5" it is pretty wide and a tight squeeze through doors. My biggest thing is it will tip over forward going over any bump, and it falls backwards often just from my kids climbing into it. It looks and feels a little flimsy and the one handle bar is actually a hassle. Both kids can take it off easily. My local kids store just got the Uppababy Minu Duo and I'm fairly certain I'm going to get that instead. It's smaller, 2lbs heavier and the basket is honestly not great. The bar on the middle makes it so a stuffed diaper bag can't easily go in. The fold/unfold is pretty compatible to other Uppababy strollers (we have the Vista V2 and Minu V2). That said, it's STURDY. My older kiddo was hanging from the handle bar a little and it didn't tip over. The slimmer width made it so I can easily go through doors and you can buy accessories. My TLDR: if you have 2 calm kids or an infant and toddler, Nuna Trvl DUBL is amazing!! If you have wild kids or go over not perfectly smooth sidewalks, it's not great.
r/2under2 • Nuna Dubl vs Uppababy Minu Duo ->I did! I love it. It was absolutely the right decision for me. I went to the store to test the in lines and they were just all so bulky and heavy. I had a nuna mixx for my single stroller, which is so nice, BUT it’s heavy and a pain to take in and out of the car. I wanted something lighter. I wound up buying the nuna trvl and I LOVE how I can close it with one hand, lift it into the trunk, all while holding my toddler as an ex. It has been extremely helpful for me when I am solo with both. My toddler also loves that she sits next to baby and I loved that one wouldn’t be behind the other kicking later down the road. The one down side imo is it takes up a lot of space on sidewalks. In my neighborhood the whole sidewalk lol Fwiw I didn’t buy my stroller until after baby was born. I wasn’t sure I needed one and my first HATED the stroller until she was one. For the longest time I felt like my stroller was a waste and was happy it was a gift lol. I learned once the second was here I needed the double asap because I’m on the go so much and because my baby is honestly pretty easy about it (could be perspective, my first was terribly colicky so a baby who sleeps is a dream for me). Last comment but I’ve heard anecdotally that a side by side will last longer. I know that’ll depend on each child’s size and temperament and height but just throwing it out there too. I also like that both will be able to seat themselves in the stroller opposed to me always lifting one for the higher seat of the inline
r/2under2 • Valco Duo Trend vs Nuna Trvl Double ->Yes I absolutely love mine! My girls are 6m and not quite 2.5. I use it almost everyday. It was a big purchase for me also and I have not once regretted it.
r/2under2 • Valco Duo Trend vs Nuna Trvl Double ->Wobbly? No not at all. It hasn’t tipped but it did struggle over an aggressive tree root that invaded a sidewalk by my house. My Nuna mixx in the past did not. They are definitely different strollers. If someone wasn’t paying attention I could see that root and similar things being an issue with the trvl double.
r/2under2 • Valco Duo Trend vs Nuna Trvl Double ->Oooh you might not. They are quite different imo. The mixx is so study and glides reeeeally well. For me it was just too cumbersome esp with two children. Such a pain to take out of my car. The selling point for me on the trvl double was that close. It is so incredibly handy with the two of them when I’m solo. And light. And now that number two is older…it’s soooo cute to see them sit side by side and I am VERY happy I got a side by side instead of a tandem. But strollers are a very personal choice because our lifestyles are all so different. Can you go to a store and push one around? I feel like Nordstrom would have one by now
r/2under2 • Valco Duo Trend vs Nuna Trvl Double ->I get that! I could never use a wagon for grocery shopping! My children are young enough that they don’t even notice seat size difference. Older sits in the smaller seat because sometimes I use the car seat in there if younger is sleeping. My older LOVES having her baby sis next to her. And now that little is getting bigger she sits there and watches big sis. It’s soooo cute. But. Older did try to wake younger up in the beginning lol Edit to add - there is no perfect stroller. I understand your struggle lol
r/2under2 • Valco Duo Trend vs Nuna Trvl Double ->we LOVE ours. had the Nuna TRVL double stroller and it didnt handle bumps well at all. It actually tipped forward with our LOs in it. MINU double handles so much smoother and is MUCH safer over bumps. We are very happy we pitched before the price increase
