AORUS CO49DQ Straight up monitor. No bullshit launch page or anything. Just works and stays cool.

I wish they made a 1000R oled, but surprisingly there's not one. Honestly, for sim racing, without seeing it in person, I'd go with the Gigabyte. I doubt you'll see the difference between 144Hz and 240Hz, and both those monitors have the same peak HDR brightness. Honestly, I'd spend that some of that saved 700 bucks on an extension rod do you can put that new fancy monitor in between the base and the wheel. If you have that option, It's a super cheap way to make your FOV higher.

Don't have, went with Gigabyte Aorus 49" instead for native 3 year warranty. Absolutely love it! Doing research when I first bought it about a year ago, a lot of people were saying the SS Odyssey would die, or something would go wrong, like red lines down the center of the screen or something similar basically immediately after their 1 year warranty expired and they'd be s.o.l, so make sure you get a good extended warranty just in case. Only thing I genuinely feel I'm missing out on between the two, is the Odyssey supports 120hz Picture by Picture natively, while the Gigabyte only supports 60hz PBP. Regardless, enjoy your Ultrawide! It's definitely an experience. Some must have apps are FancyZones (lets you set custom zones on the monitor to snap applications into), TranslucentTB (makes your taskbar translucent/invisible except for the icons), and the UltraWideo chrome extension (allows you to use ALL of your 49" monitor to watch videos full screen, instead of just the center of the screen. If you have flickering, (trust me, you'll know if you do.) download CRU -- Custom Resolution Utility, and search up a video of how to stop OLED flicker CRU and that'll get you situated.
