I've always said I'd never get a va panel but seeing the reviews for the AOC CU34G2XPD I decided to chance it and I'm honestly blown away by how good it is for the price. £270
i went through a similar search and didn't have much luck finding a 34" ultrawide IPS. i landed on the AOC CU34G2XP which meets all your requirements except technically gsync - it has freesync premium but from what [i've read](https://pcmonitors.info/aoc/aoc-cu34g2xp-bk-180hz-va-ultrawide/#:~:text=Adaptive%2DSync%20is%20supported%2C%20allowing,180Hz%20VRR%20range%20plus%20LFC) it's still gsync compatible. worth a look. paid 379.99 at best buy
for this pirice range i don't think there are better option, anyway id going for the aoc, for fast va e 180hz and i does not have the problems of the Samsung one
Finally ready to ascend from my trusty AOC CU34G2X/BK 34" to what I believe is the ultrawide sweet spot - that gorgeous 45" 5K2K OLED! The GX9's 125 PPI, insane 1300 nit brightness, and 330Hz would be a night-and-day upgrade from my current setup. Been lurking here some time and seen some great reviews for it.
if you live near a microcenter, i would wait and see if they have any refurbished ultrawides. the one by me in fairfax had like 9 refurbished AOC CU34G2s in stock and i got one for 150 bucks when they still msrp for over twice that amount new. you'll have a month to see if you notice the smearing and can return it, and its not a big investment otherwise, great option to just try one out imo. i thought id notice it more but haven't noticed it at all. have been more than happy with it
AOC G2 is an outdated model. I have it, and it's fine. I'd go for the AOC G4.
Own similar AOC g34g2. My best buy in few years. After few months cach myself mind "i want 32x9 beast" 🤣
34". All the way. We have had AOC x 2 with zero issues, great monitor. My lad is currently on an LG 34" which seems to be fine, little bit of bleed. My daughter is also on a 34" Viewsonic, i'm on a 49" uw. My two main gaming buds are also 34". Both with 3060s. For gaming, gotta be 34" curved, it's a beautiful thing. Imo, i would stay away from nzxt myself.
Having the same usage as you, i have a AOC 34" Ultra wide, and i'm thinking to go for a 32" 4K specially because of the height resolution.
