Hello u/TazVador10 , I am considering replacing my Dell U3421WE monitor with this one. I currently use a Macbook Pro M1 Max for work, and my Dell monitor has been working perfectly and I really enjoy using it. However, I also like to play some first-person shooter games when I have free time. Unfortunately, the Dell monitor is not suitable for gaming due to its low refresh rate of 60. I have a personal PC with a 4080 graphics card that is capable of 4k gaming without any issues, so I am searching for a monitor that can handle both gaming and productivity tasks. How do you feel about the monitor after using it for some time?

Eu uso um Dell U3421WE UltraSharp Curved (3440 x 1440). Comprei na época da pandemia. Deve existir modelo melhor hoje, mas o tamanho acho excelente. Eu gosto bastante.

r/flightsimUpgraded from a 27 to a 34 inch ultrawide. Definitely a leap forward.

Once you 34-inch, you'll never go bla-----oops--back. On an Ultrasharp 34", 5060Ti 16G, 5700X, 1440p msfs

34" curved. Go get it. In my area, a Dell Curved $420 (non-OLED)

r/MonitorsWhy are good "Work” monitors so difficult to find? Need a 34” Ultrawide for Mac

Dell ultrasharp 34” fits this. Has a mac specific variant i think. Relatively pricy though at least in CDN

r/pcmasterraceGaming in 16:9 or 21:9, what’s your thoughts ?

I recently got a 34" Curved Dell Ultrasharp. I was a little bit worried that I would prefer my dual 27" setup, but I really love it as a solo monitor. I mostly play Path of Exile at this stage of my life with the occasional CS2 or single-player game like Cyberpunk or Oblivion. All my games have supported the 21:9 ratio just fine, but of course not every game does. I also do lots of web browsing while watching YouTube or sports. The curved 34" is perfect for everyday usage. My only compliant is the alt-tab I need to do during some games with a solo monitor. I might end up putting a 27" above the 34" as a secondary at some point, but I don't think I could go to a smaller primary monitor in the future. Maybe upgrade to a 42" LG C# years down the road, but the 3440x1440 is so incredibly usable.

I recently bought a used 34” Ultrawide Dell from Marketplace. I love the real estate I get. However, Mac Bar is so small and you cannot make it bigger… that’s my sole complaint since I use it for work purpose.

I'm concerned this would be TOO big. What's your desk setup like and use case? I'm currently in monitor decision paralysis mode myself. I've been using a Dell 34" ultrawide for years that I loved. I decided to finally treat myself to a new, bigger monitor and found a smoking deal on a 49" G9. I hated it at first. It felt too big and I couldn't figure out a solution for blurry text on my mac, so I immediately ordered a Dell 40" 5K2K. Over the next few days while waiting for the Dell to be delivered, I got used to the 49" and was starting to like it. The Dell showed last night and while I am in love with the crisp display, it now feels small and tbh, I prefer the additional width over height. I'm going to give it a few days to see how I like it, but I'm considering trying something else or going back to the 49" and dealing with the blurry text.

I went from a 34 inch 3440x1440 ultrawide from dell to a 32 inch LG glossy 4k oled and I wouldnt go back. Ultrawide is good for sim games and productivity but kinda shitty in other games, at least for me. The standard aspect ratio of 16x9 or 10 is perfect

r/OLED_Gaming4k 244hz OLED 21:9 is next level gaming. I may never go back from curved widescreen.

Tbh I had the same dilemma. I had a dell 34inch 3440x1440 monitor( not oled though) , I thought 16:9 was a thing of the past for me but I was dead wrong. The moment I fired up my 321urx I just fell in love with it.

I love my G9 57 but its a lot of display. I have MS Fancy Tiles which lets me snap my windows to whatever size I want and I have it set to give me 5120x2160 in the center and then on both side I have 1280x2160 which is plenty of space for my music program, or discord or whatever its nice. I came from 3 displays. Two 23" 1080p displays and in the middle a dell 34" ultrawide. I liked that but with my G9 57 I dont miss having 3 displays at all there is just so much room on this one its more than I know what to do with sometimes. Mind you, I've had 3x displays for over 10 years. I tried going down to 2 but that didnt work out I had to get my three again. I dont miss it now though. I think if I had only 5120x2160 i'd want two more displays still.
