I am happy with my Philips Evnia 49M2C8900L
Hi! Huge thank you for all the answers you provide! Super close in pushing the purchase button now :) I did stumble on a variation to the screen but with an addition “AM” at the end. (PHILIPS Evnia 49M2C8900AM) This looks to be an Amazon exclusive variant which is pretty much the same screen but costs in Sweden 300$ less (920$ in total). What worried me is that one Reddit post and review from the same person on Amazon highlights: “Great monitor if the firmware would work. The monitor cannot be switched off after a period of use of more than 4 hours.” Either this is a special thing related to this persons monitor or it is closely related to what you write regarding the pixel refresh which pops up after 4 hours. My question to you all that have the screen: Do you recognize this issue or understand what problem he has had and how to mitigate it?
Very nice 👍 also have the evnia 49“ and iam very happy with it so far .
Yeah I had a BDM4065UC - 40" 4K (3840x2160) 60Hz for several years w/o any problems and this convinced me to buy a Philips again . Ambiglow is also a nice feature to have . 49“ is exactly what I looked for , mainly for work/productivity.
I got this one its awesome
I got use it to
I have the Philips Evnia 49 OLED and if you can get it, it might be pretty much ideal for you? Theres a USB-C KVM built into the monitor itself, and it uses the same panel as the Samsung G9 OLED. The USB C can charge, take display from the mac, and give it your Keyboard and mouse inputs at the same time, then you can either use the same cable, or HDMI/DP + USB with the HP, and then theres still a HDMI left over for the XBOX.
philips evnia 49’ 240Hz oled screen, I have it and it’s amazing
Its a dream coming true ! That OLED is really black wow ! Coming from a 1070 ti rig, to a light speed modern 5070 ti rig with a huge widescreen. Oblivion remastered looks amazing. Have a good day and take care of yourself.
Its 32:9 240hz, 49 inch. **Philips Evnia 49** [Gaming Monitor QD OLED-gamemonitor 49M2C8900/00 | Evnia](https://www.philips.be/c-p/49M2C8900_00/evnia-gaming-monitor-qd-oled-gamemonitor)
I have a Philips Evnia 32:9, it has really good speakers (as monitor speakers go)
I have the Phillips Evnia 49M2C8900. It is the perfect Office/Gaming ultrawide. Gsync, AMD Freesync Premium pro, 240hz, QD-Oled with ambilight. Has a lot of ports too: 49 inch 5120 x 1440, 240 Hz, reaction speed 0.03 ms 2 x HDMI 2.1 1 x DisplayPort 1.4 1 x USB-C (Displayport + Power Delivery 90w) USB 3.2 Gen1 5 Gbit/s, 1 x USB-B Upstream, 4 x USB-A Downstream (with 2 for fast charge-BC 1.2) HDCP 1.4 (HDMI/DisplayPort/USB-C), HDCP 2.2 (HDMI/DisplayPort/USB-C), HDCP 2.3 (HDMI/DisplayPort/USB-C) You can get it for 900-1000$
Exactly that's my problem. My Philips Evnia 49m2c8900 has the same QD-Oled Display (2 Gen.) as your MSI. I love the ambilight etc. but I hoped we could get a 4.Gen. this year. But it seems you're lucky with the 39 inch this year :)
The pixel refreshment. After 16 hours it starts automatically. You can't time it yourself. It happened already so many times during work or online tournaments. And after a year I started to see artefacts.
I have the 240hz Phillips Evnia too. QD-Oled 2.Gen. KVM switch. Ambiglow is just gorgeous. The refresh starts every 16 hours. I use it for work and gaming. No burn ins so far. And the many ports are a nice bonus. I am just waiting for Phillips to release a new 49 inch monitor.
Went with Philips and the speaker is quite impressive considering it’s a monitor
