"amazing battery (literally all day at work without going into the case)"
"Ok it's great I had them playing for more than 6 hrs with ANC and they didn't die ... Soundcore says about 10hrs and I think it's pretty true you can at least get 8 hrs without ANC and with ANC I reckon at least 7 hrs. ... The case can charge UpTo 3 times and combined Anker says 40 hrs of play time which I think is pretty accurate."
"Long-lasting! Swear! Hahaha. Halos everyday ko siyang gamit and once a week ko lang siya need i-charge"

"I live in a 2700 square foot cookie-cutter tract house. First floor is laminate with an office that has carpet. Then there’s the stairs which leads to 5 carpeted bedrooms, two tile bathrooms, a laundry room, and a walk-in carpeted closet. I can get all of that done one charge."
"I'm almost certainly gonna go with the A329. I just learned that the 70mai A810 uses a battery and not a capacitor. Batteries are terrible for dash cams due to how hot the inside of a car gets in the summer here."
"It endured pretty intense weather and rain in alpine landscape without any problem"

"being cordless and effective for what I need. ... For some the tradeoff for cordless, no bags, good suction, etal means we vacuum more than we otherwise would. ... I never would have thought I'd defend a near $1,000 cordless vacuum but I got one as a gift and will never buy anything different now."
"One thing I really love is how it came with two batteries. ... Never have I ran out of a charge."

"it works like new now."

"only the right bud keeps a charge"
"The out of warranty repair cost was 75% of what a new one would cost so I chucked it."
"The screen burned out within a year"

"battery died just months after warranty expired."
"The dust bin broke 3 times. ... The wand broke 3 times. ... The red clip button broke 4 times. ... The battery broke once."
"My seventh Fitbit died last week (from Luxe to Versa to Charge 5 and 6, this was my second in-warranty replacement), white line on the screen to no screen at all within 24 hours."

"I have KEF Q150 with a 150 euro amp. They sound drastically better than a Sonos Move 2. They're different products but for the same price you have way better sound, it's not even close."
"costing $1000-$1200, respectively ... can't, in good faith, recommend a high-end Garmin to anyone who isn't rich"
"Addressing the Move, it’s a nice speaker and overpriced for what it does. ... I feel $250-300 is really what it should cost. ... If I reviewed it, it would get hammered on its value."

"But it was literally just pushing around debris on the floor."
"the amount of dog hair / ETC it can get out of the carpet vs the Dyson Cordless cannot be compared."
"the cordless Dyson isn’t that great for carpet/rugs ... I have the old school Dyson Ball vacuum cleaner and it’s sooo much better for rugs"

"I hate to hold pressing the power button all the time."
"I couldn’t get over having to press the button down the entire time vacuuming."
"My v15 detect has been nothing but problems. ... I was having an issue where I would start the vacuum and it would cut power. Repress the trigger it would run for another few seconds then cut power. ... the first time they sent a new battery. It made the problem even worse."
I love my $150 Dyson V6 fluffy from 2018...in spite of its poorly designed dust bin emptying system...and the fact that if I run it on max power all the time, it will die in 5 or 6 minutes and my battery will need to be replaced every 2 years... But that fluffy head is the bee's knees on hard surfaces! I just use it on low power, after getting a warranty replacement battery right before the 2 or 3 year warranty ran out, and I don't use the wall mount anymore (maybe continuous charging zapped the battery?) - and I will keep it until it completely bites the dust! Then I'll get a new fluffy with the better designed bin. Yes, recommend - don't charge it all the time and don't use max power often and you'll be golden. Also, Dyson will price match on their site typically...and give you free accessories...
I’ve had my V6 Absolute for 10 years. It’s my main floor vacuum and I have 3 young children, so it gets a lot of use. The only thing I’ve had to replace was the battery in 2021. I bought a knock-off battery on Amazon, and she’s still purring.
My Dyson was v6 from HSN or QVC and it had tons of accessories but it never worked and would do that start stop. I took it to a vacuum place he said they are not repairable, but “fingered” the port and found that the flap was stuck open. That corrected one issue. Then, I replaced the canister and battery off Amazon, with help from you tube. It works better than it has for 10 years. But, with that being said I love all my sharks. I had a broken tube and they ent me a free replacement, my first gen robot had issues, sent me a new robot. The only complaint I have with my model, the tools don’t stay on and the stair couch one will not stay attached at all. We’ve also lost most tools. Only complaint. There are 3 shark vacs and a shark vac mop which is the best thing ever!
I love my Dysons, I know this sub reddit hates them but if you get them on sale it's a great value. I've been using the stick vacs since the v6 and never had a issue...
I used to work at a local vac shop in Ottawa Ontario. We used to get a lot of refurbished V6s, V7s and V8s, mind you this was like 8 years ago. I got myself a V6 for upstairs ( It was like $180) and a V8 for the living room and that was about $230. i dont even know if Dyson still does the Refurbs, they still come with a one year warranty if i remember. After the one year warranty is up i would use the 3rd party batteries for the Dysons. Its cheaper and you can get 2 some times. I also got a refub Miele cannister and my wife can tell quickly if i vaccumed with the Miele instead of the Dysons. You need to have the power on high for the Dysons to suck as good as the canisters, but it kills the battery stupid quick.
I've had my Dyson v6 for 6 years now. 1 batter change was needed only.
I've read enough posts here to know that a cordless vac will never complete with a corded unit. I've had my Miele Capricorn for years and love it, and we also have a Roborock robot that for whatever reason I really only use to vacuum and mop the kitchen daily. I've had a Dyson v6 around for years for quick clean ups, kitty litter spills etc but it's getting pretty worn. I've been tempted to grab a refurb Dyson v8/10 \~$200, but I know Dyson sucks (or doesn't suck to be more accurate...) What else should I be looking at for a cordless vac that preferably won't end up with my wifes long hair or cat hair wrapped around the roller constantly?
This. I have a Milwaukee M18 8amp battery on my v6 Dyson and I usually have to empty my canister before a recharge. There's also a lot of cool fake parts for Dyson v6s. The knockoff batteries are fine but they only last a couple of years.
I think we have the Dyson v6 and it’s rubbish. Cant comment on the more expensive models but I think it will piss you off if the shark does.
I’ve got a Miele wired vacuum I’ve owned 10+ years and gone through 3 Dyson cordless in that time. They’re handy to quickly pick up dirt etc but definitely not BIFLish. My Dyson v6 is starting to do that dreaded on and off pulsing thing I’ve had before and replacing battery and filters and cleaning with air compressor etc have done nothing.
