"battery lasts me forever, I charge it once a week and I game every day."
"especially because of the battery life. ... The mouse I had right before this was the steelseries super light one, that was an every other day charge at minimum. Whereas this one is like once a week at most - and I work from home and game all night."
"Oh, and the battery lasts days even when exercising a lot (weeks without excercise)."

"I think its hands down the best all around option right now, especially once you hook it up to the water line and drain, i run it daily in our house and we got rid of our cleaning help because of it."
"I have an even thicker rug than this and my Curv has no issues ... It's the reason I bought mine because I have an even thicker rug than that and no robot could even climb onto it"
"I found that it was even able to get up caked on Kitty vomit if I simply sprayed those areas with cleaning vinegar beforehand. ... I was pleasantly surprised."

"when hardwired with their power kit the parking mode never misses a motion event."
"We have four roborock S7’s running in our 5,000 sqft office. ... Bought them since they first came out years ago. ... They run every day. ... Only last year did we replace the battery for all 4. ... Other than that, no issue at all, rock solid, very pleased that we also have them for our homes too."
"My Roborock S7 does about 2,000 sqft twice a week since 2021, and it's still going strong"

"I live in a 2700 square foot cookie-cutter tract house. First floor is laminate with an office that has carpet. Then there’s the stairs which leads to 5 carpeted bedrooms, two tile bathrooms, a laundry room, and a walk-in carpeted closet. I can get all of that done one charge."
"being cordless and effective for what I need. ... For some the tradeoff for cordless, no bags, good suction, etal means we vacuum more than we otherwise would. ... I never would have thought I'd defend a near $1,000 cordless vacuum but I got one as a gift and will never buy anything different now."
"One thing I really love is how it came with two batteries. ... Never have I ran out of a charge."

"Does fantastic with dog hair."
"it's designed so well, it's a joy to vacuum 2x daily (concrete floors/live at the beach with a long-haired GSD, I vacuum constantly)."
"it's a dream/works so well. ... I am shocked (kinda disgusted at times!) at how much it picks up."

"About a year and the right bud would last about 15 minutes on a full charge."
"I've had them for a few years and now the battery doesn't last for more than 40 mins, so looking for a different model."
"An almost new pair I wore in a mountain 100 was dead after the race. ... It was all stretched out and even had a hole in the side when it wasn't that crazy technical of terrain."

"I hate to hold pressing the power button all the time."
"I couldn’t get over having to press the button down the entire time vacuuming."
"Plus, the stick vacuums are a bit top heavy as well so it just felt super awkward to maneuver. ... it’s ridiculously uncomfortable."
4yo Dyson v11 absolute in Singapore. Makes vacuumming easier, great at vacuuming mattresses and great at vacuum-packing stuff. After service is top notch. Right before the warranty expired, the plug had issues and kept bricking the motor (apparently no one at the service centre knew and they actually replaced the entire motor and battery before they figured out, so we kinda got a 'new' dyson for free lol). Recently the motor didn't work that well and my mom replaced it for $200 which wasn't that bad (when I bought it was 1k+, so still cheaper than getting a new Dyson) I also have a 2yo Dyson V8 in Canada right now, also similar to Dyson v11 in terms of functions, just slightly smaller in size and capacity. Zero issues with it. Reliability wise I think is see heng suay
Per hair off hard floor is an easy task for a vacuum. I'd get a Dyson V11 with a soft roller head. Plenty in the sale
Mine came with a torque drive head (motor bar) and a soft roller. We mainly use the soft roller for our amtico floor but occasionally use the main motor bar head when the other has been washed. No noticeable scratching at all. It's also very effective on hardwood just a bit louder really. Our V11 is 5 years old, the heads have changed very slightly I believe
Best performing is objectively the Dyson Gen 5 Detect. There are.plebty of reports of poor customer service outside of the UK and quality issues for some. My V11 has done 5 years and is going great still. Avoid the Miele Tri flex thing, overpriced and doesn't perform on the same level. The latest from Samsung looks interesting but very expensive too
Best performing is the Dyson but I guess performance is less of a concern if this is intended for quick pickups on hard floor only? I'd look at others with multi-cyclone technology Vs sharks single or dual cyclone. You will spend more time than you want cleaning a shark filter... Dyson on the other hand you will need to rinse out every 4-6 weeks or so. A Dyson V11 is probably plenty for your needs, especially if your country sells them with a soft roller head
My Dyson V11 absolute+ just died (motor issue), gone through the repair process and it can’t be fixed. I love that vacuum, used it everyday, rather fuss free maintenance: washable filter, easy to remove the dust collection bin and rollers for washing. The main problem is that it doesn’t last. From what I read, 3-4 years seem to be the average. Mine lasted 3.5 years before the motor spoiled, had it fixed and a year later (now), it spoiled again. I’m looking to get a new one but not sure which version is good (V8 V12 V16)? Don’t want wet vacuum. Open to trying other brands of cordless vacuum if they are as good and even better if they can last.
Yes I enjoyed using Dyson and feel hesitant switching to other brands. Went to a battery recycling business and the boss showed us that Dyson uses good quality ones. I didn’t have battery issue for the 4.5 years I had it, only the motor. Fixing it each time costs more than $200 (thankfully mine was under extended warranty)
My house is 2500sqft and my Dyson stick vacuum is freaking amazing. The Dyson hate on this sub is wild, cause in the real world everyone with them loves them. I get about 45mins on my battery, which is plenty for my house. The battery is also like 6 years old at this point and still going strong - I have a dog living in the house and one of my living rooms is carpet too so the vacuum gets a decent work out. The model I have is some weird convoluted name like "V11 Absolute pro" or something like that, and I highly recommend it. Grabbing it for something small and quick is super convenient, it just hangs in my closet charging itself, and once a week when we do a deep clean it lasts no problem.
I don't understand how everyone in this page somehow has the same bad experience with Dyson.. we bought our v11 pro like 5+ years ago and it's still incredibly good. The suction on it is crazy and the battery will still run for 40+ minutes. My aunt has the same vacuum, she was the one who convinced me to buy it because she also freaking loves it. Did we somehow get the only 2 on the market that work? How else is literally everyone on Reddit calling them junk?
The dyson v11 original. $399. It's not good for big debris, but it has significantly more suction than my prior shark duo. It's also cheaper cuz it has less attachments.
I just returned the Dyson V11 despite the fact that it had the strongest suction power of any cordless vacuum we've tried, and it's because of the trigger, which also makes it difficult to maneuver. The fact that they haven't created a vacuum with an on and off button is pretty ridiculous. Not worth $400+.
I just got the v11 plus for $399 on sale. It definitely has better suction power than the v10. So I wouldn't pay that price for the 10 whatsoever. Either way, I'm returning mine. Even though the suction power is fantastic, it's hard to maneuver (likely because it suctions so well) and hate that it doesn't have an on and off button like other cordless vacuums. Instead, you have to press the button the entire time as you're vacuuming. That, combined with it being top heavy, makes it a no-go for me. Search Vacuum Wars videos on YT for recommendations.

That’s what I thought, too. Here’s my math on that: I spent $1k on my Sebo in March. I added up the cost of the 3 Dyson vacuums( I’ve had since 2017) and the parts I’ve had to replace = I should have bought a Sebo sooner. Models I’m literally placing on the curb tomorrow for whoever wants them. I’ve had it with Dyson’s cheap plastic crap: The upright Dyson (2021), V6 (2017) replaced with V11 (2022). All have had their brush heads replaced. 2 of the 3 are broken again. Not sure what’s wrong with the upright, again. We don’t even use them heavily, I have cleaners in once every 2 weeks. It’s absurd.
I like mine a lot, but the biggest thing that bothers me is the battery. It doesn’t last quite long enough to vacuum my living room, kitchen, and back room. And it takes like 5 hours to charge. So vacuuming takes planning and I can’t get it all done at once anymore. My next vacuum will be a ryobi cordless.
